He played in Daytona and I lived 20 min away in Deltona. We both graduated the same year. Needless to say his school and mine played each other quite a bit at that time and I was able to watch him play from high school all the way to his Hawks tenure currently.
I played against him high school and to prove to someone. I looked it up , I'm #30 on this high light reel for Deltona high. Naw I didn't get dunked on but I got a good view of his " UPS ". He still jumping out the gym.

My cousins told me to buy tickets for the basketball game and we didn't have to go to class for the rest of the day, can you imagine that! The lines were out to the streets for regular people but students got our seats first and this is what I looked at for his junior and senior year. He averaged 7 dunks a game that were dunk competition worthy but was still a team player NEVER a ball hog! Half man half amazing Daytona Beach finest Vince Carter!
