Greetings! Thank you so much for the solve. I really enjoyed it. I think in some ways it’s unfortunate that column 9 had only two cells cause it caused a lot of people to focus on columns rather than rows. I think the first few numbers can get placed a bit smother in you start looking with rows 1-3. In any case, your logic was all solid and fun to watch. Huzzah!
I also concentrated on columns but after reading your comment about the first 3 rows I can see how 9 can be immediately placed in all 3 of those rows. Huzzah! Thanks for the puzzle and now I'm going to try it again with this new insight.
Great puzzle, lot of fun eliminating possibilities. Solved it in 23:53. I felt there was a logical gap at 24:49. It is true that r4c4 being an 8 prevents an 8 in both rows 2 and 3, but the same is not true of r4c5 because it allows r2c3 to be 8. One needs to go one step further and see that this option eliminates 8 from row 1 as well.
A quite harsh puzzle for me. 9's were easy, 8's also but 's were not 😅 But I had a lot of fun trying to find the correct places using Knight's and King's move. Thank you! 😊
A good weekend puzzle! Very challenging, as the techniques used to solve each number kept shifting as I moved from largest to smallest. My time today was 40:20, solver number 127.

Thank you for this fabulous puzzle.
I tried to flip to rows occasionally, it somehow column blindness kept from focusing 😉

40:13 for me. That was lovely.
Nicely done

A challenging puzzle - very different but enjoyable.
Indeed!
Fun puzzle! 33:52 for me. 😄
what an unusual puzzle! I've had a hard time wrapping my head around it, similar to sleuth. took me 55:28, solver 157
fun puzzle, started with the 9s and worked backwards. Finished in 20 mins
