The respect you have for these home's is wonderful. You are an old soul that can appreciate the design and craftsmanship that goes into these older home's, hence why they still stand with good bones. It's a shame that houses like this, older homes are getting torn down. This house could easily be fixed up and lived in for many more years. I love your videos and the respect and kindness you show to what would have been somebody's home. Thank you for that.
They certainly liked pink! I'll bet the kitchen originally had a pink sink, countertops, and cupboards maybe with green accents and curtains! LOL! The wallpaper in the downstairs bathroom is awesome. Hey Ethan, I'm a fairly new subscriber so this is my first time seeing this home!!! I absolutely love mid century architecture & in its day this must have been quite a showplace. Thanks for sharing another exciting video!!! 👍👍🎄
What an absolute classic 50s home! And so sad it won't be saved. I was born in 1957 but have never seen original double-sinked bathroom counters like that. And that wall with the Philco TV was amazing! Well done Ethan!!

This was one of the most beautiful homes I have seen from this era. Those bathroom vanities were epic! The Philco room was amazing. My favorite homes that you do are mid century. This one was great!

Dishwasher not common in 1957. Thank you so much for showing us another great house. It had lots of stuff that is familiar to me. You are the best. Wear another shirt under your sweatshirt, and some gloves might help when it is so cold. Keep safe and many blessings to you. 😊
I remember this house. It wasn't in that bad of shape on the first walk through. The paint peeling, bare sub flooring, rust on stove and railings outside just have a feeling of finality. As if this once Beautiful home is saying good by and giving up it's fight for life. It was as my Granny used to say " A Grand Old Place Full of Love and Happiness". Sad to see her go. 😢 Thank you, Ethan, for revisiting this house.

We'll be waiting to see you on your next adventure.👍♥
Such a gorgeous home. I was imagining how beautiful that home was around Christmas. That home would be beautiful all decorated with Christmas lights and having a big beautiful tree in the living room. Like you said, it’s a shame that this home will be demolished. The layout was very different then in the other homes. Thank you for another amazing adventure. I want to wish you and your family Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Your videos are amazing and you are the only one that I watch. Keep up the good work and I will see you on the next adventure.🏠💙🎅🏼🎄
What a cool house! Love the split level style. So much living space. The bathrooms were so retro cool. The tv room and that wall unit were so so incredible. The wall unit needs to be saved! All of the hanging light fixtures need to be saved, I love them and I want them. That house has so much personality I hate to see it torn down when it could be renovated. Makes me sad. Seems like someone lived their whole lives there and then it just gets wrecked. Really enjoyed this tour. Ethan keep up the good work! That nasty person is jealous, just ignore him. Keep safe.
I was born in 1957, yes I’m old!! I just hope I don’t look as rough, even though sometimes I feel like it!! 😂😂 I love the house!!very impressed that it’s not tagged and vandalized, also that the tv is there where it belongs!! Thanks for sharing!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖
Thank you from Texas. We watch all your videos as a family. The kids get to see how things where and the elders get to reminisce on what was. The respect you show is also a lesson for the kiddos. It’s been great to see each video. What you do is a treat for us!
I just love how nostalgic you are, not many people of your generation are like that. ( I know because my kids are your generation ). One thing you didn't mention is the kitchen had both a gas stove and an electric stove. I thought that was very cool. I have never seen that before. Love your videos. Thanks for sharing. Peace and love to you.
Hey, Ethan thank you for revisiting this beautiful old 1950's style home and I'm glad that no one got into It and destroyed It, fantastic to see that beautiful old television set still there but its a grand old home and once again thank you
That house was great!! We had great party’s 70’s, 80 ‘s and the 90’s. Our family got so big we had to rent a hall for our Christmas party’s and special events but that house would have been a house that would hold us all. Keep up the good job love your videos!!
Such enjoyable vids man! I see a lot of urban exploring on here and you are very real and respectful of others property -if that could be said. So many others seem to think that it’s “cool” to vandalize and leave their mark disrespectfully and to just have something to do. I love to see old architecture and your comments and dialog while exploring is wonderful! I know I’m beating a dead horse but please make sure you are careful of asbestos, radon, dust etc -and wear PPE if you feel that that the places have been closed off for a while without air flow to rid the structures of any of these things. Protect yourself fro breathing in nasty things that you cannot see or smell. And always wash or sanitize to protect from tetanus or any chemicals that have been lurking around and you may be exposed to.
