That's my personal favorite and I love that they battled through Agni Kai!
@@Hillbot98 It showed how far they've gone from the opening episode of Book 2. That time, we saw Zuko attacking wildly while Azula calmly dodged his attacks. In the finale, Azula was the one attacking wildly while Zuko was calm and countered her attacks with ease, until she shot lightning Katara's way.
@Graham Damberger yeah definitely! It was an awesome turn of events and I agree with people saying Zuko has the best story arc for his character. If Katara wasn't there, Zuko would have redirected that the lightning strike but that showed how much of a hero he is and what a good heart he has! Azula would have been surprised to find out that Zuko learned how to redirect lightning just like their father was.
Yeah, the last Agni-kai is the best.

Every fight is astounding (Aang vs Ozai for sure), but "The Last Agni Kai" is just another level. Music, art (colour of flames especially), emotions are unspeakable beautiful. Forever number one fight for me.

all toph scenes are all toph notch, she invented metal bending and literally the only charater that ever beat, taught, and shown 2 avatars how to fight.

For me, Zuko vs Azula was the best fight scene.
Man this show never gets tiring the feels always come back when this show is mentioned. And the fact each nation and character have a different choreography when fighting is just phenomenal.

What else could #1 have been? The grandeur, the spectacle, the choreography, the whole world at stake. Sure, the last Agni Kai may have been the more personal battle, but in the end, the legend of Avatar Aang just wouldn't be complete without is duel against Ozai.
#1 should've been zuko/azula. aang fucked up when he stopped the avatar state from dispensing justice.

Avatar:The Last Airbender (2005 -2008) is FOREVER my "Top 10 Favorites of ALL-TIME".
I remember watching The finale when Aang fights Ozai when I was a kid. Still to this day that fight gives me the same amount of thrills and emotions just like it did when it first aired.
It’s no wonder why The show is considered one of the greatest animated shows ever made.

It was such a PHENOMENAL series. I use to watch it with my son and ALONE too. The last fights were awesome.
Aang vs Ozai was such a great fight but my favorite by far is Zuko vs Azula…..the music, graphics…just amazing and probably one of my favorite fights of any show!

I think my favorite is 11, when Paku saw his reflection, he realized he needed to start taking this girl seriously, or he was going to get hurt!
All this Elemental bending really makes me wish that their was a crossover between avatar and ninjago (i mean the Main characters are literally elemntal masters)

Avatar The Last Airbender is certainly among the greatest TV shows ever, just like Avatar masters every element, the show masters every genre, it's comedy makes you laugh, it's tragedy makes you cry, action, thriller, drama, romance... it has everything, and every aspect done masterfully.

I remember watching a RUclips video showcasing Toph's fight with the Earthbenders in the ring, and all throughout the comments, so many people were utilizing the joke: "The Boulder takes issue with that comment." It was funny!

Other then the fact that piando was the greatest sword fighter in the world and a living legend one thing to remember is that sokka only trained with him for like a day maybe 2 at most and he was able to keep up with a legend and he was 15-16 no wonder sokka became a legend himself when he was older

I'm sure that both Zuko and Katara had figured that Azula was gonna pull off a dirty trick as usual. But if only Zuko had told Katara to stay directly behind him, then Azula would've never found the chance for that cheap shot. So I still say that Zuko is the Winner of this Fight.
Zuko and Azula trumps any and all fights: the power, the emotion, the music, the visuals; 13 years of unsaid resentment finally spilling over into all our glorious sibling combat.
Even though I was late to the party, I really loved this cartoon and enjoyed every second of all of it! :)

Yes, Aang and Ozai was for sure the more “powerful” fight. But Azula vs Zuko was epic. The colors, the fight, the reason leading to this fight and the music is giving goosebumps ever since!

@@mattsultimategamingandrevi8249 Much like how Evolutions isn't talked about much in the Dragonball community. That film adaptation was about as awful, if not worse, than the cheap knock-off you speak of.
@@grahamdamberger7130 true I actually have a hard time deciding which one was worse dragon ball evolution or the last airbender cause both of them were extremely awful but at least with dragon ball evolution it was so bad that it made Akira Toriyama bring back the anime series to right the wrong that was that abomination of a movie so at least with dragon ball evolution there was something good to come out of how bad it was but with the last airbender it was just awful to the point where it didn’t have any redeeming qualities whatsoever

My favorite battle would always be, where Aang and the Fire Lord had their final battle and Aang won the war. The animation was just amazing and very good. I loved how Aang went into his Avatar State and all the elements combined.
Top Ten Animated Fights with No Winner
I love this series & The Legend of Korra to the moon & back!!
I will say that Avatar does fail their farmers a bit in the TV show. In the Zuko-centric episodes, a family of Earth kingdom farmers took him in despite not knowing his identity after he protected their son. When he revealed his Fire nation identity while fulfilling his oath to the boy’s mother, they shunned him. The worst part about this is that there likely would have been farmers in Zuko’s own nation that would have definitely appreciated this help. As such, the farmer family is not only rejecting the fire nation but is also rejected their own kind (every farmer in existence) across the four nations. Because a farmer’s job is to increase the food production of their region, this is the highest form of blasphemy that anyone can commit, and it was done by a farmer family due to Nickelodeon’s demands.
There is even further evidence of this lack of care towards the farmer’s work as a whole. When Sokka is with his sister, Katara, at the beginning of the series, he is trying to increase the food production of his village. Interestingly enough, it is when his sister invades his work that he yells at her to let him get food that his village might need. Now, she accuses him of sexism and treating her differently than how he treats men. But considering how true that accusation was, this is once again another instance of where Nickelodian portrays farmers in a very negative light. An actual farmer would treat people the same with differential treatment based only on the type of work an individual is involved in. In other words, Katara should have apologized since that very fish could have been her dinner, and she caused him to not be able to catch it. Yet, Sokka should have held his tongue when dealing with his sister, lest he give an inappropriate image to the work that a farmer does. Once again, Nickelodian diminished the image of the farmer for the sake of their own reputation, and it sadly shows very poignantly.
The sad part is that without farmers continually pouring food into the community, there is no reason for anyone to be as moralistic as they could be, since otherwise good actions have no purpose to them. In other words, Zuko, Sokka, and Aang have no real reason to be fighting for the sake of goodness without the effort of the farmers to keep them alive.

ATLA has so many amazing fights. I always have a hard time choosing between the Aang vs Ozai battle and the Zuko/Katara vs Azula battle as my favorite though.

You know, during Zuko’s time alone I’m surprised that nobody recognized his scar. I mean it’s even on his wanted poster so you would think people would’ve recognized him without him announcing himself. Also, Jet’s weapons are called Tiger Claws. I also like how Zuko despite all his trauma ultimately makes the right choice to help Aang and the others as well as his Uncle. I also like how when Zuko becomes Fire Lord he destroys the practice of Agni Kai. I also love how Mark Hamil was the one who voiced Fire Lord Ozai.
Can we all agree that Zuko and Azula have the best fights in the series.
