Thank you! If you want other high quality informational white noise, we've been told the rest of the Zepisodes are premium background sounds for work/studying.
This game actually reminds of "Swordquest" in a few ways. Mainly with the ways you need to solve genuine clues and riddles to earn treasure as a reward. Except in Swordquest, the treasure was real, and actually worth thousands of dollars. Even the ultimate grand prize, a golden sword, makes you feel infinitely more like a "king" or an "emperor" than just another piece of cardboard does. Lastly, thank you Josiah.
All of this is super cool; it also kind of sucks. But it's very cool. There's bones of something absolutely incredible here - outside of a study piece.
I'm confused about the Jester's Quest bit. You said about some apparent hints for the quest that included "one not found on a card at all" but the card says nothing to that effect? Also you say they lied to you but it says 5 locations and you have 5 cards so am I just missing something here?
A secrets card says only 4 of the symbols are to be found on cards and the fifth is elsewhere. The intended solution was 4 cards and the pack wrapper, but there were 5 cards with symbols, so it's confusing of that was intended or not.

May the algorithm gods be kind to you, cause this is a ridiculously polished and interesting video for such a small channel

this is so well scripted, researched, and edited. It deserves way more views - thanks for putting this together for us!
Aw thanks! Here's hoping that people share it around and it catches the algorithm.
Looking at these cards makes me think twice about calling cards in modern TCGs a “wall of text” 😅
Well I guess I'll cross this off of the list for games I eventually need to talk about. Looks like you pretty much got it covered lol.

35:16 surprisingly of slaying is a type of magic weapon in DnD
I have some terrible news for WotC about what a weapon does.
new life goal: collect every punchout scratch card
I never thought I'd see the consequences of my actions happen in real time
Me: Oh, 30 years ago? Didn't knew there was such TCG in the 70s-wait, what do you MEAN 30 years ago is 90s?!

Time is cruel and mean. But also it brought us Mazica party so like. Time is weird and unjust, too. Thanks for watching!
I found a few boxes of this at a flea market. Note it was made by a different steve jackson from Munchkin fame, I checked
gambling was formed from desperation
Come for the snazzy card game presentation...Stay til the very end for surprise Mazica Party jumpscare
The threat of Mazica Party is always low, but never zero
It's so... awfully beautiful. Thank you Zep. And thank you Josiah.
... But have you heard of Perplex City?
No, but perhaps I could do some digging...

Commenters who do it for the algorithm are god's strongest soldiers.

BattleCards proves that "incredibly intelligent" and "blazing dumpster fire" are not mutually exclusive descriptors.
