I'm a 20yo vegetarian living in India. I make several Indian version of everything you suggest. Listening to you is just so therapeutic. I can't even explain how much you hv healed me. I go to medical school and prefer to cook my meals. Thank youuuu for these super quick recepies and your existence 😙🥰. Ily sooo soo much.
I also love the website! It would also be nice to have a favourites list❤ where one can save their favourite dishes they tried or would like to try. So far any recipe I tried was great, so most likely I would end up listing them all in my favourites 😀
These recipes are honestly amazing. As a person with ADHD meal planning is very important, nutrition even more so. I applaud you for making these awesome videos. Stay amazing :)
These look lovely, and the no-cook aspect of the last one is very practical! One of the things I remember about being a student was that it wasn't always easy to get access to fresh ingredients. I was flatting, rather than in a hall, so did at least have an oven and pre-space etc. However, it would be so neat to see your take on nourishing & delicious meals made from shelf-stable things or some recipes that might support eating well when you don't have access to supermarkets and markets, etc (e.g. food deserts). I know there are definitely recipes you've made that fit the bill, but a themed collection could be helpful :)
“Student friendly”. Also overworked adult on shift work friendly!! definitely doing these(not vegan or vegetarian but i love adding more veg based meals!!)
I've been planning on getting back to being plant-based now that I can. These simple recipes don't require a lot (even with tools, you're mostly using a knife and the stovetop here) so I'm going to try them out first. Thanks!
I just love this channel so much. It's extremely therapeutic and you balance out the meals which is amazing. My 7 year old loves these recipes as well. Thank you so much for what you do! We appreciate you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
All of the recipes look amazing. I’m starting my career as a travel sonographer and will need recipes just like these on my journey. Quick and packed with flavor. Thank you for making this video. Can’t wait to see more!
Sadia THANK YOU!! I am in-love with how graceful and relaxing your videos are! U have no idea how much effect u’ve had on my life! I’ve always struggled with making plant-based healthy meals but your channel made it so much easier and enjoyable! Thank u❤️❤️
The harissa spiced beans seem absolutely delicious! I am definitely going to try them next time I have some butter beans on hand - I've never thought such a simple meal could be as appetising! Thank you so so much for these ideas, all of them seem brilliant! Lots and lots of love!
So nice that this came up! I was about to come to your channel to find some quick and cheap recipes for making a meal plan and then you uploaded this lovely video. Thank you! 😊
Omg I’m watching eagerly bc I made last $1 haul and killed it with the lentil Pattie’s (sweet potatoes s white)😍 love this channel and my health coach does also
Us single parents can *definitely* use some easy, budget friendly recipes, too! I can't wait to try recipe #2, but since curry doesn't sit well with me, I'm going to sub it out for chopped, fresh dill. 💚 Thank you for these! All are on my "to make" list!
Hello. Thank you so much for all your videos. I’ve been watching your blog so much. You are my inspiration every single day. From breakfast lunch and dinner. I love your RUclips channel and I have been recommended to my friends. My husband he in a healthy balance program. And I was worry thinking what am I going to cook. Watching your channel The ideas are endless. I have made a lot of changes in my cooking. And we are very happy. He’s losing weight and so do I. Thank you so much for your time. And I love your personality and the way you explain things. Excuse my English writing I’m from Mexico. Best regards from Los Angeles California. 😊
3:48 I was once flying KLM and they served such soft and delicious egg sandwich, was honestly probably the best eggsalad sandwich i ever ate. Thank you for sharing this vegan version definitely will try it out!
riight me too! hey btw alycia, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about self growth, nutrition and all things life, if u wanna check it out☺️
Hi :) just wanted to express my gratitude : Pick up limes is the only youtube channel where I find amazing vegan recipes that I can eat ! I'm allergic to beans, peas, and a lot of very useful ingredients in vegan cuisine and I'm always disappointed on other channels because I cannot try the recipes. Thank you so much
I love being vegan. I've never been so happy and healthy. When I was eating meat and all that crap I was deficient in Iron and vitamin D, no energy, high cholesterol, A1c was elevated, had acne, overweight and bald patches on head. I've been vegan 6 years and not deficient in anything, no cholesterol, A1c back to normal and I'm full of energy, healthy and hair longer then ever. 💚
I really enjoy youre recipies and do cook them quite regulary. I also enjoyed the 5 days worth of meals challenge, not necessarily because of the budget frindly aspect , but because it was such a waste frindly week, and so easy to plan. I would like more of those . . . 😊
omg u put in bloopers? im new here but im obsessed. i like the bloopers. its more relatable content. doesnt feel so commercial/professional and disconnected
uh i’m gonna try this tomorrow too! btw tay, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about self growth, nutrition and all things life, if u wanna check it out☺️
me tooo! hey btw francisca, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about self growth, nutrition and all things life, if u wanna check it out☺️
Not sure where you’re located but I’m in a major US city and it doesn’t get much cheaper than dried beans and rice! Throw in some produce and you’re set :)
Still the minimum getting dried beans at the store is five bucks if you think about transportation, let alone time. Wish a realist breakdown of groceries and stock items was noted. Avado if lucky and cheap $3.50-4
Hii! I am from India. I don't do cooking at all, but i still watch all your videos just to hear your voice because it's so soothing and along with your smile you look so graceful! Lots of love from my side 🤗❤
aw thats so sweet! hey btw, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about self growth, nutrition and all things life, if u wanna check it out☺️
Your last part of the video is so motivative and inspiring because we all make mistakes even those who seem perfect, I like it and I like you, thank you so much for this quality of work
riight! loved that too! btw mona, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about self growth, nutrition and all things life, if u wanna check it out☺️
In italy those ingredients cost way more! Avocado 2€ /each, coconut yogurt 4€, tofu 3-4€.. also the spices and the sauces cost way way more.. vegan mayo is 5€.. and the vegetables too, i calculated about 10-12€/2 servings. hoping prices will be lower in future, but i am happy for you you spend so little! You are so lucky. Thank you for the video anyway :)
Ever since I went vegan I’ve been able to keep my monthly grocery bill under $100 and I live in Colorado where the price of living has gone up a lot within the last decade
Hi Sadia, thanks for all the super nice recipes you offer us! :D I wanted to ask you your opinion on frozen goods, especially vegetables in terms of nutritional value: since they are more readily accessible and cheaper to many people, is that a good alternative or is fresh a necessity?
Hey Marine, fresh is definitely not a necessity. Frozen fruits and veggies are great, and are often as nutritious as their fresh counterparts. Use them as you'd like 😊
i agreee! hey btw mai, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about self growth, nutrition and all things life, if u wanna check it out☺️
i agreee so much! hey btw, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about self growth, nutrition and all things life, if u wanna check it out☺️
I would love a video featuring recipes with perishable ingredients in common across each recipe. So that one can optimise their grocery shopping and get multiple recipes out of one batch of ingredients. I find that things often go out of date before I can use them as I'm not sure what else to use it for. Maybe this is a personal problem, nonetheless, I think that would be an interesting video!
First dish translated for ingredients you can afford in places where vegetables are expensive: a white onion is cheaper as well as green bell peppers, cut up regular tomatoes if cherry tomatoes sell for an arm and a leg in your country, use tomato paste or sauce and cayenne pepper instead of harissa, skip the vegan yogurt that sells for nearly $20 for one container.
totaly agreee! hey btw stephanie, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about self growth, nutrition and all things life, if u wanna check it out☺️

