I would like to think that if the entire Jedi council was there he probably would have chose Yoda, ObiWan and Plo-Koon or even just bring like five or six Jedi with him
You're exactly right. In the novelization, this was what happened. Unlike the movie, Mace decided to leave anakin just because he was incredibly distraught after finding out palpatine was a sith lord to the point where he was shaking and could barely mumble the sentence out. The other jedi were either left at the temple to guard it in case palpatine retaliated or were at another planet fighting
Should of brought shaak ti, yoda, plo and plo koon. No one would of died or even luminara wouldn’t have been a bad pick with her soresu/makashi skills.
The Outer Rim sieges were going on, all of those Jedi except for Shaak Ti were off world, what he actually should have done is alerted the rest of the council and begun an evacuation of the temple before he went to arrest Palpatine
Wasn’t plo koon and yoda on a mission mace should’ve brought Shaak ti she’s immortal and cin dralig and luminara and or maybe anakin they where the only power jedi at the time 💀
To be fair it’s not like the Jedi of this era had experience fighting the Sith. Only Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Yoda had any real long term interaction with Sith Lords at the time. They were in hiding for 1000 years and Jedi and Sith don’t fight the same way even if they use the same forms of combat.
the edit did them dirty, made Palpatine look like an amateur but Fisto, Tiin, and Kolar even worse, my theory to fix the scene would have been to increase the playback speed of the film and removed the long pausing facial shots to show how relentlessly fast Palpatine was in that fight, as it is they basically just stand around to die.

I feel that a big reason was because majority of the other Jedi were currently in occupations with their respected clone legions, scattered across the galaxy.
I think it’s cos Sideous may of had what Luke had when he sees things in slow motion so that helped him a great deal when striking them donw
Come on man, don't name them, they'll think they're people... :D
Mace really brought Kit Fisto and 2 cardboard cutouts to fight the most powerful Sith lord in the galaxy
😂😂😂
Bad writing. I remember laughing at how slow sidious was and still killed them so easily
He should’ve brought Shaak ti (she’s immortal) and cin dralig (he knows all 7 forms)
And were slaughtered within minutes aside of windu
Minutes? You mean seconds
He actually don't even have to choose there were almost no jedi masters on coruscant left so they were probably only one left there available to help
Pretty sure they just happened to be there
Ryloth, so does that make The Last Star Fighter fall into the Star Wars universe?
Should of brought shaak ti, yoda, plo and plo koon. No one would of died or even luminara wouldn’t have been a bad pick with her soresu/makashi skills.
The Outer Rim sieges were going on, all of those Jedi except for Shaak Ti were off world, what he actually should have done is alerted the rest of the council and begun an evacuation of the temple before he went to arrest Palpatine
Wasn’t plo koon and yoda on a mission mace should’ve brought Shaak ti she’s immortal and cin dralig and luminara and or maybe anakin they where the only power jedi at the time 💀
@@Deity_devil Luminara was on kashyyyk in legends so that’s where she probably was in canon and Anakin couldn’t be brought for obvious reasons
@@Septimus-037 well the other people I listed could’ve been a good choice
To be fair it’s not like the Jedi of this era had experience fighting the Sith. Only Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Yoda had any real long term interaction with Sith Lords at the time. They were in hiding for 1000 years and Jedi and Sith don’t fight the same way even if they use the same forms of combat.
Tbf, I think they did kit fisto kinda dirty in episode 3 lol..
the edit did them dirty, made Palpatine look like an amateur but Fisto, Tiin, and Kolar even worse, my theory to fix the scene would have been to increase the playback speed of the film and removed the long pausing facial shots to show how relentlessly fast Palpatine was in that fight, as it is they basically just stand around to die.
He should have brought one more master. No matter how powerful you are the numbers game would catch up to you
He also tried to contact Yoda and obi wan but couldn't reach either one
Makes it seem so unrealistic they just get killed like that
Mace actually defeated the emperor and was close to killing him, until Anakin intervened. Mace was familiar with force lightning Yoda seemed surprised
Mace should’ve brought plo koon. Plo who had beaten Yoda in lightsaber combat would’ve easily taken down palpatine along with mace
That’s not canon and plo lost to savage opress in a canon comic he has no chance either and anakin called him his equal in the beginning of the war by revenge of the sith anakin was the best duelist behind yoda and mace even Lucas says those 3 were the best
@@tvvistedv3nom26 canon nerfs everything 😭
@@viz4032 Well apparently him beating yoda was never canon not even in legends it was just in that wii game and technically speaking legends is alternate universe canon Lucas only considers 1-6 and in between true canon
I mean... Plo Koon kinda got shot down by his own clones, so yeah... Impossible
Supposedly the _force scream_ he induced at the start of the conflict allowed him to just go Super Saiyan on the spot and blur onto them.
Because backwriting.
The original skit for the fight was so much better. Damn Lucas and his changes. Sassee, kit, and agen still die but not as quickly.
Uh, no. Windu didn’t “assemble” any team. He just heard the news from Anakin and walked into a ship that happened to already have those three.
I still think his name should have been Samul Windu
what comics are these and how do i read them?
From which comics does it come from?
Why did Mace Windu choose them?
They were the Star Wars equivalent of the red shirts of Star Trek.
If it weren’t for Fisto Mace windu would have died at the start kit fisto made sure to protect him when sidious could have killed him become he knew mace windu has the best chance to kill Palpatine
Kit Fisto-🐐
They were a match for Sidious, or well Windu was.
I think they were a match
imagine saying Darth Sidious would've won against Mace without anni's help Lmaooooo
The real reason palpatine killed 3 jedi without any effort was because it was budget friendly to do a 1 vs 1 than 4 vs 1😂
Unfortunately they had to make the three other Jedi die faster to make the movie the right length. In the original script I believe Kit Fisto specifically lasted longer then he did.
Because it was in the script
If Mace had Plo Koon with him…
😑
I'd say it was enough for Sidious but not Sidious and Anakin
I mean, the team stood a chance. Mace was about to fucking end sidious.
Characters like Kit Fisto are poorly represented because of the limited film making. If only they had a better way to show the raw power of Sidious, his capability to speedblitz Jedi masters
Why is one of his horns gone in the comics but not the movie? Does it grow back?
This team also couldn't even do what took a girl to finish, Rey, when she finally balanced the force and ended Palpatines dark grip on the galaxy.
