A legendary champion who survived a near-fatal crash at one of the most notorious circuits in the world and experienced severe burns, only to return to an F1 cockpit a few weeks later and narrowly miss out on the title.
The fact that on top of all of this, Niki went to win the title the following year and would retire by the end of the decade, only to then come back win a third title, showcases how much of a legend he truly is.

@@LeonKotze70No, everyone had their part, the team is from the Tyrrell era, not just since Schumacher's comeback or Brawn's takeover. Allison and Co. have more to do with the hybrid era, which overturned many things. And if so, then Rosberg is the one who formed the team instead of Schumscher. Many of Schumacher's peculiarities were too important at the time. Like the starting number or mind games against a much faster colleague. He could have been a better guiding figure for Rosberg.
@@LeonKotze70 Nico Rosberg also built the team. He and Schumacher did alot for the team. Hamilton, as good as he really is, always had the benefit of driving a car that could win a championship. Until the latest years.

I don't know whether this coincidence or not. Lauda brought Schumacher when lauda became Ferrari advisor. Years later, lauda brought Schumi to mercedes. Both of them are legendary driver. Both of them know how to develop team & cara.
