Idk but Ive always thought Alpha 3 was kinda weird and scary with the vast amount of rosters in the game and guys like Adon, Birdie and Cody creeped the hell out of me
Forever in my heart as the best SF game ever made. Nothing has ever come close to capturing the magic and love this game has. The game right behind this one in terms of all that is probably the Cap VS SNK games. Shame we still haven't gotten a part 3... Sigh...
@@raalaa121Nope both are tied, both are the best Street Fighter series. 3 New Generation series and Alpha. When it comes to these two series neither are better than the other.
At first I didn't like this ost because unlike alpha/2 it didn't have reference to original themes but later on I began appreciating it for the originality
For me it's pretty much the whole OST with like like maybe 1-3 that are not as strong as the rest. Cause god damn even the fucking character selection song is a banger.
This game with 2x2 crossover system, speed, supers and combo dynamic of those games (Street Fighter vs Marvel) would be a really, REALLY PERFECT masterpiece!
If you play the PS1 version... That kinda already exists, I think the mode is called "Dynamic Battle" but you have to unlock it, and there's a speed setting of Turbo7
So 8:29 Black Power (no longer a politically correct term to use anymore lol) was technically in reference to M.Bison as his third theme? But considering that Evil Ryu was at that time Romanized as "Black Ryu" in Japan, it is likely that this theme was always meant to be for Evil Ryu... it's just that Capcom had to make content cuts due to the limitations of the CPS2 hardware.
Not sure, but it is funny that it's called "Black Power". And while you say 'anymore', the term Black Power in reference to civil movements in the US has been used since the late 60s, a good 30-some years before Street Fighter existed. It's just that the Japanese developers don't know any of that history.
@@simonmark2611 Guile was present in the "Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper" arcade re-release, that was based on the Dreamcast version. I think most players prefer the original game though.
I don't know, but for me the music of Alpha 3 had a significant drop compared to Alpha 2. SF6 doesn't have the best music in the saga either, but Alpha 3 doesn't have it either, I repeat... in my opinion.
@@flare1547 No way. SFA2 has some great tracks, like Charlie's, but also some crappy recycled themes like Ryu's and Ken's. SFA3's tracks are all original. I think Dan, Rose, Cammy, Mika and Karin got especially great themes, possibly their best of all games.
I remember this game in the arcades in my city around 1998, when I was a kid. Very good times.
youre so lucky.
Always loved alpha3 soundtrack. It has a lot of personality 🤓
Thank you for posting the full soundtrack and one of my favorites in the fighting game genre!
Great game, I played it on my PS One, time flies...good times indeed.
master mega bass...:)
As versões caseiras do jogo tem uma qualidade sonora genérica, muito inferior à dos Arcades... A diferença é gritante no seg 0:51 "boom boom boom" 🤣🤣
I loved the serious vibe of the soundtrack in contrast to the rest of the entries

You were a very very dumb kid, then. Who the hell is scared of Adon, or even Cody? Really? lol.

Nah mate, Third Strike SF3 was the best. THEN this one.

@@raalaa121 That's you're opinion, not mine. SF3 was a commercial failure and not good until it's 3rd re-release. SFA3 was great right off the bat.
tekken stole custom combo with heat system lol
...this IS the third one.

Now I think about it Sakura's theme is kinda similar to 94 women team's one.
Underrated OST. Love almost every track.
Cody's theme reminds me of the gedo high riverbed from rival schools. my favorite themes from both games, really.
CPS2 and SFA2/3 rocks, baby!
Gen's theme!
For me its Karins Stage.
Deejay stage sounds really good too.
For me it's pretty much the whole OST with like like maybe 1-3 that are not as strong as the rest. Cause god damn even the fucking character selection song is a banger.
The did her theme justice in SFV too. At first "this isn't Karin's theme." Then "OMG KARIN THEME!"
Yea her stage music was always fire 🔥
Playing street fighter alpha 3 countless hours. while in the arcades i played street fighter 3 rd strike

"You can't give up! *FACE IT STRAIGHT!!"*
it all depends on your skill

@@EmpanadaDeCaca beat 'em up, guy!
TY!
Funny how shin Akuma theme is in here
There's lot of Street Fighter games but no one compares to this one when it comes to music.
That song Black Power though. OMG that song is good!
Akuma🔥🔥🔥
brilliant game :'3
alpha 2 has a better ost imo by far. Still cool though.
I absolutely disagree.
Dan theme 🤩
Damm, Alpha 3 has the best soundtrack to any SF in my opinion.

Where is Guile's theme?
Guile was only in the console version. This is the arcade soundtrack.

Downgrade from Alpha 2 OST besides a couple tracks (Cody/Guy/Rose/Bison/Chun-Li)
Just hearing this to cleanse the palate after hearing SF6's garbage soundtrack.
Same 💀💀💀
Alpha 3 was my first street fighter so I use this as my standard for music.
