    Guess the new word for offering last year specs with marginal improvements seems to be “AI”
    AI will definitely play an important role in the future with on device AI models, but as of now, it really doesn’t justify compromising on features most users want, and the sad part is most buyers are being ok with subpar upgrades, and such upgrades don’t even tick the boxes on the fundamentals like good battery, quality screen (pwm), quality cameras etc., just what is latest and greatest today, and such features which wont be used or cared much about by most people.

    I find this crazy. I'm using the S22 Ultra, 512GB Snapdragon, running Android 14. I upgrade once every 3 to 4 years. Let's see what the S25 brings. I see no reason to upgrade. And if I want to use any AI features, I'll just go to a third party like Midjourney or something.

    I think it would have been better if they had given this exynos chip in their fe series...or atleast decrease the price of the phones...i m currently user of s21fe exynos...although i would say its a preety good phone for my use case but i bought it for 35k and its been around 1.5yrs...if i had to pay 70 or 80k or even 50k...i would not buy exynos...knowing that some other guy in us is using same phone with better specs...everyone should need to understand no matter what chip they launch...be it mediatek or exynos or whatever...optimisation is best when it comes to snapdragon...at least as far as flagship segment is concerned...
    Snapdragon is basically intel of smartphone...yes sometimes there can be better chips...but anyday i would get confidence to buy a flagship snapdragon processor...
    Ps.- I m still satisfied with my phone though...apart from some random bugs and battery life...

    Your just complaining about Samsung and pushing Chinese made phones. You are paid by xi jing ping to complain about Samsung. Samsung s24 is a good phone and it does not need high end specs and camera sensors to make beautiful picture. It has good software to take care of take.

      I am not paid, but you are brain washed.
      "Samsung doesn't need high end specs" but you are brain washed enough to pay high end price.
      Galaxy S20 : 12GB RAM, 4000 mah battery, QHD screen, camera sensors with larger pixel size and Micro SD expansion.
      4 years later:
      S24: 8GB RAM, 4000 mah battery, (S21,22,23 all had smaller batteries), FHD screen, camera sensors with smaller pixel size and no microSD expansion.. base model 800 usd with only 128GB storage!!!!

      @@techstation365 your missing the big picture Samsung is saving their money by lowering the specs that most people will never use and instead investing more money into software. This is the reason why the iPhone is so successful because software not hardware. Micro sd card make your phone slow as a snail. We have to keep in mine the Samsung is our only non chineese and USA alternative so we as a people should trust what their doing insteading of complaining of “high prices” when iPhone more expensive. You have to think in terms of iPhone instead of comparing other android phone. Samsung made huge improvement in software when then switch from touchwiz to UI. This was only possible by lowering the specs and getting rid of that as card slot that make phone slow as a snails. In conclusion stop madness and come clean and admit that you are xi jing ping s@& slave.

      All the information is openly available in the internet for you to judge for yourself.
      Atleast have the basic knowledge to understand how the core hardware works.
      If you are a car enthusiast, you can already tell how a new car will perform just by looking at it's specifications and engineering setup.
      And I am an Android Enthusiast past 12 years.
      Plus you tell me all the big youtubers who have the phone - did a single one mention that Galaxy AI is a rebranded Google Gemini? Did anyone say that these features are not free forever?

      you need to test before judge, I'm not a samsung fan boy, but if I want to review about something at least I will test it first, I also curious about how exynos 2400 performance, that's why I look on internet and see how they judge after test it ruclips.net/video/TzqB339VqSA/видео.htmlsi=yfb45UoxzK8q0fer

      @@merahputiihDude don't you see?! SAMSUNG nerfed the Snapdragon 8 gen 3 in the Galaxy S24 Ultra to make the Exynos 2400 look less bad! Don't you know that other phones exist apart from Samsung???
      The S24U is the worst SD8G3 phone with little upgrade over the SDG2, so now you compare the 800usd Exynos 2400 S24 with real actual good SD8G3 phones like Oneplus 12, Iqoo 12 which are far cheaper as well... or even compare to Vivo X100 Pro with Dimensity 9300 which is also cheaper.
      Don't just point out one video, Exynos has ruined phones since 2019, there will be a lot of tests needed to even make people consider it.
      Also if Exynos is so good, Samsung would've used it in the S24 Ultra as well! Why didn't they?

    Not gonna talk about camera performance as Samsung may have improved on that but I've seen some quick tests and it doesn't look good.
    Other hardware upgrades are negligible other than 7 years of updates and a 5x optical camera. On the cloud AI upgrades will be non-existent by 2025 so who cares about them now anyway?
    Man... Samsung fell off hard. Anyways, love my S23U but will not switch to a Samsung because hardware = software and want both to be high-end.

    • @techstation365
      @techstation365  9 месяцев назад +2

      True, at this price we deserve both high end hardware as well as software, not just one.
      Definitely not worth upgrading from an S23U. And S23/23+ users may not even want to upgrade due to 24/24+ only available with Exynos.

    • @techstation365
      @techstation365  9 месяцев назад

      Hello! I wish I could review it but I'm based out of India and I don't get review units from brands.
      But I went through the specs of the tablet and to be honest, it's good. But I have a limit that I can spend on tablets with Mobile OS and that's actually 500 pounds. I don't find spending any more than that worth it because then you are in the territory of thin and light laptops with great screens.
      I see the Matepad costs a whopping 1000 euros which is a lot and I feel at this price I personally would buy something like a Lenovo Legion Go or something like the ROG Flow X13 2-in-1 Gaming laptop.
