Autel Robotics I appreciate the follow up. But if 1.1.3 is more stable than the beta, Ill remain on the current software. I havent had any issues with the current operating system

Autel Robotics I'm curious, I did the update for my main battery and my backup battery and I noticed that the camera gimbal and rig got extremely hot. I'm wondering why just updating firmware would make the entire Gimbal and camera hot?
I updated and most everything seems ok, BUT I seem to be having a lot more video drops and return to home problems than before. I went to the exact same places I flew the original firmware 1.1.3. I'll give Autel a call and see what they have to say about it. Maybe it's just something simple. -Jon

I just picked up a pre-owned x-star premium, and the first thing I did was to come here and follow these instructions. Worked like a charm! I’m going to start saving my pennies to get an EVO, but that will be a while, so I’m going to use the heck out of my ‘new’ x-star!

I am totally confused.......why put out a video that says...."it's finally here" and then it's not available as you show in the video. It's still a Beta version........NOT GOOD AUTEL !!!!
The issues that one RUclipsr had after down loading the Ver 2.0 BETA with video drop and not being able to re-establish full control after the Go Home was activated automatically is really an issue or more operator error.?
I have the same problem ( did you find the solution? ), I found this forum where people with the same problem called Autel and they recommend to send the drone and they will replace the board for about $217, BUT I don't thing the problem is the motherboard, I think the problem is the firmware because my drone was fine before the firmware.
When will the final firmware release be available? I'm a little hesitant to use beta software, since the beta agreement says Autel is not responsible if the beta firmware causes damage to my drone.
Just performed the update. Also did the extra batt. I like the pinch zoom. I can't find any yaw speed adjustment. Can you explain? Or is the speed adjustment in the stick control? Thanks for these improvements. Again reaffirming my choice of drone!
I inquired through autel's help messaging. They got to me almost immediately. They will be putting a video out this week to explain how to adjust the yaw rate with the firmware. This company is awesome. And so is the new firmware. I was out over the weekend shooting some video. This drone now has the flying characteristics of another manufacturer that I was always a little envious about. It's like another new drone for free! It climbs faster, up to speed faster, and decelerates faster. No longer needs compass calibration every-time. Add to that all great features it already has, and you have an winner!
Is there more to the 2.0 update, which is still a Beta, like proximity to airport no-fly zone? Why do I ask? Because our club airfield is less than 2 miles from a commercial and military airport. We are able to fly by calling the tower. Please give an answer with all that the upgrade entails.

The camera needs air flow to become cool. I also noticed this when I updated my rig. When flying the heat sinks at the top are cooled by moving air. After flying it was cool as normal.

Kenny Foss yes. All you have to do is turn on "airmap" in your settings and any airports will be encircled in orange.

I set my xsp in front of a table fan for the update. I noticed the heat problem when I first got it and was learning the camera functions.
Some people have been able to upgrade! However I've not been able to find the download on the Autel Website!

Jamey Epperson I think you should upgrade both drones and all the batteries. By doing this, it does not matter if you change.
