- This is the final showdown between Tony and Michael. I'm trying to pinpoint what Tony was thinking at the end, when he looks up at Ziva. It looked to me like a very sad "I'm sorry". Any opinions?
On an unrelated note: I wish they would've named Michael something else like "Rudy". This "Tony and Michael" stuff drove me nuts. Развлечения
Tony tried to dissuade Michael from continuing but shot him when he was going to use the glass as an improvised weapon. Honestly, Michael wouldn't have spared Tony for an instant so I think lethal force was required.
Michael could’ve killed Tony effortlessly had he not been drunk. Tony let his feelings for Ziva override his job.
@@DelishaPowell He was going to kill him either way🗿
It's unbelievable that Ziva didn't trust Tony. It was self-defence.
No question about it being self defense, but remember he, like Ari, were more or less trained by Eli. No further explanation should be necessary.
I have to disagree about it being self-defense. Tony was obviously holding the gun behind his back, and instead of taking it out before Michael charged he waited till Michael charged. And because he waited it would end up looking like self-defense
***** I disagree with that.Almost everytime that a criminal is shot in a self defense situation, the gun is pulled at the last moment, otherwise it is classified as a homicide or manslaughter. You may have your hand on your weapon, but it is only drawn once you determine you have no other option but to use it to protect your life.
+Emily Dinges So Tony should have waited to be gutted like a pig? Or he should have fired instantly making it Tony executing an unarmed hostile.
No, he fired it in self-defense. He even attempted to beg Michael not to attempt it. Michael definitely had blood-lust in his eyes and would have killed him without hesitation.
He fired it once it was apparent Michael pulled the glass shard out of his torso and was about to stab him with it. That's when it becomes legit self-defense.
i felt so bad for ziva, but she should listen tony and believe his story. i think deep down she wanted to believe him but didnt think that it seemed right at the time.
That was legit self defense, even a kid would know
I Think The Lines Cross...,Aye It Was Certainly Self Defence But F*ck Me It Felt Good 😂
lol maybe not in Kenosha. ;) and you have a corrupt DA named Binger.
It was self defense.
But ziva loves Michael
I really liked this scene. Tony had no choice but to shoot him since Rivkin was gonna kill him with a shard of glass.
But I do say that was a nice shot when Tony nailed him in the face with the fridge door.
Tony's strength in combat is using objects around him, like the refrigerator door and the table. He's a badass anyways but he thinks in terms of what can really hurt and debilitate someone he's fighting.
He's a street fighter basically. He takes his surroundings into account.
Rivkin brought this on himself by resisting arrest and attacking Tony instead of just letting himself be arrested and coming quietly.
It was a strange scene. I was no fan of Rivkin, but Tony technically went off the reservation and broke standard protocol by attempting to arrest Rivkin. It eventually turned into justifiable self defense in favor of Tony. But let's all be honest, Rivkin was a bad guy, but it was more about Tony taking things personally because Rivkin and Ziva were lovers. And deep down, Tony has always loved Ziva. Lot's of drama in this episode.
@@toddsands6000 Except Tony didn't kill Rivkin "because he was jealous," that was just a false narrative that Elie tried to paint (and Ziva had fabricated to justify being made at Tony).
Tony wasn't even expecting Rivkin to answer the door, he thought it would be Ziva. When Rivkin answered the door, all the pieces fell into place.
I think it's a mix of, I'm sorry, oh crap and it's not what it looks like, plus the shock that Ziva saw it
Now that's a fight!
Rivkin was screwed Mossad wasn’t going to protect him after he’d been caught red handed he had to kill Tony in his mind anyway.
Happy to see Tony take that scumbag out. 4 shots to center mass, hah.
@blackisbeautiful09 i think the reason she just can't and doesn't believe tony till its too late is because she doesn't want to trust him. (Reunion) She trusted too many people and they all kinda screwed her over....so now, Tony, someone she REalllly loves....she can't risk trust him and getting hurt yet again. So it's just so better to not believe tony. =( how sad....
even sader after watching out of darkness
@@therra1101 yeah good luck comenting on a death guy that hasnt been here for 10 years
I think it's a mix of regret, anger(at Micheal and maybe even himself), and in a way trying to explain it to Ziva.
you alive i remember we went on a date mary jo
i don't believe he's thinking anything. there's just shock and complete helplessness on his face.
I’m sorry, but there was a bit of a cheesy grin as he went down too.
Actor needs to work on his death grimace - 😏
tony kicked his ass
What was he gonna do if he hadn't knocked the gun out of his hand? Would Dinozzo have just arrested him? Well, we'll never know.
