I love this area for camping. The view is amazing. I have camped all along that cliff line. There are some great spots. Those are radio and TV towers. The cell tower is in the canyon right below your camp. If you go past these towers on the road you will come to more towers that are the same nature as these. You access Juniper Flats Rd from the Divide (the party spot). Just watch the ruts after a hard rain.
Thanks for the positive video focusing on Juniper Flats located near Bisbee, AZ, my home town, but it’s pronounced Juniper, like the beautiful trees that grow in the area!
Thanks for another great video, Mark. Especially, thanks for showing the road in and such so those of us so-inclined can make a good decision as to whether our rigs are suitable for trying to visit.
That's a nice campsite. I really appreciate your showing us so much detail in terms of location, road condition, and alternatives. Another great one, Mark.
Hey Mark just want to say thank you for your videos man I live in Arkansas too and I love how you give directions to the places you go thanks and keep up the good work
Mark, thanks for the coordinates. We are currently in a nearby site to get more level. Feels like we're on top of the road. Thanks so much for sharing. Great views!
We really enjoy the spots you pick. We took a trip to Arizona and used a lot of your spots for camping. We are heading to the Ozarks later this summer and will be looking for your spots there too. You camp like we like to camp.
Great view, great spot, another great video. I believe your Air Force, Hoo Ra brother. Enjoy, six more years until retirement for me. I camp some now, but plan to do some dispersed then.
Hi Mark. Enjoy your laid back videos and admire all the time you devote to helping others to find a nice camp spot. I know you are a pretty private guy but maybe you could tell me what your rate and duties were in the Air Force? I am a Viet-Nam era veteran and was in The U.S. Navy, enlisted in 1964. I was all set to go to Lackland AFB and then the Navy recruiter talked me in to being an anchor-clanker. LOL !!
I went through basic training at Lackland in 1994, spent 20 years in the Transportation/Logistics career field. Thirteen deployments overseas, five of which was to Iraq, others to Saudi Arabia, UAE, South Korea and Kuwait. I retired in 2014 as a Master Sergeant.
I love that i get to listen to hank hill tell me about epic camp sites in prime form. hahaha sorry i had to, love your videos! im gonna be here camping around april
Always love your videos, especially the motorcycle tours. That is one beautiful place. I've camped quite a bit west of there at Las Cienegas NCA, love the Ft. Huachuca /Bisbee area. Stay safe Mark.

I'm actually back in Arkansas, go here Wednesday. I'm having engine troubles, dealing with my turbo (underboost). I checked into getting it looked at in Buckeye, couldn't get me in for three weeks. I wasn't about to sit around waiting. I have an appointment with a dealership here in Arkansas 2Feb.
@@DispersedCamperMan Well crap! I was looking forward to meeting you at the TC rally. I'm going to head over toward Nrisbee to your BLM sight there and check out the m8ne. Looks really neat.
Hey Mark, I'm camped at your spot. Got here later in the dark. You didn't mention it's freaking freezing at night. Gonna try for the mine tour tomorrow. I wonder if they have camera restrictions. With my new 400 AH of lithium batteries, I can run the furnace all night worry free. I'll have 85 percent battery in the AM.
You probably already know, but they didn't have camera restrictions. How'd you like the tour? I'm currently back in Arkansas. I was having truck problems with my turbo, and will not be making the truck camper rally. Have fun for the both of us!
@@DispersedCamperMan hey Mark. I saw the big pit. Did not go on the tour. I did a lot of touring around the area though. That cliff site sure is something at night. Hi, I was looking over your playlists and didnt see any on your rig and set up any back stories on your thought process. Im going on road in about a year, don

Great timelapse and music. Incredibly scenic site. Have you made a "trip planning" video? Map use, coordinate calculation, other considerations like water, etc. Just a thought. I know I'm interested and am sure others are as well. Thanks, Mark! Keep them coming.
I've heard about site which were always accompanied by warnings about how steep the road is. We have a Diesel 4WD so that does not worry me but those switchbacks might be tough pulling a 30 ft TT. So I think I'll pass on this one. If you want to try cliff camping give the Moki a try, 2000 ft drop.
The switch backs were crazy going up the mountain side for sure. I've been wanting to go to Moki, but it's always way to cold for me when I was in that area. Thanks for watching!
Hey buddy quick question I’ll be rolling out next week making my way south, you think a 24 foot class c rv on e350 chassis get up that road to those sites? Also be towing 6x10 enclosed trailer for my GSA thanks
I wouldn't know about your class C, I've never drove one. If it can handle a sustained steep climb up a dirt road, you should be ok. The sites up there aren't very big, I would recommend trying to get the site I was at. Hopefully it will not be taken when you get there. Hope this helps.
Hi Mark, have you ever been camping in Yuma? There's supposed to be free camping just north of Yuma along the Colorado River and by a reservoir. Just wondered. Really liked this vid, nice quiet areas.
You raise an interesting question re: the quarry. Why don’t they fill with water? There’s appears to be no drainage. Did you get an answer to that question while you were there??
I don't know why it hasn't filled up. I'm assuming maybe not enough rainfall or to porous rock which will not all it to hold water. It would be definitely neat if it was filled up with water. That would be a very deep lake. LOL
Yep. Weve been up there and the views are outstanding!! Great place.

Some times you can be too close to cell towers and your speed is in the dumps. The best signalis a beam too high over our head.
True, while looking at google maps, it was saying they were FM radio towers. So I don't know.
