Thank you very much. It was very helpful. I was not a plant person until I met succulents three months ago. I now have about 50 different ones and want to learn everything about them. It is a passion for me. Never had any passion for anything before. I am retired and have all my time to care for them. I have a special room for them and bought growing lights. They are my babies ❤
Funny I did the same on monday with same kind of graptopetalum. The difference is that i've left the head drying for only 24 hours before inserting it into the soil. It has already been planted hopefully it grows
@@LushGardener yes hopefully there won't be any problems ahead. Usually if the micro scars don't fully recover it will start rotting a week later. But I also propagated the leaves so that increase my odd little bit 🙏😂. I will inform you the progress.
there are two methods one after it has calloused which takes roughly around 2-3 days on the fourth day you can put it in dry soil ...watering must not be conducted until roots appear otherwise there is a risk of stem rot .. second what i prefer to is wait for the aerial roots to appear which may take around 2-3 weeks again depending on the environment....after putting in soil wait for 2-3 days again so the cutting can settle in ...no usage of fertilizer
yes when you see the pups water it like how you water a regular succulent…but don’t let the soil stay dry for a very long time… the moment you feel the soil is dry water it …
Many thanks for this lovely sharing friend👍🏻🌹🙏💕

Looks very healthy and beautiful. Where can I buy purple delight in Bangalore?
Example if i behead/ cutting mother succulents. Can i move mother succulent to new pot?
yes you can but before that ensure its calloused
When or how long do you wait to plant the cuttings in the soil?
there are two methods
one after it has calloused which takes roughly around 2-3 days on the fourth day you can put it in dry soil ...watering must not be conducted until roots appear otherwise there is a risk of stem rot ..
second what i prefer to is wait for the aerial roots to appear which may take around 2-3 weeks again depending on the environment....after putting in soil wait for 2-3 days again so the cutting can settle in ...no usage of fertilizer
Do you water the stem cutting once you see pups growing?
yes when you see the pups water it like how you water a regular succulent…but don’t let the soil stay dry for a very long time… the moment you feel the soil is dry water it …
