i love MCU Mysterio, he's such a good manipulator. the way they incorporates his power is soooo clever as well. not to mention Jake Gyllenhaal was a perfect cast for this lol
They did a great job with casting the Lion man hismelf as mysterio😂
I like him too, but you like him because he's a minibulator good manipulator?
Tells me everything I need to know about you.
@@newrealitygaming3933what bro
He's such a sly dog
@@newrealitygaming3933bro what
The Amazing Spider-Man was originally suppose to be part of the MCU and even so lots of people complain about writing in the movies its still a good movie to enjoy
i mean no way home is much better if you watch amazing too
Where did you hear that (not saying you’re wrong just curious)? From what I read, Pascal reached out to Feige after the two amazing spider-man films bombed, and asked for him to help with the spiderman movies. He said he’d only help if the movies were part of the MCU. So that’s why Marvel Studios and Sony started working together on Holland’s films.
Evidence because Sony had no plans to lend Spider-Man into the MCU at that time and when Disney did get the rights they rebooted Spider-Man anyway
The original Sam Remey trilogy was actually proposed to be included in the MCU, as evidenced by an alternate post-credit scene being filmed for the end of the first Iron Man movie that directly referenced the existence of Spider-man. The reason that didn't happen is Sony didn't make a deal with Marvel at the time.
I've never heard that, either. I'll call bs. Sony had no desire to share the character until after those movies failed to succeed. Even then it took an incredible amount of legal work, Marvel makes the Spidey movies for Sony and barely gets a percentage of the cut just to use the character. Sony was only willing to do that after having three poorly received Spidey films in a row.
I love how both Spider-Man movies ended with “What the fu-“ 😂😂. First it was Aunt May, now it’s Peter.
😂😂
Don, try and remember that Peter is a teenager and the vastness of space and the great threat level that he’s witnessed is frightening especially since he watched his more powerful mentor die. Hence wanting lower level villains to fight instead.. A normal teenage life.
In the first Tom Holland Spiderman movie she told them in the end "My friends call me MJ" because her name is Michelle Jones, and in the post-credit scene Aunt May saw Peter entering the house from the window
22:15 You gotta remember Peter is still a naïve kid in this movie, he has a ludicrous amount of responsibility thrust upon him, more than most kids (or adults) could handle. He gives EDITH to beck because he seems like a good guy and “fury” seems to trust him, which is like a massive accomplishment, Peter trusts fury so why wouldn’t he trust beck. People will always believe what they want to believe, and Peter being human (super or not) is still that naïve kid wants to believe he can have a normal life, in this moment he is convinced he can. Why wouldn’t he shift that responsibility to someone he thinks is more capable?
Definitely watch Falcon and the Winter Soldier. It’s a must watch to understand what’s going on in the future.
Exactly
Also several reactors skip already, and I just lost all interest in their journey, and looked for others like this channel.
I'd watch the amazing Spidermans. At least off camera really quick before continuing your MCU journey. You never know if the MCU will make an Easter egg to the other heroes' movies like they love to do. 😊
*spoilers*
they did in spiderman no way home and its not a cameo
@@girlyhamburger3514pretty sure they knew that already and didn't wanna spoil 💀

I feel like Don is skirting around the quintessential Spiderman “With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility” ideology for half of this movie LOL He’s just rephrasing it with more words
for real 😂😂
You don’t HAVE to watch Amazing Spider-Man but we’d love to see your reaction to it! Brilliant movies
he definitely does to get the full NWH experience
I didn’t even think about NWH 😂silly me. I change my statement. Yes, you do need to watch the amazing Spider-Man 😂
Ehh its ok. I wouldn’t say its brilliant
Yeah, he probably should still watch it before No Way Home. Just in case he doesn't wanna get spoiled if he wants to watch it later.
@@mr.patriotjol It is. It's just underrated. Cope
If you can, yes watch the first Amazing Spider-Man. It's a fantastic movie. Amazing Spider-Man 2 not so much but it does get referenced in a certain other movies
I agree
He should know them
He should watch them all before No Way Home for sure
Also watch Morbius and the venom movies they all connected to one of the Spiderman's
I'd say watch "The Amazing Spider-man" and maybe a RUclips recap of 2.
He should watch both of them. The second movie has a really important moment for Peter’s character. Idk why you would say not to watch it.
In this version "MJ" stands for Michelle Jones, "but her friends call her MJ" she said in "Spider-man: Homecoming". But I can understand the mistake.