I think rivkin try to play the peacemaker on tony and try to escape i bet that was the reason why
Tony’s scream as his arm breaks isn’t bad. Honestly I’d like a bit more, but the moment he gets the injury still stands out in this fight clearly.
NackWeasel I’m late but his adrenaline was pumping so it wouldn’t hurt as bad
@@gavinloob6075Yeah, Tony's arm was broken in the fight, so...
Naah, it's more of a "See... I TOLD you" look
where is #7?
i think the look is "it's not wat it looks like " looks
Why did Rivkin kill Tom Sherman?
2:11 Door check! lol
Anyone else ever notice that when gibbs and tony are trying to arrest someone it never goes right? They both involved getting the gun but only tony was successful. Gibbs almost choked to death but was still successful in taking him down.
2:50 michael is crying like a baby
Tony 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
Yeah... from bad man assassin to scared liddle puddy tat in four bullets...
^_^
He had to.
Yes it was self defence but Tony should have showed him he had the gun
He did. It was kicked out of his hand at the beginning of the fight.
Its like he said she wasn't there. Its not surprising her reaction Ziva was the ultimate onion very much layered and we know how she gets iy made everything after morr interesting
Toby tried to arrest rivkin without fighting him, and when rivkin wouldn’t cooperate, he instead attacked Tony and he had no choice but to shoot him because he had a sharp piece of glass as a weapon
not bad for a cop
La producción nos debió regalar mas esenas de pelea con Tony el sabe pelear Ziva hablan de qué es invencible pero hay muy poca esenas de pelea con ella.
Rivkin is jealous of Tony.
I think its the other way round. Tony is not happy to see Michael there because he'd rather it was him
Ncsi 1 Mossad 0
NCIS - 2, Mossad - 1 (at that point)
Not that I wasn't sorry to see the bad man get it but forensically significant surely is that Tony fired three shots into areas of the body anyone of which could have finished him off! Three shots were almost certain to do that. A trained NCIS Agent could surely have fired once or directed his shots to other parts of the body. He had time as I watched. Maybe not time enough for someone like me who has never held a gun let alone fired one. Why not disabling shots? Why not? Oh dear dear me! What would Abbie say? Ha ha!
A trained anyone with a firearm would know to not direct shots to other parts of the body. He fired four shots, not three. :P
It was probably just impulsive and he clearly would have still tried to go after Tony. I think it's easy to judge anyone from the sidelines, but when you are actually in the fight-to-death situation, it's hard to say how anyone would react regardless if whether you are trained or not. Also note, Tony was injured and had a broken arm so maybe he did try and stun him but missed, seeing as how firing with one hand is harder than firing with both.
All law enforcement officers are trained to fire center mass. It was a clean shooting. Michael came at Tony with a piece of glass after assaulting him and trying to grab his gun, he was defending himself.
+Roy Hemple
Be it police, SWAT or any kind of agent: Disabling shots may only be used at a safe distance or to keep someone thats armed and dangerous from fleeing (and possibly hurting others). If you are in imminent danger you are to fire shots at the torso and to *at least* shoot twice (double tap)to ensure either stopping power (if it's self defence) or that a vital organ is actually hit (if you really are shooting to kill).
Michael was standing right in front of him with a shard and Tony could only use a single arm. Trying to hit Michaels arm and missing (after all Tony was in a rather bad position and hat no way to stabilize the gun like he's supposed to) could have lead to his own death. Shooting his legs would have still left the shard in Michaels hand and even if he fell forward he would have been in range to stab Tony (which can be seen in this clip since his corpse drops right next to tony). Overall Tony did what he was supposed to do here.
+Roy Hemple Trained to shoot until the threat is gone.
He could’ve kicked him the shin and brought him to his knees, or shot him elsewhere, no need to kill him :/
You dumb or what?
He could’ve just shot his right arm to knock the glass away
In the Blue Blood series, a policeman killed a man in self-defense! The journalist told the chief of police what you wrote, and the chief replied:
"If you had one second to save your life what would you do?"
The journalist said: "Let me think..."
To that the chief replied: "Well done, you are dead!"
The journalist was speechless!
The same applies to this situation!! When you are on the brink of death there is no time to think, you have to react reflexively if you want to survive!!
And Tony did just that!!
who agrees that tony should lose some weight reall his getting kinda out of shape
Vincent Capuano shut up ur prob obese as satan
Sumwun Speshal bahahaha lol
