    [LYRICS]
You made me see right past myself
    well beyond my fears
    Realized I'm synchronized
    far beyond my years
    I'm so geared into them
    I serve unto their souls
    Now that I'm addicted
    my hunger only grows
I'm a Child of the Damned
    I follow where I go
    Rigging to the cross
    as holy as a whore!
I'm just a child of the damned
Witches' coven the time is come
    for those sabbatical years
    Revelation is the message
for all in all to hear
    Prophets slayed mankind arrayed
    into a mass submission
Evil's here and the lord of hell
    gives you the proposition!
I'm a Child of the Damned
    I follow where I go
    rigging to the cross
    as holy as a whore!
I'm just a child of the damned
    Give away your life's goals
    your meaning and ambition
    It means nothing to you
    after all it's superstition!
    Do not be afraid
the world is near the end
is it better to rule in hell,
than it is to serve in heaven?
I'm a Child of the Damned
    I follow where I go
    rigging to the cross
    as holy as a whore!
I'm just a child of the damned.

I went to high school with the bass player Dave Watry and played in a band with his Brother. Warlord is very underrated.

Alongside DIO Warlord are the fathers of Power Metal. Great stuff...should have gotten more recognition. 🤘🤘🤘

I think it's just as awesome today as it was in 1983 - that's how melodic heavy metal should be!💯🤘😎

Heavy Metal is as melodic as this. You probably only listened to the wrong bands

I don't know if you read/understood that correctly. I meant the following:
'I think it's just as great today as it was in 1983 - that's how melodic heavy metal should be!'
I'll write it again, then you can read it again if you didn't understand it while reading:
'I think it's just as great today as it was in 1983 - that's how melodic heavy metal should be!'🤣

@@mgdarenz Yes, very sad. I don't know anything yet about it other than seeing Giles Lavery's post and I got the message but wanted to process it. My growing up days in the 70's and 80's especially early 80's with Warlord, Queensryche, Metal Church, Yngwie, Quiet Riot, Blizzard of Oz, etc. I'm seeing my music idols pass on and it makes me sad, so I crank it up.

They weren't really a "band." It was more like "William Tsamis and Mark Zonder's recording project." They were the two members, and everyone else rotated through the group.
Don't feel bad, I missed them the first time around as well, and I was totally in their target audience.

What do you mean? This version is from the ''And the cannons of destruction have begun'' video+lp credited to Damien King II. Didn't Rick sing on that album? Did your father sing all the vocals without getting credit? I like your father much more than Rick, wish they had stayed together for more years and albums, great voice! Please share a link of any of your fathers bands/projects after Warlord, I'd love to hear more from him
