Succulent information Care tips for succulents
1)SOIL- well draining ,porous,loose soil…non organic,a soil media that doesn’t retain moisture.
2)POT - smaller the pot better ideally 3-4 inches pot depth is good enough for a medium size succulent.
3)WATERING - only when the soil is bone dry however green coloured succulents like haworthia ,aloe mainTain slight Moisture but not soggy wet soil.
4)LIGHT - brightly coloured succulents provide direct morning sunlight for 5-6 hours post acclimation .Green coloured succulents like haworthia, strings of pearls or any string varieties indirect bright light.
5)Fertiliser - is not the top priority if you don’t use fertilisers it’s fine…but if you do go for liquid based fertiliser 1/2 the strength what’s mentioned on the bottle dilute in water ….and only feed the succulents that are in their growing period …never feed dormant succulents…never add too much fertiliser it will make the succulent weaker …during the growing period once a month or once in two month should be good ….wishing you all the luck

Your succulents pot look so cool
Very informative video…thanks!🌸
You’re welcome 😊
Good that I'm potting my succulents after watching this. These are things we completely ignore and end up thinking succulents are hard to grow. With the help of this video atleast half way we can avoid mistakes.
Its a revision by watching this great video again to refresh my memory furthermore; made me realise that this a crucial topic coz many succulents die by the compression of the stem.
Thank you for covering topics like these Sir🙏💯Much appreciated 👍.
that’s actually a very good point ..yup compressed stem …when soil is compact stem is compressed to an extent that it gets suffocated due to which
either it dries or rots from it ☺️
I thought you provide these solution based on your experience, but you are so technical that match the level of a botanist. By the way what is your subject of your career?
thank you Rishabh that's a huge compliment ..yes this is all from my personal experience ..i have been a gardener for a long time but succulents i started later around 2014-2015 with absolutely 0 knowledge i stared with reading books and articles but unfortunately it wasn't much help ...unless we do it practically ...with a lot of mistakes and errors finally reached somewhere with succulents today :)
i m from a hospitality industry ( ex flight attendant )
Good information 😊😊
Thanks alena 😊
Much needed information 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you very much for the information, very helpful, will definitely take care ....
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much! This is why most of my succulents perished. Should we similarly take care not to let soil particles get inside between the layers of leaves?
Yes, absolutely..you can use a succulent blower and get that cleaned this happens initially when we report but later if you're careful with watering and the leaves are elevated the problem of soil getting in between is very minimal or it wont enter at all i will be making a video on how to do placement of succulents in pot next video it will be much clear
In which season or time is best to propogate from both leaf and stem ?
currently all succulents except echeveria…but I propagate echeveria as well in my city because my winter is very mild and my Echeverias don’t hit dormancy…thankfully 😂
Bought one howerthia recently, till not repotted, the leaves r pointing downward, probably due to lack of sunlight, making it troublesome to repot..plz guide..
try to pot on bit wider pot..or take few leaves off from the lower portion ..yes due to lack of light it happens ..and it will take month for the leaves to come back in shape
