Royal Blood - Lights Out | Bass Cover

Hello everyone! Check out my bass cover of "Lights Out" by ‪@royalblooduk‬! 🤘
This song features some of my favorite contemporary bass lines. Mike Kerr's bass style is genuinely distinctive and gives the song its unique edge.
I used a backing track to keep it real. What you hear is 100% my bass/guitar playing.
🎛️ FX and Music Geek Talk:
For the guitar sound, I played with the bass signal, taking it up an octave and adding fuzz through a guitar amp.
I aimed to replicate the typical Royal Blood bass drop after the chorus and in the final part of the song. I used the Poly Pitch effect in the Line 6 Helix plugin, although Mike Kerr uses the Boss Pitch Shifter PS-6.
