Nice overview and as an instructor with flawless steps. Not that of going back after the steps are made "It looks better like this, I change that." I think the tweaking of the settings at the end of the instructions gives people the idea of what a node does which encourages people to just fiddle with it and see what they are doing. For me it still feels overwhelming of what nodes to pick. Perhaps a challenge is to make a procedural material that makes an existing object that has already got a procedural material in place or a texture and make it to glow. That might look harder than the procedural lave.
still love these tutorials. i have learned so much from following along on these. i'm at the point where i can predict what the next node you add is more ofthen then not which is a great confidence booster when trying to make stuff on my own. :) aslo i can't wait to try out your robot tutorial. animation is why i started trying to learn blender in the first place.
For smoke simulations I believe you need to use a different method for the material. Actually I think that on default, smoke simulations come with a material already on them when you add the smoke sim.

You are a Legend under the Procedural Materials on Blender RUclips ! 🤩😉 Keep going ... !
thank you 🙂
Voronoi and Noise texture applications feel infinite when it comes to procedural materials. its nuts!
yeah!
Im a fan of your channel, everything looks so good, but yet so simple to understand! Keep it up with the good work sir
thank you!
I really learned how to use nodes effectively from these procedural material tutorials, you are an amazing teacher
thanks!

i love you Ryan King Art
thanks!
Excellent thanks
welcome!

👍
Is niiice!
thanks!
i have a question with one of your oldest videos, the one with cloud material, how can i make the material work on the smoke simulation?
For smoke simulations I believe you need to use a different method for the material. Actually I think that on default, smoke simulations come with a material already on them when you add the smoke sim.
Nice 🙂👍
thanks 🙂
The thumbnail of the bronze lion, reminds me of the lion statue, in the town, I live nearby in the England, expect the statue is stone not bronze.
cool!
Its a real statue might be the same one. I know the artist who scanned the statue is in Europe
It's in Vienna
Don't say it, Ryan will make a cobblestone one.
You've proven yourself as real human! 😀 (See the describtion of the model)
what do you mean?
@@RyanKingArtYou are definitely none of this AI generated influencers, otherwise you wouldn't have been allowed to use the model 😀
@@Velnias75Oh haha I see. yes I'm a real human being 😂
nice =))
thanks
Help, my Voronoi Texture only gives me Scale and Randomness values, I can't find the Detail, Roughness, and Lacunarity values anywhere
make sure your using the latest blender version.
@@RyanKingArt Thank you, I followed the instructions ignoring Lacunarity and the result was still incredible! Thanks for such a comprehensive tutorial
Hi, what program do you use to record your computer screen?
OBS
@@RyanKingArt thanks!
How to make a cake tutorial
cool tutorial idea 👍
