    Is every seed produces phenolic compounds? I have prepared the germination of seeds of mustard,gram etc but didn't seen the brown colour in media .
    BTW in the lab u r alone working!! What r u doing bro?

    A question sir, with the addition of the activated carbon, what happens to the PGRs needed in media?
    Do the Auxins, Gibberellins & Cytokinins not get absorbed?
    Also can you please provide the papers for us Novices, thank you sir

      Yes, a little amount of hormones do get absorbed. Thats why we keep changing media every week. And we stop adding charcoal after few cycles.

      Just autoclave for decontamination and wash with slight detergent and rinse with distilled water and dry it in hot air oven at 50 - 60 degrees for a day. Watch my video on how to avoid contamination for more ideas

      The water we use to prepare the solution might have some contaminants. So its advised to autoclave