At first I was like... "eeehhh... sound's kind of a cop out..." But after this movie, "I really dig this MJ, something new and fresh. Both her and peter are really cute together." :)
And like what everyone else, I agree you should watch "The Amazing Spiderman 1 and 2" First before getting to "No way Home". Trust us... It'll be worth it!
I'm so glad they brought back J. K. Simmons as "J. Jonah Jameson" as a "contraversial youtuber" like Alex Jones... talk about a perfect place for him if he were in
the updated version of Spiderman instead of as a Newspaper guy. lol Great reaction and looking forward to the rest. :)
MJ standing for Michelle Jones in this version makes sense since they included the Multiverse being real and all. Tom and Zendaya had such great chemistry on screen that now they are actually dating in real life. Props to Tom haha :)
I personally do recommend watching both "The Amazing Spider-Man". They are gems in their own right and Andrew Garfield is an amazing actor that brings a lot of character to his role as peter parker
Yeah pleas watch the amazing spiderman movies!!!
I know you said you might not watch The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, but trust me you'll want to. There are some huge moments that we'd love to see your reactions to. On top of that, there are a handful characters introduced in this show that play a CRUCIAL role in the next trilogy of phases.
I couldn’t have said it better myself. I mean that.
It’s not my favorite but it should be watched it has good moments
My favorite part of this film was Happy's heart to heart with Peter. Both of them were still mourning the loss of their friend, but Happy also helped Peter come to terms that he doesn't have to become the next Iron Man. Rather, he should just continue being the best Spider-Man around.
Happy also confirmed to Peter that reviving him was the main reason Tony contributed to the time heist to begin with.
Since you’ve completed WandaVision, I strongly advise reacting to Black Widow before going any further. It marks as the official start of Phase 4.
I would also recommend checking out the X-Men films sometime. Most of them are really good.
In other news, the next time you’ll see Nick Fury and Talos will be in their own limited series titled Secret Invasion.
As of now we’re halfway through the series, but you still have a ways to go before you get there.
He's doing it in release order so after WandaVision he should do TFATWS, starts with WV and ends with GOTGTHS
My last MCU movie was probably Doctor Strange 2, and I don’t wanna continue further
@@FawnTheCreator GOTG 3 was good
You 100% need to watch Falcon & The Winter Soldier. Of the ones you mentioned, the only movie/series I think you could miss is "What If..?", but even that has a few connections to future projects. Definitely watch The Amazing Spider-Man movies too. I know all that seems like a big commitment, but I think it'll be worth it
Yes watch the amazing spider man. It’s so underrated!
It really is underrated
Watch the old spider-man’s before you watch No Way Home
Yes yes yes yes yes
@@youraverage2kplayer701 the movies overall were pretty meh
But Andrew's spiderman 🔥 the way he swings 🔥
Honestly, the best spidey imo
i love how mj's scene with peter is actually realistic, its so sweet they are together so they were just having fun on the set
Falcon and The Winter Soldier is actually a great show, so highly recommend watching that. Plus it will also lead into Captain America: Brave New World coming out in Phase V.
Yeah it’s a shame covid messed up the show where it’s a 7.5/10 instead of a solid 9/10. The global virus plot line would’ve made the villains motives so much more clear and understandable.
I can't wait for your reaction to Spider-Man No Way Home. You gotta see Amazing Spider-Man movies first.
Glad you're continuing this journey, can't wait for you to react to the rest of them!
"Falcon & The Winter Solder" is great and it ties directly into the upcoming 4th "Captain America" movie! Please watch it, it's only six episodes!
"Uneasy is the head that wears the crown" essentially just means that those with great responsibilities are burdened with worries that most others don't have to think about.
Can't expect this guy to understand quotes like that. He doesn't sound like he's had much of an education!
@mikelarsen5836 well thats completely unnecessary, not everyone knows everything
You should definitely watch the amazing Spider-Man movies, if just for background and enjoyment, and W to you for putting out content this fast
the falcon and the winter soilder is a pretty good series worth to watch Love your vids btw
Please watch both Amazing Spiderman films and both venom films before no way home, NWH has a really sweet send-off as the last live action spiderman film and its a much more impactful ending if you know what happens in both sets of films
Yes
27:33 You can't blame Peter. We all felt for Mysterios' tricks, and Peter thought he was a good guy who saved the world, he was just being selfless.
the reason he wants a normal life is because there’s so many downsides too it a main one would be you just miss out on doing the things you want and another huge thing would be you have to save ppl all the time and sometimes you can’t save everyone and that can mess with you especially when you lose someone important like how he lost tony after finally coming back
"Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown" is from Shakespeare's play "King Henry The Fourth, Part Two"... it basically means that the person in charge, ie a King, is always worried about things because they're the one in charge, the one at the top, whatever.
