Keaton (the vocalist) did pass away 2 years ago, but he is on the song. The band are in the process of rolling out singles for an 8 track album/ep of posthumous unreleased music from the band. It will come out this Friday (March 8th) and will be Too Close To Touch's final work ever. They have another song as a solo single, and another with Telle Smith of The Word Alive.
The bittersweet part about all of this is that Noah and Telle were both very very close friends with Keaton, Noah's vocal style is influenced heavily by Keaton's, so having them on the songs to commemorate their fallen friend is heart-wrenching. In the song, Noah's lyrics are clearly talking about Keaton aswell - dude was writing goodbye lyrics to his dead friend on his own song - now that is just pure chills man.

I didn't know that. I knew that many bands knew Keaton as I remember seeing them share on socials when Keaton passed, but I didn't know the degree of how close, but I definitely feel it in this song for sure. I can definitely hear the influence for sure when I think back to when Bad Omens started to where they are now. Noah's lyrics/part are so heartfelt and emotional, but definitely has the take that Keaton's life made an impact! Thank you again for sharing!
it's a very hard song to listen to, i learned about Too Close To Touch 'cause of Bad Omens, this is def a very deep song, we can hear Noah's emotions through his part, may Keaton RIP :(
