Ziva is actually a pretty sad character. She was forced to be a living weapon for her father, taught that Mossad was the only organization she could really trust, and the connections with anyone else is a sign of weakness. But then she was actually beginning to see that she can have a life outside of Mossad that she can actually enjoy, only for the people she that she could absolutely trust to betray her one after the other.
Egyptian is a language. That is what was spoken in Ancient Egypt. Widespread use of the Arabic language in Egypt began with the Arabic conquest of the country in 640, during the early medieval period. Arabic did not become the official language of Egypt until the 17th century.
As much as I like Ziva, Hadar was right. She knew, or at least suspected that Rivkin had gone rogue, yet she kept quiet about it. She let her personal feelings get in the way of her duty. By the time she acted, it was too late. She had nobodies ass to kick but her own for this.
+George Pierson I don't think it's a gender thing. Part of growing up is learning to accept responsibility for your own mistakes. It's not easy being detached enough to admit that you got someone you loved killed, especially so soon. Ziva ain't perfect & her conviction works against her when she's wrong
Since you mentioned that, she probably wasn't really angry with Tony, she was more likely angry at herself and Rivkin but just needed a chance to vent.
Not much to do with growing up mostly just showing Ziva is human. Humans like to think we work off logic but in reality most of our reactions are to our emotions.
yes I totally agree with you. and as much as I like Ziva's character, it felt satisfying to see Hadar counterattack : unlike Tony, he ain't getting bullied
@triplexxxsatyr She was just trying to hold on to the little family she had left. Ari's dead, Tali's dead, her father's an ass and most of her childhood friends are dead. She was just trying to keep some part of a life she once knew in Israel alive. She deluded herself into thinking Tony was jealous because she didn't want to accept the truth that Michael was bad. But deep down she did know and she understood Tony's true intentions.
Ziva wanted to blame everyone but herself, when she played the biggest role in all of it. And I don't think Ziva was betrayed by Tony, Gibbs and Tony are the only ones who didn't betray her and I'm glad they had her finally realize that, because Ziva kind of made me mad with the whole situation. I don't know if I would have been able to like her again if she didn't realize that she was the one that was wrong!!
I agree. You could tell Gibbs was getting irritated by the accusation, but held his tongue. He realized it was out of sorrow and anger, rather than disrespect. Still, you could tell she was testing his patience with her behavior.
she really wasn't 'betrayed by Tony' tbh because he was trying to work out whats he was doing from the start because he didn't want her in trouble... I really love Ziva as a character but she did kinda mess a lot of things up in these episodes.. :L
It is implied that Mossad knew or at least suspected that Rivkin had gone rogue. If that is true, they are partly responsible. But you are right. By the time Ziva called, Hadar could not have helped even if he wanted to.
@triplexxxsatyr and that's the real reason she was so angry. Not that Tony killed him, not even that crap about Michael at an unfair disadvantage in the fight. It's because she felt guilty because he wouldn't be dead and everything that followed wouldn't have happened if she had just taken care of it herself. Right now is the time where she's trying to decide where her loyalties lie and she was hoping that Gibbs would fight for her.
A few issues with this episode that really were quite frustrating were first, why would Mossad send an operative, let alone a rogue operative to our soil, and for God sakes not first have the decency and respect to inform CIA, second Ziva not reporting Rivkin violated ethics as well as American law, foreign agents are forbidden from operating on American soil without the upper echelons of our government being aware of them, and third if Rivkin and Mossad knew there was a sleeper cell on our soil all they had to do was call us and America would've handled it and tidily not all messy with the murder of an American citizen!
We don't "hate" Ziva. On the contrary, we like her very much but that doesn't mean that we aren't willing to call her out on her bullshit. Hadar is right or at least partly. Ziva can blame whomever she wants and there was plenty to go around. But her complicity in Rivkin played a huge role and it isn't fair for her to call out others role while ignoring hers.
@triplexxxsatyr It wasn't personal pride she was just trying to hold on to the little family she had left. Ari went rogue and she had to kill him, her younger sister died a long time ago, her Dad treats her like a weapon more than a daughter and most of her childhood friends are probably dead as well. Michael was like her only tie to a life in Israel that she once knew and she was trying to keep it alive. I don't even think she really loved him.
what would you think about the person who just shot your boyfriend in your livingroom? would'nt you feel betrayed? her reaction is natural, after all she´s human.
@Caro - Totally agree with you. I think deep down Tony was looking after Ziva's best interest. But at the same time, Tony is known as an obnoxious irritating co-worker. Heck, he was tailing Ziva. And then by coincidence, sees the guy he despises in Ziva's apartment. It got real personal because deep down, Tony has always loved Ziva. Tony went a bit off the reservation despite Rivkin being evil. Even Gibbs stated that Tony was wrong on trying to make an arrest inside Ziva's apartment without the team. Testosterone took over between the two of them.
@kbl55429 read A2daM2daZ's comment its not that she wanted to blame "everyone but herself" she didn't want Rivkin to die and he did that's what she was pissed about.
I Love Ziva So Much..She Was Hurting Over Rivkin...And Hadar May Have Been Right But Ziva Was Trying To Protect Him In One Way Even If It Was The Wrong Way...That Guy On The Picture is Ziva and Ari But Who Is The Little Kid, It Looks Like A Little Boy, Ziva Has A Little Sister Tali...Poor Ziva Was Betrayed...Tony Technically Didn't Have To Kill Rivkin But It Ends Up Being A Good Thing 🥺😍💖
Yeah we get it. But Ziva was not betrayed by anyone. I like Ziva too but that doesn't mean I won't call her out on her bullshit. It isn't right for her to call others out for their role in Rivkin's untimely death while ignoring hers. Besides what could Mossad do? By the time Ziva called Hadar, Tony and Rivkin were already throwing down in her apartment.
this scene always make me laugh. They show just how untrustworthy the entire David Family is. It is rotten from the top down. Ziva lies, covers up for her lovers murdering a US agent, She does not know how to tell the truth.
Ziva is actually a pretty sad character. I love that Ziva has such a rich backstory. There's so much going on with her.
im so used to Arnold Vosloo speaking egyptian in the mummy, i had forgotten how good his english is.
Well, the guy IS from South Africa. I'd think English would be well known to him.
You mean Arabic? Egyptian isn’t a language