4:32 She did say that her name was MJ (Michelle Jones) at the end of homecoming. So she’s not Mary Jane
your reaction to this was hilarious! definitely felt like you were a little harsh on peter in the first half because you didn’t realize he’s 16 and just watched his mentor pass on after he himself was blipped out of existence for 5 years all before he kissed the girl he like. he’s had mid-life crises ever since tony called him, a 15 year old, to be on his team and fight super-powered people he’s never actually seen before outside of tv and magazines lol that’s a lot to put in a kid. then the note on edith read: “to the next tony stark.” i’d be freaking out a bit too
as for skipping around, i think you’re just gonna add more work for yourself later. 20+ movies in, i think it’s clear that they’re keeping things intertwined and connected going forward. what may seem insignificant to you now may be something you’re confused about later when it’s brought to the forefront
I forget how great this movie is sometimes. The holland trilogy really is a perfect trilogy
There is no point to skip this and that because all of the movies and series are connected, you will end up watch all of them if related movies are coming. maybe one or two is skippable now, but eventually they are connected, I'd rather not messing up my own experience
21:08 The phrase “with great power, comes great responsibility” comes to mind, you described it perfectly
I love your Marvel reactions, so you've just earned another sub!
11:27 I’ll make it easy “Uneasy is the mind of a person who owns a crown” usually a King or a protecter is uneasy because either them or their loved ones are always being attacked, therefore their mind/head is uneasy because they are always being attacked or protecting and they have to think of ways to stay alive and keep their people alive. So “Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown”.
“Why has Holland got a cake in that suit? Not that I’m watching” 😭
LETS GOOOOO I enjoy your videos so much
Bro another reaction this is going to be so lit love the content I’m a huge marvel fan ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉
MJ in this isn't Mary Jane, she's Michelle Jones. Same nickname, different character, she's not meant to be the MJ from the comics. She was called Michelle throughout Homecoming, then at the end when she was appointed head of the Decathlon team, she said "My friends call me MJ." :)
As for thinking Peter liked Liz instead, that was (for Peter) like 3 years ago (in reality, like 8 years ago - Homecoming happened in summer/autumn 2016, Infinity War in spring 2018, everyone blipped back in autumn 2023, and this is 8 months after they came back, so summer 2024). He moved on, and now he likes MJ :)
yes on both Amazing Spiderman and Falcon and the Winter Soldier !! both are so much fun !! great reaction as always 💕
"uneasy is the head that holds the crown"
Allow a very brief fable to explain that
One day a peasant walked up to their king and accused them of having an easy life
The king then offered the peasant their crown and throne
The peasant took it immediately and sat in the throne, only to look up and see an axe hanging over them
The peasant asked the king to take it back, but the king refused, saying, you asked for this
Basically, being in a position of power SUCKS, the higher up, the worse it is
Especially when every decision you make will have ripple effects beyond what you can see and affect people you will never know, like Tony
I absolutey love the setup with Peters identity being revealed. Almost as much as I love Loki sitting on the Throne disguised as Odin at the end of Dark World. Lets hope the new Spider-Man movie doesnt fuck such a great setup up.
Yes, please watch both The Amazing Spiderman movies, they've got, in my opinion, some of the best swinging sequences and the best love interest in any Spiderman movie, their chemistry is on point
Also, this is a different universe so this MJ isn't actually Mary Jane the MJ stands for Michelle Jones and ye she did say to call her MJ at the end of homecoming
Sad Fact: This is the first MCU movie “without” a Stan Lee cameo.
i feel like fury's actually a hidden villain, he also seemed like he wanna be Tony stark (like.. giving orders, giving mission, do the cool talking, and so on). he's just that bad, he doesn't even have any superpowers
definitely recommend the amazing spiderman movies! also, don't skip any of the shows!! they're all pretty important and (I would say) enjoyable in different ways, plus they tie in to the broader universe
Make sure to watch the series. Everything is canon to a future project or hero/villain. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is pretty solid series to be honest. I really liked it.
