I just came on here to find a good placement for a little tattoo and I was smiling the whole way through the video, Jo is so lovely so now subscribed to everything 😂❤
This was a perfect video! I’m looking to get my second tattoo and I’ve had the idea of what I’ve wanted for what feels like forever but I haven’t been ready to push go on the placement!
Great video. I’ve been struggling with this and wonder if you could help me. I want to get a tattoo of the three legged dog of the alice in chains album in the outer forearm, where should the body and face be positioned? It’s in the left arm and the body of the dog is on the left and the face is towards the right but looking at the front.
Hello! Great tattoo idea for starters! And I think, that will look great. A general rule is for whatever it is to be “facing” forwards, the head of the dog is facing forwards but the direction of the body should be going forwards. But, do what looks right! Get you artist to print out both ways, you’ll quickly be able to tell which one will look good 😊
Hey Jo! What a great presentation. Thanks so much! I have a two quick questions for you regarding triangle direction placement. Sorry for the long story, but here it goes: I have gender dysphoria, I'm in my 60s, I have not transitioned, and I'm working on my left forearm. I truly wish I lived in your area because I just feel connected after viewing the video. So, would it be alright to contact you via your website to show you just two pictures of what I'm considering to get done? And secondly, I want to get a triangle with an equal sign in it done right on my wrist (palm side). Which way does it point to signify gender equality? Toward my palm or away from it? Thanks so much and I look forward to hearing from you. Peace.
Hey! Thank you so much for reaching out. Please do send me your ideas! Info@jochastney.com. When it comes to the triangle, I would have it so the flat side goes along your wrist and point up your arm. But it’s is up to you, you know what it means and that’s what is important. You have to be happy with how it looks. Good luck on your journey 🖤

That’s great to hear thank you ☺️
Jo is literally the best tattooist in the world. End of discussion. Also, the most BEAUTIFUL person.
Thanks Tim!! 😊
Thinking of getting my first tattoo and gathering information so his video was very good.
Thank you ☺️
Thank you I was afraid to ask to move my first tattoo. Makes me feel better I just didn’t want to annoy my artist.
It’s only annoying if it’s moved 30 times!
It’s on you for life, an extra few minutes for them is nothing.

I’m so glad you liked it and I hope it was helpful for your next tattoo 😊
Keep the insights coming !
Great video! Would love to see more content from you.
Great breakdown Jo! I’m starting to have a rethink now 😂
You still have time to think! 😊
Little late here, but thank you, this was really helpful! ♡

Wait my tattoo artist told me if the tattoo has a face then it needs to face inwards! Did he make a mistake?!
