I’m kinda new to weightlifting guys so I need lil guidance here… so when ppl say do these exercises to hit a particular head on a particular muscle group do they mean do all those different exercise on the same day or do they mean just alternate the exercises on different days?…like I’m genuinely confused.
@anonymouskyle1233 For me I just try a couple reps and choose whichever one feels the best, you don't have to do all the excersices they show you. Remember you don't need variety, just pick 1 excersice for every muscle (or compound), train till failure, and stay consistent 💪
I do: Overhead extension (long head) Overhand push down (lateral head) And then Underhand push down (medial) to hit all the muscles (I use cable for all)
The problem is that I can't dip or do any bodyweight exercise because I'm too fat (yes, I'm in an calorie deficit, working hard to lose weight) Hopefully 2 years from now I will be making push ups, pull ups, dips etc 🙏🙏
Broken down in more simpler terms, based on experience: 1. Skull crushers for Mass (this is what makes your arms look beefy in a shirt) 2. Push/Pulldowns for aesthetics (this is what gives the tricep its horseshoe look) 3. Dips (for overall tricep strength)
These are literally the 3 exercises I do lmao Edit: added close grip flat barbell bench back into my program so I stopped doing pushdowns, used to only do flat and incline dumbbell press edit 2: just dips and single arm crossbody pushdowns now as my elbows got messed up while loading luggage, these 2 dont make my elbows hurt like the others and are helping reduce the pain in day to day life

Skull crushers are great for a good long head stretch (which is a good thing) but you need to be adding in kickbacks for a better long head contraction, you need stretch and contraction to see good growth, oldschool bodybuilders all swear by kickbacks and for good reason. (I'm not saying to replace skullcrushers with kickbacks but you certainly need to be doing both)
Also if you are at home and only have dumbells and no cable you can do an overhead tricep press, so look that up if you don't have access to a full gym

I use molds as weights so I get gain and I'm lifting like 3 weeks ago 100 reps every 4 hours do you think I got potential to get the same gains as you without a proper diet cause my mama cook for me

Hop on that assisted pull up / dip machine! You can progressively overload to bodyweight

Don’t drop your dip past 90 degrees with your elbows, this puts a lot of unnecessary strain on your shoulders and can cause injury