Literally the entire world:
"NOOOO!! TONY!! HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?!!! 😭😭😭😭😭"
"AND STEVE TOO?!! 😭😭😭"
"Oh and Natasha. 😢"
"Oh yeeah that Vision guy's gone too. 😐"
Wanda: (twitches) "I've got an idea for a sitcom..."
In these movies MJ isn't Mary Jane Watson, she's Michelle Jones Watson
I personally wouldn't skip the "Captain America & Winter Soldier" series..... it has some pretty large ramifications for the Marvel world going forward and will introduce you to some new faces that will be showing up in other movies/series.
Pretty much all 4 series: Wandavision, Captain America & Winter Soldier, Loki, and Hawkeye are all pretty much required viewing as they all set up some key details of the Marvel universe going forward. Other movies will reference them and the events, or characters, that they contain. Of all the series, I feel that the "What If..." series is the one that is least required to see to understand what's happening in future projects.
*Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Peter is just a kid, that's the shoes you have to put on when you dissect his behavior. He's done all these things, but he's still just a kid with those selfish ideals. He'll grow up quick, keep watching these trilogies. No Way Home will be his defining moment
Yes, I would recommend watching both The Amazing Spiderman movies before watching No Way Home.
That ending always has me, here’s me bawling with you again!
!9:28 You also have to look at how Peter tried to save the universe just to fail, watch his team die and have his spider sense go haywire as he died, only to come back and have his mentor die in front of him to try save the universe again
I think it is best that you watch the amazing Spiderman before watching the "Spiderman no way home" because it will bring so much more sense to the character of the second Spiderman, but its really on you (honestly the amazing Spiderman is my favorite of all time, it is so much fun and emotional at the same time, I think you won't regret it).
so excited for you to watch no way home i remember going to the cinmea and watching it. it was so good!
cant wait for ur future reaction
19:44 The snapped Spidey went to space, the living Spidey has not been to space. Just... a very wrecked and ravaged area because of orbital strikes from Thanos.
LETS GO ANOTHER MOVIE THIS GONNA BE AMAZING❤❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can’t wait for the shows, oohhh & yes plz watch the amazing Spider-Man, it matters. I’m So ready for more.
You should definitely watch first 3 series, WandaVision, Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Loki. Other series are not really necesarry, they're mostly their own thing but first 3 is very essential, especially Loki since it's the start of the next big MCU saga. Plus you should watch The Amazing Spider-Man movies for No Way Home, it's not necesarry or anything like that but you will probably get confused a lot in NWH if you don't watch them first.
Moon Knight is an absolute must-watch.
I'm not sure any of the shows are mostly their own thing. Everything is going to become essential going forward even if it doesn't seem like it at the moment.
@@carlgibson285 I mean sure but if you haven't watched for example Moon Knight, Ms Marvel or She-Hulk when they tie-in all you're missing will be the characters origin and individual story. But WandaVision and Loki are directly connected to the multiverse stuff, that makes them a part of the main story arc, and FATWS is like the start of the post endgame political stuff and it builds up the next captain america and thunderbolts, it has a lot more affect on the universe compared to the other disney+ shows
@@carmony8756 I guess, although I'd say She-Hulk is much more than just an origin story and has just as many connections to upcoming events as FATWS does (it ties into Captain America 4 and sets up World War Hulk and the upcoming Daredevil show).
YES DOM WATCH THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN!! The first one is awesome and the second isn’t great, but still adds to the story. Also glad to know you watched the Tobey movies!
I recommend watching that other Spider-Man movie that you mentioned off camera and then watch whatever is next as long as it is before “No way home”…
so hyped for wandavison let’s go
Actually, a TON of people know that Peter Parker is Spider-Man....
Mysterio's entire crew knew Parker's identity, because Mysterio was told by Fake-Fury. So, I don't think it was staying a secret much longer anyway.
I personally think, despite the responsibility he has, Peter is completely justified in wanting a break from being Spider-Man and just wanting to be normal for a little while. Think about it:
- Sure, he went to space and fought Thanos, and then did so again in the Battle of Earth (Endgame), so he's seen what threats are out there. But because of that, he has trauma and he's stressed out, everyone deserves a break when they go through something traumatic.
