Zao is one of those bands that it doesn't seem to matter how long they're around, they just keep putting out fantastic music.

I feel like this song really spans the entire catalogue from Where Blood and Fire onwards.
The riffs, production, drumming and Dans vocals are reminiscent of all past Zao. And I'm here for it.

This is easily one of the best albums of Zao's career. An epic return to form.
Zao, the band, is itself an example of the Ship of Theseus thought experiment because all of the band members have been replaced over time since Zao first formed in the early 90's.
That riff at the end is NASTY! You dirty, dirty boys. Can’t wait for the album to drop!

This is super tight sounding literally controlled chaos... love the drony dark tones and the guitars sound sweeeet... gives me the late 90s early 2000s feels.....
I've been a Zao fan since I was 14, back in 2003. I had found Blood & Fire and it was like nothing I'd heard before. I've gotten a lot older and listened to thousands of other bands at this point... But this song right here is why I still love this band. What a great fucking track.

Zao albums are always titled in a way that matches whatever major change is going on in my life when they drop. Case in point, I recently moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama - home of the Crimson Tide - for a job.

every metalcore band from the last 15+ years should pay zao royalties.... but what I love is no matter what tyoe of success these guys could get and 100% deserve, they will always be ZAO and make amazing music.

Absolutely proof positive as to why ZAO are one of my all time favorite metal bands (along with Entombed & Overkill)... caustic sonic assault with inspiring intellectual elements... a sure thing!!
I think this is a reference to the fact that the members of Zao have changed so many times that no original members remain. Its interesting how in spite of that, they have retained the majority of the bands signature sound and in some ways even evolved beyond it.
Dude, the core of zao and the shape they are since 24 years are all there, zao start to be who they are with dan, russ and scott.

This is criminal that I’ve missed this album for years. Last I remember they followed up Funeral with an overly raw album of really good songs, rereleases and compilations, and now Crimson has just been chillin at the bottom of my algorithm?
Why aren’t bands paid at least 50% of profits for all time? The band created something timeless, the labels got the music to the public once. Great job. Here’s your one time check