Thank you for this mouth-watering video :) I live in Ukraine and it is soooo expensive to be a vegan… Moreover, a lot of ingredients are not available in my country, so when you go to the supermarket you may feel frustrated a bit. And when you show all the prices for the products, it gives me understanding that living in Europe is cheaper than in Ukraine 😂

Amazing! I already made the "eggy" tofu salad sandwich and the instant vermicelli soup. It was delicious. The whole family loved it!

Hey Marine, fresh is definitely not a necessity. Frozen fruits and veggies are great, and are often as nutritious as their fresh counterparts. Use them as you'd like 😊
Frozen fruits and veggies are flash frozen at peak nutrient levels so they're definitely a more affordable option! I use them all the time.

Ooh I was just checking out your other budget meals and these are some more great ideas. Thank you Sadia 💚
Thank you so much for making this video, looking forward for more such types of videos.
Finally made this egg salad yesterday, and had it on some toasted Ezekiel bread... YUM! And I was seriously full for the rest of the day! So good! 😋
That Thai noodle soup looks right up my alley 😋
You are still so Canadian! (Me too) I love all your videos! So comforting. Will try the butter beans with the Harissa. I’ll head to Persia Foods soon!
These are sooo good!!!
I used adobe chili for the beans instead of harissa and cresse for the "eggs" salad. Simply delicious
Your videos are just THE BEST! Thank you so much.
Thank you for inspiring me to eat healthy!!❤🥰
