  • Shot on the Sony A7siii + Canon FD 70-200mm using Slog-3 and graded in Resolve with Cineprint 16. Just a quick little test of both this camera and the powergrade. If you have any questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them!
    Thanks for watching!

Hey! great footage! I've got an A7IV myself and I was wondering if the workflow with Cineprint 16 is easy or still requires a lot of effort to adjust? and also if you used the full paid version of DaVinci Resolve. Thanks!

thank you! the workflow for cineprint16 is the same for any camera, you just need to change the color space transform input to the correct gamut so that it can apply the look correctly! however, i still did have to make quite a bit of adjustments to achieve a look that i was happy with. also yes i used the full paid version of resolve, but i believe you can still use cineprint16 with the free version, you just wouldn't be able to use some nodes. i hope this helps!

There are specific nodes you have to disable if using cineprint16 v2 in free version.

Hi, Your video is awesome. I have tried to use Cineprint16 with Sony A7Siii footage. But my output video looks very orangish and my wife's face looks pale and old :) What all can one change in DEN+SUB node? Did you do anything in it? Or any other node? I am using FREE version of Resolve. I can send video or screenshots of the photo if that helps. Thanks.

make sure you switch your color input in the CST node

hey Harsha! sorry i somehow missed your comment. for me, the node that made the biggest difference was the WB node and also make sure to adjust the pre and post contrast nodes to get a more natural looking image. unfortunately, i don't know what is unavailable in the free version of resolve but Tom Bolles put out a tutorial of how to use this powergrade over on his channel if you'd like to check that out!
