@6:55 Whenever you charge your battery while it's in the car, you're supposed to put the negative (ground) cable to the chassis or engine mount, so it doesn't mess up the electricals of the car incase there's a problem

Im sure the newer ones do, that one is over 20 years old, hence the chain for a handle to replace the plastic one that broke.

Does that motomaster charger have a safe mode to prevent overcharging incase I forget? Thanks for the vid!
most chargers nowadays will prevent overcharging, BUT read the owners manual to make sure.

Yeah that's the thing. I guess you're supposed to check on the gage once in a while and hope it doesn't blow up in between checks.

looks like one of the battery cells is shorted out. Cannot be fixed. Replace the battery.
How long to charge it for
Around 8 hrs on low setting. Today's chargers will automatically stop in case you forget