I really enjoyed this video Ethan. What a gorgeous house it must have been. I can't believe what good shape the kitchen and upstairs bathrooms where still in. That house must have been immaculate in its day, for the bathrooms to still look so clean! I loved the pink and gray bathroom and the green bathroom. It is too bad someone is not going to rehab that house, I would keep all the original tile in those bathrooms. But, as you said, I guess time moves on. Thanks for making these videos! 😊
Ethan you are doing fabulous. You’re very successful. There are always going to be people who thrive on drama and thrive on downing other people. Try not to let it bother you. You stand out because you respect the homes you go into, you respect your viewers, and you are very professional. Keep doing what you’re doing. I really like that house. It’s pretty cool. I love your videos. Stay safe. 😊
That's because you are so good at it and your honourable I think that's a word honest and you respect others and the homes you explore ❤️🐈 Melbourne Australia
I recently found your channel and I absolutely love watching your videos. I watch quite a few of these types of videos but you are by far the most thoughtful, respectful and kindest RUclipsr out there. You not only respect the houses you're in, but you appreciate the lives that took place in them. You don't destroy anything, appreciate almost everything, and never cuss. Please keep up the Amazing tours! I do have a couple of little suggestions... Please make your turns a little slower sometimes you turn so fast I can't see everything lol. Also, please get a stronger light. Sometimes your light doesn't really allow for us to see the details in the rooms you go in. No matter what I will not only continue to watch you and support your channel, but I will put the word out there about your channel so more people can appreciate your hard work. Please dress warm and be safe out there!!
The folks who built this home in 1957 put so much effort into what was the highest style of the period that it would have been hard to make changes since they certainly would have been so proud of it. This is the best mid century house tour that I have seen. Thank you.
Never saw this house before! OMG, I loved seeing it! What stood out for me were the incredible bathrooms. The colors of the tile and wallpaper. I think my favorite was the wallpaper in the bathroom off of the sunken living room. Thank you for going back! As for your pest you can’t seem to get rid of...he seems envious of your success and never seemed to learn by the old saying, “You get more flies with honey than you do vinegar.” You keep doing YOU! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hi Ethan 😎🏎🚘,I remember that house :) My favorite room was the one with the old school TV 😁📺,I remember my grandparents having TVs like that in black&white, the bathrooms were really cool tho, very 70's style, its a shame its falling apart. That 70's style should be brought back to life😎🏡📺,see you soon Ethan, your always awesome!!!! Always stay your cool self 😎🚘🏎,see you soon on your next cool video😎🚘
Ethan, don’t let that person rent space in your head. He’s not worth it. You have a great fan base and we all love you and have your back. It would be cool to see this house back in it’s day. That old Philco TV is great. Love the pink bathroom.
Love it that your channel is drama free. Not wasting your energy on responding to negativity from others is most beneficial 4 u. Besides responding 2 the trash gives your enemy power & satisfaction. Destroy the enemy don't feed it. Much luv. Carry on. Thx 4 being u.
This house is so nice. I hope that it dosn't get demolished. That would be a shame! I love all the old features from the 70's and before! Also, you could tell that it was left as is.And It could be used as a mother in laws suite in the basement. It dosn't see any damage It could be restored to modern If need be instead of being destroyed. Thank you for showing Ethan and have a great day!!! To add the built in TV is a one in a million. And pink is an antique color
I was born in 1958. In my childhood home, we had an avocado bathroom. I still drive by my old house often. It's been well kept, and updated over the years. It's sad to see this one just going to seed from weather exposure. I am sure it was once very nice.
Thanks for giving us another tour of that magnificent mid century home! It's always a shame that these houses keep getting torn down and this one's definitely worthy of a revisit. RIP
Another killer upload like Always,When," ETHAN" is on RUclips🤗 Thank you for all you do for Us ❤ Much love❤ From San Antonio Texas🥰 God bless you Always🙏 ETHAN😇
Hey Ethan! Almost 100k🎉. I remember this beauty. My childhood home had pastel sinks, tubs, bar,2 kitchens. Great place to grow up.Growing up(70’s wild child)my brother fixed & repainted old cars. The 3 favorites were 55 Dodge we called her Mable, 56 Dodge, both two toned & the crown jewel was a baby blue Chrysler 4 door, a 55, with original mow hair seats. Mint condition. He let me use all 3 for my wedding. Great memories. Ignore all that negative social media garbage. Even though social media has good points, the bad points definitely outweigh the good. Great second look. It’s really deteriorating. What a shame. I love this era home. Take care
It may bother you...I get it don't... sweat it. It's always hurtful whenever someone says or said bad things about you. It's because we know our self pretty well. It's just irritating and I totally get it. Block Block Block them in every any way you can! Period. It will get better. Chin up, keep yourself focused and the eyes on the prize ALWAYS!
