Saa Vidya Yaa Vimukthaye (Education for Liberation) | 2002 Convocation Drama by Students of SSSIHL

Om Sri Sai Ram! In keeping of Bhagawan's 95th Birthday Celebrations, Sathya Sai Videos would like to take you back to the 77th Birthday Celebrations of Bhagawan Baba in 2002. This video is of the Convocation drama from that year by the students of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL), entitled "Saa Vidya Yaa Vimukthaye: Education for Liberation." The drama follows the story of an young man in dire financial straits who aspires to be a doctor. Through his determination, hard work, and as he later finds, the magnanimity of a stranger, he achieves his dream. Yet, he pines for something more in his life, and seeks God once he has achieved his material dream. Bhagawan, the Divine Director of the drama, can be seen gleefully watching his students enact the play with the excitement of the most loving mother. Next to him is former President of India Sri APJ Abdul Kalam, who can also be seen heartily enjoying the drama. Bhagawan blesses all the student actors at the end of the video.
