Curic Space is a free extension from developer Curic that can quickly and easily help you space objects inside your SketchUp models, and can save you a ton of time instead of you having to space objects manually.
One thing that can be a bit time consuming inside of SketchUp is if you need to quickly space out a number of different objects. It can definitely be done, but there’s a lot of manual aligning you need to do. However, with Curic Space, spacing out objects can be really easy.
Simply select the objects you’d like to space, select an axis you’d like to space them along, then type in a spacing for the objects. Your objects will then be spaced based on the value you typed in.
Note that you can set your objects either to be spaced by object centers or by the object origin by tapping the tab key.
Another thing I like about this extension is that the transformations are live, meaning you can type in different values and hit the enter key and the objects will move as many times as you’d like.
Note this this extension partners really well with Curic Align if you want to put objects in a row, then space them.
You can also select a single object, enter a number of copies, and type a value to create copies of an object as well.
With a bit of work, you can use it to place objects along a slope as well.

It's like You read my mind with these :) I've found myself judging all educational content by the quality of your videos and even the commercial content doesn't compare. I was very sad to find that Your course is locked and there were no dates announced yet - is there any possibility of getting new openings OR perhaps a buy-in option for patrons from certain tiers? To be honest Your channel is the only reason I'm getting on patreon since to be getting so much great content for free feels almost dishonest :) Thanks for everything!

Hi, Justin. The shelves you use in the second half of the video are actually an Ikea design. It was something that I planned to make myself in Sketchup but I see someone has beaten me to it.
I have seen these in the background on two different sitcoms. A British show called Peep Show that ran from 2003-2011 that I don't think you would have seen but then you can also see them in the bedroom of Dennis Reynolds in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
I owned a set of those from about 2008 until I left the UK in 2014 when I passed them on to a family friend. When I bought them I mistakenly picked up one box that contained only the wooden part and had to drive back the next day to buy the metal upright pieces, this wouldn't have been too bad but I lived more than 30 miles from the store.

It is awesome extension. One question i want to space evenly 75 mm rectangular beams, but position center / origin give the same results. I mean the distance that i type is the distance between the beam center to beam center, and i want to make somehow to type the distance between beams. You can make a quik video showing that tab button how is it working. I get the same result with position center / origin. What i do wrong?
