Thank you for editing this wonderful sketch! The longer version could not be understood at all, and it would be a pity to miss out on anything these two marvelous chaps performed! Happy days to you!
I can't remember seeing this. Brilliant. I wonder if a more Midlands accent might have been more authentic. Maybe Ronnie Corrbet couldn't do it or they tried it and it didn't work as well. Whatever the reason this worked.
It's possible they tried. I think the Cockney accent was what they were going for, as a shorthand for 'common' (note the rhyming slang he uses) in contrast to RB's 'theatrical Shakespeare' accent.
Denise - What, didn't you like Two persons of unspecified Gender from a town somewhere in Southern Europe" ? What about "Coriol - that bit where the solid waste exits the body" ?
Puffin I liked all the 2 Ronnies, Only Fools and Horses, Porridge, Open all Hours, Dave Allen. To the Manor born, The good life. I dont understand your comment.
I enjoy the two Ronnies, but it is considering how other people would feel, if people constantly go up to people and said the thing that may seem like a joke, if you went to an Indian and Indian accent, you might find it acceptable, but he could have that done 1000 times a day.
I had to take a time-out. RUclips had the audacity to present me with Nigel Farage spouting political hate-speech as an 'advert', before this video ran. How did the Ronnies get tagged a 'kipper/BREXITER gateway?
As things stand, we all are down a blind alley. Sooner or later, our national appetite for lampooning will surface. There will be no end of comedy material. And a new generation of comedians. A fitting answer to the woke era.
Natural comedians. Their simplicity masked their talent. That is how they won people over. Thanks for working on this.
This was one of the funniest sketches they ever did and after all these years I still laugh watching it, priceless.
Brilliant! This is for all of the English majors out there. This just might be my most favorite "Two Ronnies" sketch!
You are correct Alan Grossman. The simplicity in which a great playwright is depicted is astounding,,because he gets ideas even from a milk man.
4 candles is their best I think
In my day, that was 'O' level English Literature.
Thank you RD, I haven't seen this sketch before, brilliant, pure genius. I'm glad I grew up in the 70s 👍🇬🇧
Absolutely perfect comedy.
I can picture old Will Shakespeare sharing a laugh with these two up there.
The end is simply perfect.
Fantastic....one of the best shows ever !!!! TY!
Two masters in the use of the English language.
Hillarious, nothing comparable to British humour
'Richard the hundredth and eleventh' lol

This was one of my favourites
This clip is divine
Such a great double act thanks for sharing 🤘😎
I thought they were going to mention Shakespeare's famous play: "Lot of bother about sweet FA".
I love this comment. Thanks for the laugh :))
Normally I don’t like people poking fun at Shakespeare but this was pretty funny!
Get over it. The man’s been dead for 406 years. I think he’ll be okay with it.
Good thing Blackadder wasn’t there he’ll be causing so much trouble for Shakespeare as he always does. This sketch is hilarious love it! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Brilliant 👍🇬🇧
Brilliantly clever these two bloke
Just LOVE Shakespeare's jacket++. That would still be 'In Fashion' Today. drop the bloomers, though.
True. They were the greatest. Glad you enjoyed it

This reminds me of "Blackadder Goes Back and Forth", starring Rowan Atkinson and Colin Firth as Shakespeare, hilarious!!
Four Candles .
Find It And Watch It .
Chocolate soldier LOL!!!
It's the original sketch with a bad sound track. I simply edited the video. Thanks
Loved the last bit
Thank God they retired and died before Wokism destroyed them.
Oh Ronnie!
Fantastic
Leave it to RUclips Originals to give us "true" history
How I wished a sketh on D.H .Lawrence

Francis Bacon was nothing like this man😊
Richard the 111! 🤣🤣🤣
Somehow, they would have the right comedy answer. Imagine the the laughs. On the lines of the phantom raspberry blower stuff.