Incredible home. Other than fixing the decay I would not change much. The banister, front door starburst, TV room, 50s Formica patterns… So much goodness.
Thank you for doing this home. It breaks my heart when you show all of these homes thats just decaying. With love it could still have a family living there.
Really great video! I noticed one of the upstairs bathrooms had pink tile and green fixtures, and the other was the opposite. I've seen a lot of colorful 50s and 60s bathrooms but somehow never saw that color combo. Super cool house overall, stairway spindles were very unique too.
Wow , such an incredible timepiece! Those bathrooms were basically unchanged, timepieces from the 50s and 60’s! The room with the built in tv , if they tear the house down , they should remove the whole wall shelf piece with tv intact and place it in a museum! As far as your situation goes with the other guy , we don’t know all the details and history, but don’t stop , go ahead and do what you do! You are doing a great thing , and out of all of the abandoned house reactions you have the best admiration and appreciation for these old properties, and we have an appreciation for your appreciation and dedication to bringing these homes to us!
Firstly, you are doing an awesome job! Secondly, you are professional, personable, enthusiastic, passionate about your work & deserve the rewards for your hard work & dedication! Thirdly, trust your instincts, keep following your awesome moral compass and integrity & keep taking the high road! (You will never regret this, even when it's hard). Lastly, haters gonna hate - and that's a judgement on THEM not you! Whatever their sad reasons, don't let them pull you down to their level. Don't let them steal your joy! PS - loved all the colourful bathrooms in this one.
I grew up in a 1942 custom built home. It had the sink, bathtub and toilet in color, Citrus yellow in the main bath and Cadet blue in the master bath. The bathroom walls were tiled up about 5 foot high with a painting in the tiles over the tub and patterned tile floors. They just do not make them like that any more.
Goodness, those bathrooms! Brings back memories of my childhood home, built in the late 1950s! The chrome built in soap dish, we had those! One was for toothbrushes, and swiveled closed, with a little chrome mirror. You're right, the wallpaper is all 1970s, as was the smoky veined mirrors in the dining room. (peel and stick fake mirrors) What a treasure, looks like it's been empty for years, lots of natural decay. thanks for the little trip down memory lane, great video as always
Great explore, loved this house. I was a little kid in the 50s, I can remember some of those old things @ my house. Our home was very colonial with antiques & family heirlooms but my mom always strived 2 keep up with the times. New wallpaper, area rugs, window treatments. Yes I'm giving away my age but I don't care, these homes give me a nice shot of nostalgia. Thx. Much luv
Bathrooms would have been nice in their Hay Day the chandelier in the dining room and the lights in the first bathroom were beautiful. I like your voice I like your videos that's why I subscribe to you don't pay attention to others ❤️

I am glad you revisited this home, Ethan. The home is spectacular. You can look inside the toilet tank near the top of the tank, and the toilet manufacturing date will be stamped into the tank. This could help you date a house of you believe the toilet to be original to the house. Just a thought.
What an amazing MCM home. So many original details!! It’s really sad it’s being torn down, though. At least the bar was saved. 😢 I bet some great parties were held there back in the day!! 😊
I don’t subscribe to many people, but you were my first RUclipsr I subscribed to. Your enthusiasm for these homes is contagious. The person is probably talking about you to get more subscribers; unfortunately, people (myself included) love drama. He better not be making fun of your “what’s up you guys” though. 😂 Onto the home: I still love that flower wallpaper in the bathroom and the philco television. I’m sad the home has declined so much in the past two years. The missing red carpet would be an easy way to cover a murder. 😂

Thank you, Ethan, for revisiting this house.
Love everything you show thank you so much for what you do
You are right about people who want to speak badly about you. They really aren't worth your energy and time. You have all of us supporters here for you!! Let your mind go there ☺️
Great job! Love love your exploration.. definitely 👍
Fabulous home in it's day, I am sure! Hope it will be restored and not a tear-down. You have a great channel and I enjoy the tours very much. You know you are a success when people start getting jealous of you. I'm old enough to be your mother so here's my advice: don't let the haters spoil it for you. Keep doing what you do so well.
Keep safe.
