Yes! Totaly agree. The points are presented very well. Though, I do think that if they do it correctly, a OverDress like reboot can also work, if they do it right, but still, I absolutely agree that Master Yugioh cardpool has to start over. I do like Ruah, but using a different card game as a way to solve the problems of the main game isn't exactly right imo. Both games and duel styles are valid and deserve equal respect and their playerbase deserves an accessible and fun game
Oh Rush isn't a solution to Master's problems, but it is a good entrance point to Yu-Gi-Oh! as a franchise and like. The main thing they advertise with their television anime. I feel like. That should be a product on shelves instead of Battle City!! Again!!!
I think the set rotation for standard yugioh can work. The thing Konami would have to do is give more priority to alternate formats so that people's collections aren't worthless with each rotation.
Yeah, there would need to be a huge infrastructure shift in official play, but it could easily lead to more stores actually committing to be OTS since they could run formats for different price points.
You are the only yugituber whose opinion I respect I keep looking at stack of ygo cards I have and going "can they change freakin layout this is skill issue of them on accessibility issue at this point"
Yugioh needs multiple supported formats - Advanced, Modern Advanced (four year set rotation), Time Wizard, Time Wizard Expanded, some casual competitive equivalent to commander, and maybe a TCG Exclusive Archetype format
Aight, here's the problem with Set Rotation for Yu-Gi-Oh!, it makes older cards worthless, which will 100% piss off a LOT of older players, because Konami would be saying "You're idiots for all the time and investment you put into collecting the cards for this game.". As for how I could see a fix for this kinda thing, maybe have different formats based on the DIF Eras of Yu-Gi-Oh! for Tournaments? Classic, GX, 5Ds, Zexal, Arc V, Vrains, Modern, and Anything Goes (for those who actually wanna use anything not on the Banlist). Also, as for all the Eras, any earlier (in the case of later series like Arc V) or later direct support for cards specifically from those eras, would be allowed as well. This way, Konami could release newer support for those formats that don't need to be OP as hecc, just fitting of those Eras/Formats. Another plus side being, it doesn't invalidate legacy collectors, as their older cards can still have a place, instead of becoming entirely unplayable.
I’m gonna disagree with this take. Also this is a take that a LOT more people have. And to be honest this game is so far away from the other games that it’s just not a good idea at this point. And yes while people do say it would be an optional format, most likely it would become the main format. Besides do you think we can TRUST Konami with a set rotation format?
I want to take this video seriously and and the whole discussion about yugioh problems But the whole comedy aspect of the video was kind of forced in my opinion Im not trying to insult but honestly, turn down the comedy a little bit or make it less sudden
This video is so much better than getting beaten up by a white man!
Real

It's literally just a eyesight/reading processing accessibility problem now. One day they'll figure out linebreak technology.
yugioh is so cool wish i could play it
To be fair, effects these days with Yu-Gi-Oh IS very intimidating. I miss the joke descriptions of the old dayz.

It DOESN’T have set rotation? I could have been using my old decks from the mid-late aughts this whole time?
If they somehow miraculously haven't been hit with a banlist, you can certainly try!
Am I the only one who thought that every time he said set rotation, I thought of the card?

If only.
Though trust me on this....
They rather have pot of greed at 3 before doing set rotation or card frame editing.
