This is great! The wall drill is really helpful. I already have the hanger and can confirm that it really puts you in the best position for ball striking. Thanks for your videos, really love your style of teaching.
Craig Thank you for a great video You have a great swing. I love the position of your right forearm between p5.5 and p6. You once mentioned in a previous video - which for the life of me I can't find- that it should be pointing down about 45 degrees or more Would you be kind enough to inform me how I would measure it to get an accurate reading From what part of elbow to where on wrist Many thanks
At the beginning of the video you talked about the 40-45* angle of the pros shoulder to belt, but didn't talk about how to get it. From my experience hinging from the hip sockets so that the belt aims at the ball puts the person on that 40-45* angle. Would you agree? Without a wall what type of movement do you think would create the same position as the grip along the wall motion/positioning in the downswing? Would keeping the back turned away from the target while lowering both elbows (at the same rate for both) directly downward from the top create this movement/positioning? Finally, what is that Perfect Swing poster on your wall from? It reminds me of the old Model Golf / Compusport Model Pro from what I could see at an angle.
I can’t explain everything in a RUclips video. There’s 1300 videos in WorldClassGolf.com 80+ Master Class Series The right hip is 10-15 degrees higher at the top of the backswing that will assist you in the pivot. Probably not easy to write about it Thanks for posting though 👍👍
I really like your videos. You explain the swing really well and I really enjoy hearing your ideas. I am a teaching professional, but these swing drills are definitely not new.
Thanks Susan, Have you seen the dartboard drill? I only just found it myself. So it’s new for 99% of people. Almost all titles in newspapers and in RUclips are written to catch the attention of the reader. It’s not clickbate. Click bate is when you have a title but the video is a completely different topic. When I tell people about the dart drill they have never heard of it before. If people go around telling RUclipsrs that they think the title is not exactly correct you’ll be writing for 100 years. I appreciate your post. Don’t take RUclips titles 100% literally because it’s a huge part of the business and attracting viewers. At the end of the day it’s free. Good information. It’s what drives the business so I’m actually able to do these videos and pay for all the costs and time I spend doing it. I have experimented with hundreds of titles. If I wrote for example - TRY this and you might be 5% better in 3 months! Nobody would click on If you have a better example of a RUclips title I’m all ears. I changed this title after 1 day because the video flopped nobody clicked on. Change the title and it’s performing well. Kind regards Craig Hanson
@@CraigHansonGolf Thanks for your reply Craig. As I said I really like your content and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts for free and all the time and hard work it takes. Actually your dartboard drill is not a new idea for me. But I have spent time with great people like Rob Neal and Mike Adams and other great teachers. I didn’t mean it to be critical. Please don’t take my comments in the wrong way. Are you based in Aus, U.S? Do you ever get over to Europe? You’re my favourite You Tuber in golf and I really respect your knowledge. Cheers Susan
@@susanmoorcraft915 I’m actually teaching in Germany that’s where I’m based. Dr Rob Neal is actually on my partner on WorldClassGolf.com I guess you knew that? It’s I’m not taking your comments the wrong way there’s just a lot to more to it the business of attracting viewers than people know. 👍
If you have Gem already, get the hanger as well. You can use them together in practice swings as they are doing essentially the same thing, but together they work even better than individually.
Your drills are fabulous; but when all is said and done. I don’t think of any of them because of two famous saying by 2 of yesteryear legendary golfers and teachers Ben Hogan said that trying to consciously get the club at the center of the ball to strike the ball is impossible Gary Player said that a golfer cannot walk from hole to hole with his hands and wrist; so why any golfer would use them to strike their ball is beyond me. Use your larger muscles; your stomach muscle instead. Remember the club goes through the ball and should never stop even for a moment to hit at the ball. So at 75 my golf swing is 100 percent controlled with the movement of my naval area to my trail side for my backswing then for the downswing a more aggressive movement of my naval to the full completion of my backswing. At 75 I now feel like a world class golfer. Cheers 😃⛳️👍❤️🥂
Love the idea of the hanger - sadly even Amazon no longer delivers to SA cos' the government and its employees steal everything coming in 😞 do you have a local supplier for me?