- He's in mourning. ANOTHER of his father figures just died - first his own father, then Uncle Ben, and now Tony. And Tony was someone he knew more personally because he was Spider-Man, AND Tony made both of his suits. He keeps actively avoiding reminders of Tony because he's, again, traumatised by his death; it makes sense he'd want to avoid Spidey-related activities too because of his avoidance of reminders of Tony.
- Even without all of that, being Spider-Man must be stressful. Poor guy deserves some down time once in a while. He may be a superpowered human, but he's just that - human. It makes sense he wants to hang out with his friends and get a girlfriend and just relax.
- A lot of people seem to forget that Peter is a literal child. He's 16-going-on-17 here. It's a big reason Tony initially tried to keep him from doing anything too big in Homecoming, and why Tony tried to send him home in Infinity War.
Because of all of the above, I actually disliked Nick/Talos when he got on at him and asked if he was "gonna step up or not", and said maybe Tony was wrong. First of all, Peter didn't even want to do this, he TOLD you he wasn't ready to properly get back in the field. Second of all, Tony was one of his biggest idols - scratch that, probably his BIGGEST idol. What a low blow to say to a CHILD that his idol and father figure may have been wrong about him.
The falcon and his situation with being captain america is covered in the mcu show the falcon and the winter soldier, I think you could watch that at any time from here on
11:27 uneasy lies the head that wears the crown means that when you are a leader you have a lot of responsibilities that weigh heavily on your mind.
Yeah you should watch The Amazing Spider-Man movies, it doesn't need to be on-camera as the events don't directly affect MCU but you should still watch them because it's still apart of the Marvel Multiverse and you are starting the multiverse saga so it's very important to have knowledge of all the different outcomes in other universes.
Edit: Not sure if you have or not but you should also watch Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man 2 and 3
This guy's accent is unbelievable, 'cattan amurricar' is a pretty creative way to reinterpret that name
I just need to bring this up and you should probably watch the shows as well because they will play a part in the future projects
you also said im not gonna lie like 6 times before the 5 minute mark, if i made that a drinking game i would be getting hammered lol
this is what you do: watch wandavision, the falcon and the winter soldier, loki, what if, hawkeye, black widow, shang chi, eternals, raimi spider-man trilogy, tasm duology, then no way home
"oh yeah and vision... yeah" lmao damn, diodnt even care about him at all lol
YES definitely watch the amazing spider-man series it’s really important for no way home!!! also do you plan on watching the shows? mainly, wandavision, falcon and the winter soldier and loki? they’re also really important to future projects :)
With the other Spider-Man movie series the stakes were a lot lower since they didn’t set up the avengers in their universes or really other heroes like that. So now Tom holland’s Peter wants to spend time as Peter when he’s working with Tony and Shield at points. Whereas in the other movies he worked for himself
Don you NEED to watch the original spiderman trilogy and the two amazing spiderman movies before no way home to fully appreciate it.
America has such a high drinking age because we have too many drunk driving accidents and they don't want a high schooler being like "I'm a cool highschooler drinking and speeding and I'm gonna do something bad." That was a bad way to explain it, but you know what I mean.
Good reaction! It’s important that You should react to the old Spider-Man movies including Tobey Maguire ones, The Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2, and the Venom films before seeing No Way Home.
On drinking in the US at age 21, it's enforced by the individual states, but the federal government tied highway funding to a requirement the states set the age to 21, and they all fell in line. Why 21 though? There were a high number of alcohol related traffic accidents in and near states with a drinking age of 18 vs states with 21 for drivers under 21. In the US you must be 16 to get a drivers license.
both amazing spider-man movies and venom before watching spider-man no way home. Great Reaction ❤

Wicked review. Buff jokes from your reactions
the amazing spiderman movies are a good watch, her name is michelle jones i believe, the nerdy guy working with mysterio was recording everything that was happening with mysterio and used the tech he had to fake him revealing all that about spiderman. i would highly recommend watching the amazing spiderman asap doe

I think the craziest America story I heard was Florida man throws crocodile through McDonald’a window charged with assault
You got to see ,America is different every where you go it just depends on what state it is
Yes you should watch Amazing Spider-Man. Also rewatch Toby's if you can. They don't connect to the MCU in any significant way but there will be Spider-Man Lore in the next movie that the MCU won't bother to explain to you because they assume you've watched Andrew and Toby before. For the sake of not being repetitive.
Definitely watch The Amazing Spider-Man Series next, before continuing the MCU. Trust me, it will make sense later on.
