He has amazing turn out for a male dancer. I guess people find him too boyish looking probably because he doesn't have big muscles with a baby face. Not everyone will agree but I consider him lucky, ageless :D
Often wonder WHY the lighting doe not allow the audience to SEE these amazing dancers. So dark in the wing, downstage and upstage. WHY? And yes... I KNOW of which I speak!!! F.

It doesn't look silly to me ! It is the traditionnal costume, in fact, more for Ali in Le Corsaire than for Solor in La Bayadère, but anyhow, it is very becoming on Leonid ! But of course it is a matter of personnal taste.
It's neither a tube top or a bra. It would be good for you to look up clothing that is clearly from another culture before saying something ignorant. Although, ballet is hardly accurate in traditional clothing when depicting them in productions.