Your a great guy. Keep up the good work. I love watching you. I don’t know about the fifty’s but the sixty’s were great!!🎶🤘
I was born in 1957, yes I’m old!! I just hope I don’t look as rough, even though sometimes I feel like it!! 😂😂 I love the house!!very impressed that it’s not tagged and vandalized, also that the tv is there where it belongs!! Thanks for sharing!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖
Great to see you back with another video keep up the good work your videos are always so epic much love and respect to you
Thank you from Texas.
You're the sweetest person I love how you handle yourself it shows me your momma raised a great young man ❣️
You are such a nice guy - the camera doesn’t lie!
My mom installed smoked glass mirror tiles on the living room wall in 1961. Thanks for the tour, Ethan!
That small kitchen looks like possible apartment or maybe a storm seller . I love the old metal cabinets
Please dress warm and be safe out there!!
thank you!
No problem Ethan that's because we love your videos we support you brother just keep showing good videos God bless brother
You are a wonderful person (and an old soul) love everything you do. Much love.
Hun U R AWESOME and don't u forget it❤️ This house is beautiful. I wish it was mine so sad it will be tore down😪
Love it that your channel is drama free. Not wasting your energy on responding to negativity from others is most beneficial 4 u. Besides responding 2 the trash gives your enemy power & satisfaction. Destroy the enemy don't feed it. Much luv. Carry on. Thx 4 being u.
I am heartbroken that no one is willing to step up and restore that beautiful home.
You're videos are the best and I love them more than the rest 💕
I too was born in 53. It was a great to grow up in.!
All is good Ethan we have your back my friend, I remember this place soooooooo cool!😀👍
Yo E great revisit thank you for all your time and effort your my #1 much love from central Florida
Great Job Ethan. I love these kinds of videos and your one of the few I subscribe too. Keep up the good work. 😊
Thanks for giving us another tour of that magnificent mid century home! It's always a shame that these houses keep getting torn down and this one's definitely worthy of a revisit. RIP
That is classic Mamie Eisenhower pink!! Its authentic. I love the green and yellow bathrooms, too.
Another killer upload like Always,When," ETHAN" is on RUclips🤗 Thank you for all you do for Us ❤ Much love❤ From San Antonio Texas🥰 God bless you Always🙏 ETHAN😇
I love you enthusiasm! This was an amazing explore! Thanks for taking us along! ❤
Take care
Incredible architecture!! If I had the money I would love to have the blue prints to recreate it! Great home.
The banister, front door starburst, TV room, 50s Formica patterns…
So much goodness.
Like everyone has already said your a good guy thank you for doing what you do I so enjoy every one of your videos .
Ethan is so adorable, and such a friendly Canadian. Don’t give the haters a minute of your time, and keep doing what you’re doing 👍🏼
Loved the vanities in the bathrooms. It would have been quite a nice home
I love everything about this vintage house.. Thank you Ethan for showing it again💜💚💜💚 I can watch this house every time..
Don’t worry what others think Ethan you do awesome work. Have a great Christmas 🎄🇦🇺💜
Love what you do keep up the great work
Thank you for doing this home. It breaks my heart when you show all of these homes thats just decaying. With love it could still have a family living there.
Ethan! ✨💥✨I was one of your first followers..and..haters be gone. Your ❤successful and handsome! Great videos! Keep Rockin!
You're an awesome guy, Ethan. Don't let that negative person bring you down. Stay happy! Love ya!
Your explores are awesomeness💜 Including this one
I absolutely love when you revisit homes from the past. Just be careful. I've been watching you since the beginning. Keep the good work up.
I LOVE this channel! The tours are superb and your enthusiasm/excitement is contagious. Thank you for your dedication, professionalism and willingness to share all of these treasures. You are an amazing and gifted person spreading happiness with your talent. Do NOT forget those , like me, who appreciate the job YOU do.
I am glad you revisited this home, Ethan. The home is spectacular. You can look inside the toilet tank near the top of the tank, and the toilet manufacturing date will be stamped into the tank. This could help you date a house of you believe the toilet to be original to the house. Just a thought.
Beautiful old house. Thanks for the revisit. Your a great person. Thanks for the great videos
Looking forward to seeing your next explore
What an amazing MCM home. So many original details!! It’s really sad it’s being torn down, though. At least the bar was saved. 😢
I bet some great parties were held there back in the day!!
Onto the home: I still love that flower wallpaper in the bathroom and the philco television. I’m sad the home has declined so much in the past two years. The missing red carpet would be an easy way to cover a murder. 😂
