I tried something and really liked it. After washing my face, I layer on layers of toner, maybe add a serum, apply adapalene, and seal it with mineral oil.
Yes vaseline and baby oil actually do a lot for me in the winter 🙂👌 my skin is "porous" I swear, the products evaporate and I have to re apply them without the vaseline

I found some good ones but my god I love just what plain baby mineral oil can do for my face. I feel you on that. I have gotten some bad sun burns (like 3 total), and I'm freaked out about getting skin cancer now. But you can't live your life inside. Do the best that you can to be safe, go to the doctor, and have a good lifestyle. We're all going to be dead some day, but we can do a lot to prolong our lives and reduce our risks of the scarier deaths.

Can you do a video if you have bumps on your scalp from shampoo or conditioner? I've taken out conditioner in my routine, and these bumps are starting to go away. They can be so irritated even by warm water, and hurt for a few minutes after a shower.
I'd recommend seeing a dermatologist for this. I'm not a doctor, but, since you noticed improvement after stopping use of a conditioner, you could be allergic to something in that conditioner; my best guess is the fragrance. Many years ago, I developed a rash on my upper back that I thought was from either the shampoo or conditioner I was using. I stopped using both products, and the rash went away. (The products were heavily fragranced and smelled really good.) But I've never had a problem since then, so I assume it was something in those products. I know of 2 brands of unscented shampoo and conditioner if you want to try such products: Free & Clear and Paula's Choice. Thanks for the video, Cassandra! I wouldn't buy anything from the Kardashians, or any celebrity skincare line. I think these products are almost almost always grossly overpriced for what you get. Also, as you pointed out, many of the Kardashians' products are heavily fragranced, as are many skincare and makeup products at all price points. I have very dry skin from taking Accutane way, way back in the day for cystic acne - yes, I'm an acne (older) cyster. My skin is also sensitive, and I've reacted to scented makeup in the past before I became fanatical about avoiding fragrance and alcohol in skincare and makeup. And I've had rosacea since my late 20s; it runs in my family. Fragrance and/or alcohol in facial products is always a hard pass for me!

I would love to know your thoughts on the company “Banish” that sells an “at home microneedling/ Derma roller”. The owner recommends soaking the roller in alcohol for 5 min before using to “sanitize”. Everything about it makes me scream and die internally, however I want to know your professional opinion. I just recently got certified in micro and nanoneedling and so I can’t possibly wrap my head around that being any kind of safe. However, again would love to hear your thoughts! 💜

I'm not a fan of the Kardashians, not in the least. But to be fair, I think in their minds, the procedures they've had aren't the same thing as surgery. I guess this comes down to different definitions of "surgery." However, I do think they should be candid about procedures they have had, the use of filters, whether or not they're wearing makeup, and special lighting.

I assume this is your evening routine? Because for daytime, sunscreen should be the last layer before you apply makeup.

I'm not a fan of the Kardashians, not in the least. But to be fair, I think in their minds, the procedures they've had aren't the same thing as surgery.
I guess this comes down to different definitions of "surgery." However, I do think they should be candid about procedures they have had, the use of filters, whether or not they're wearing makeup, and special lighting.
