It's funny how this Collector's Edition line started off with giving off less than the bare minimum of accessories for $30 to the upcoming Collectors Edition Wonder Woman who's gonna be packed with everything but the kitchen sink also for $30
Yes, I'm okay with that one being $30
Don't forget Firestorm, which came with so many hands that I didn't know what to do with them.

BTW, that chain accessory actually clips together to make a closed circle. That way you can put it around him and have him "break" it open.

PERFECT timing. Was trying to see which bodies this head looked good with. This figures headsculpt is my favorite rendition of Clark they've done!

I cracked and bought him for retail. Then immediately gave him a new cape and painted boots lol. I put this head, dumbell and all, onto the Mezco Superman body and it works *way* better than it should. There's some dead space to fill to get the neck length right, but it's a surprising fit

I feel like that new mulleted Superman head would look better on the repainted AC1000 Superman from the Atomic Skull 2 pack.
I'm looking forward to seeing it on the OG AC1000. I always associate that look with darker blue

I finally picked him up to use his head on the upcoming Page Punchers Shazam.
I’ll use one of the many AC1000 sculpt heads on this body so I didn’t pay $24 for just the head.
He really needs two fists.

I have a specific request lol. See how you made that “perfect Superman” mixing Hush with the AC1000 mold? I’d REALLY like to see the opposite, the leftover parts put together into a figure. Just throw that somewhere in any video, I just have to see that abomination lol. Much love.

I would have bought both. Should have done equal amounts of both looks. And i wont pay scalpers. The set retails at 30. I think its a great figure though i did put a slightly longer peg in the neck. Looking forward to the long hair supes.
I think they should have released three $20 figures as mass releases, none as chase. 1, release the Platinum edition version as Superman #1. It looks just like that cover. Release the Platinum version but with all blue legs and straps, call it Action Comics 1 Release this version with the little red booties, call it Action Comics 1 Cover Edition. Release 1 every six months. I'd have bought all three.
I want the original cartoon version which would be similar but it would have black and red Superman logo.

Thanks for the video. It would be helpful when you do these if you did a side by side comparison after the swap like you do before the swap. You swap and go straight to a close up which makes it difficult to see the proportions with the complete figure. Thanks!

That head does make a better Captain Marvel than the actual Captain Marvel head (no...I won't call him Shazam...he IS Captain Marvel..haha).
Sorry if you've discussed this before, but can all mcfarlane DC figures heads be swapped with each other and is it a simple process? Also, great videos, subscribed!
Not all the heads are compatible with each other because some have different sizes pegs, but by and large if you heat the heads they pop off easily and can be swapped. I find it's best if you can get the head and peg together.
I may be late to the party but if you swap the page punchers hands with the dark knight returns hands they fit better

I was able to find the platinum edition of this figure not just once, but twice. After selling the first one, I assume a force beyond my understanding just wanted me to keep the second.
Try the head of the Superman, from Superman/Ultraman two-pack on the Action Comics body. If you use the right neck peg, it will look pretty amazing
I don't have that set, but if it goes on clearance I may pick it up.
@@5POAFigureReviews DEFINITELY hard to find and it was blind stupid luck that I found it, lost it on the bus back home, then found a Game Stop nearby that had it. WHEW! But worth it in the end
I swapped my action 1 head onto the DKR body to kinda sorta make a Tim Sale Superman for all Seasons figure

Hopefully McFarlane listens that we want a new sculpt but since we keep buying them I doubt it. I plan on swapping the mullet Superman head with either 1000 or Vs Doomsday bodies. That steroid body almost makes me stop getting them... almost.
I'm only getting him for the head and for Krypto. That body is ridiculous.

Sorry man, no interest in picking up Eradicator unless they release one that looks like the Return of Superman color scheme. Also, from what I've seen of the leaked images of cyborg Superman I'm not really liking it enough to pick it up. Not unless it's painted really well or it comes with another figure I just have to have or something like that. Sorry man. I'm holding out for a classic Cyborg Superman.

Jason, what's the story behind THE STELTH ARMORED IRON MAN WITH NO LEGS?
When I went to review Stealth Iron man, he broke out of the package. I was left at that moment with a choice of either trying to return him and find one somewhere else or keep going. Deciding that "The Show Must Go On," I continued the video but focused on humor. I did a little skits, and a lot of the kind of things that are now a staple on the channel. Up to that point I took things a lot more seriously, but that video really loosened me up. For me that's when the channel really came alive, and so since then he has been my mascot and a constant reminder that we can always make something wonderful out of bad situations.
@@5POAFigureReviews yeah I've bought figures like that too ,l bought an ICE MAN from the 97 x-men line and when l opened it it completely crumbled on me, recently l got a x-men DARWIN and the right elbow joint was super glued, and a 3/34 G l Joe stalker with a broken left elbow joint both were purchased at ROSS.
No only sentrt but i think the hush body would make a good base for an Omn-iman or immortal custom.

This one's a pass for me. Too expensive for what you get. I have an old DC Direct Action Comics #1 Superman figure that I absolutely love. It may be 6" scale and have much less articulation, but the sculpt, proportions, details and clean lines are just superior and more accurate to my eye.
