Buying a CHEAP Kubota Lawn Tractor

We just bought a cheap Kubota GR2100 Lawn Tractor. It's equipped with a 21hp diesel engine, hydrostatic transmission, 4 wheel drive, front hydraulics for a snow blower or snowplow attachment. A year ago I bought 2 John Deere riding mowers for $900. One pooped out pretty quick - I think it has a bad head gasket or perhaps needs piston ring. The other lasted a year and has now crapped out. I wish I could get them running as smooth as you are able 😂.

@@schneiderandson gt262 (roughly 1998) and 185hydro (roughly 1988). Both have the Kawasaki fc540v. But I cannot get them running. That’s what I get for believing I can be a backyard mechanic. 😂😂😭😭😭

That kubota new was a 10000 dollar machine. Amazing engine good hydro. They work good on hills. I’m Suprised the guy didn’t buy the bagger. It wouldn’t been better with the bagger than the pull behind

The hood is a common complaint on this mower , the heat off the engine and exhaust weakens the plastic hood and breaks off at the mounts. Hope the steering cables never break , this throws the trans out of synch and tears out a thrust bearing. This is probably what your hydraulic leak is. Operated one for 15 yrs and right now is a lawn ornament.