+Daniel B Females always blame the guys for their own mess.

She's human too. And it is human to make mistakes.
Pero está escena ayudo bastante para avanzar en la relación de Tony y Ziva desde la temporada 7 eran más intimos
Well when The Mummy is right, he's right.
Really moving scene. How very skilled professional is Ziva David. ❤❤❤❤.
This scene is one of the greatest in NCIS hands down!
Kinda funny how both Imhotep and Ardeth Bay were in NCIS at different times.
Also kind of funny Imhotep is basically a Good Guy while Ardeth Bay turns traitor here
“Who’s next? You?” Well...... yeah kinda. Eventually.
My heart broke at Ziva and Gibbs when Ziva says "Who's next? You?"
I agree. You could tell Gibbs was getting irritated by the accusation, but held his tongue. He realized it was out of sorrow and anger, rather than disrespect. Still, you could tell she was testing his patience with her behavior.

How's any of this Hadar's fault at all anyway? Ziva called him, like, 30 seconds before Tony shot Rivkin.
It is implied that Mossad knew or at least suspected that Rivkin had gone rogue. If that is true, they are partly responsible.
But you are right. By the time Ziva called, Hadar could not have helped even if he wanted to.

I love Ziva lol
I also love ziva too always did always have always do always will forever and that is a promise
Everyone stops fighting when Gibbs shows up.
YAY!!!!! Some one who got it all in one go :). The only reason that Gibbs let her stay was because he knew she needed time.
O?if k😅ķ*8
HAHAHAH HADAR OWNS ZIVA IN DA FIGHT :D
Gibbs is very charismatic in This scene 👍🏿
My inspiration
Careful Ziva, Imhotep is still immortal.
I hate the fact that everyone in the comments hates Ziva! She was sad because she loved Micheal and he died geez guys chill
We don't "hate" Ziva. On the contrary, we like her very much but that doesn't mean that we aren't willing to call her out on her bullshit.

LOVE ZIVA! LOVE TIVA!
I also love ziva too always did always have always do always will forever and that is a promise
It defantly is heartbroken when ziva says To Gibbs : I been betrayed by Mossad, my father, Tony .who's next .. You?

i agree. can;t wait to how she will react if her father show up in d c

yep
I Love Ziva So Much..She Was Hurting Over Rivkin...And Hadar May Have Been Right But Ziva Was Trying To Protect Him In One Way Even If It Was The Wrong Way...That Guy On The Picture is Ziva and Ari But Who Is The Little Kid, It Looks Like A Little Boy, Ziva Has A Little Sister Tali...Poor Ziva Was Betrayed...Tony Technically Didn't Have To Kill Rivkin But It Ends Up Being A Good Thing 🥺😍💖

You probably already know but the little kid is Talia"Tali' Ziva's little sister who was killed in a terrorist attack when she was a teenager.

this scene always make me laugh. They show just how untrustworthy the entire David Family is. It is rotten from the top down. Ziva lies, covers up for her lovers murdering a US agent, She does not know how to tell the truth.
