- HELLO EVERYONE, this is not my usual video BUT I feel it is so necessary to share because how I react will be affected by this change. I appreciate any love and acceptance, I know I can expect a ton of persecution (it's ok, because Jesus said that will happen, any hate I receive is more validation of my truth). I hope everyone can open their hearts and simply just care for mankind as a whole. I will continue my reactions 😀
Dear Tammy, I respect your message and have no intention to leave for now. As a French 50 yo catholic baptized woman, married by both baptist and catholic priests (bc my ex husband was protestant) and mother of 4 (2 catholic baptized, 1 atheist and 1 muslim) I hear the faith you have and why. Yet I have to be honest with you, I actually found more peace ( religion's war are a no no for me) and relief in my own way of spirituality, that is more about energy and ancient beliefs (Earth, life, water, respect and equity). So do you, enjoy your faith !! we all can live in an harmonious respectful way. Much love!

Thank you Tammy for your honesty, that is what brought me into your reaction channel in the first place! I think it is important to note that you were also on a learning curve with Kpop-understanding other music, culture, belief systems can and will make you appreciate your own background, and be mindful of others. I view BTS and myself on two different train tracks, I can appreciate and enjoy their many talents, and music on my track and BTS can live their own lives, giving back in their own way, loving their own family and friends on their train track of life.
I too had an epiphany like yours while always watching U.S. news on television, it was always so depressing, I rarely watch it now. I'm glad you are taking control of your life, whether that be spiritual, mindset or health. Congratulations, and I will look forward to whatever you bring to this channel! 🥰

I respect any decision you decide. I’ll be straight up though, I’m only here for BTS. If you do still watch BTS videos and their music then I’ll stick around but if not, then it was very wonderful that you were still able to get to know them and I had fun going down that journey with you. I do think it was a bit unfortunate that you kind of built a small community of people who enjoy KPOP and that they might not be as religious as you, to you possibly stepping back from kpop altogether. It does feel like a let down to some, at least for me bc I do enjoy your reactions but understandable to put yourself first, your family and your beliefs. I appreciate you saying that. I understand others could be disappointed but I don't plan to stop reacting. I find Kpop to be much better than American music as well. I will still be looking and listening to the talent and music but as far as expression of desire towards them I feel that will be the main change. Many find it relatable and enjoy seeing me simp or get flustered over them (that is my biggest conviction now).
I did not expect to experience what I did this weekend but I know I have to be serious and obey what I feel is right. Simply that I need to stop sexualizing these men when I have a man I want to marry.
It's so hard to understand unless it is personally experienced. I hope you can stay and continue to watch and enjoy.

For sure I get that. especially when you’re correct, you’re getting married. It’s weird af to be going crazy over other dudes. It can definitely affect a relationship/marriage. 💕
I respect your faith and understand that you don't want experience lust anymore. I'm here for the music anyway, the rest was a bonus. So if it's the only change, I don't mind and will enjoy your future reaction.
But as an European atheist, I don't like proselytizing. For me, the belief is a personal matter. We can share views, ideals and values without preaching.

I never meant to preach 😅 or make anyone feel I was trying to convert them. (I believe faith comes from personal experience, but I just felt it necessary to share because of the change I feel now)
The basis of my channel won't change, it's still about the music and talent 😁 I just needed to be open and transparent about my feelings now at least once on the channel.

I love you, Tammy. You are an amazing reactor and you seem like an amazing person as well & as a fellow Christian I clicked on this video because I really wanted to hear your story.
I am 55 and I’ve been a believer all my life although in my 20s and 30s I wouldn’t say I turned away from God tho I just lost my way a bit. I never denied Him but I never sought Him out and it wasn’t until my son was little that I started going back to church , I just felt like it was something I needed and I loved the community. I loved everything about it. My son was born a preemie and he almost died in the hospital and the only reason that he is still alive is because God performed a miracle I witnessed it with my own eyes, so I truly believe. When I was diagnosed with cancer last year, I hadn’t been to church in a couple of years mainly because of Covid, but I started going back and the first service I literally sat there almost in tears it was the perfect message I needed and I’ve started reading my Bible again and I think it’s brought me a lot closer to God. I totally respect everything you say. I think there are some differences in my views I have a lot of friends who have different views on religion and are not Christian. I let them be who they are but they also let me be who I am and we respect each other, but whatever you decide to do I will be here. God bless you and I hope everything works out for you.
Thank you for this video. I grew up in a Christian household (my mother was a minister). I have backslid so many times in my life and felt that conviction.
As a Christian, I was told that teaching others about God and the gospel is our job. And I 100% that we are not trying to force our religion on anyone, but we are just trying to share our experience and love.
I believe that God led me to your channel and this message was meant for me. NGL, I have not been doing my part as a Christian and have let the world lead me astray.

I am so thankful that you let me know this. I had no idea what I was going to say when I turned the camera on but I felt like I couldn't continue until it was addressed. Oh it was far from easy... I felt like deleting before posting many times but I can't be authentic on here doing my reactions if I'm hiding something like this. I really want to stop being a lukewarm Christian and the only way is to follow my first thought to post. as a muslim i believe in god and jesus peace be upon him, i totally got what u say and all u said was true people need to wake up and pray cause we live is scary world and no one know when his life will end so time is gold and we have to work for our end whether is praying or our life style we lack in a lot of things but u knowing this and having this feeling is proving ur faith and that's a good thing from u cause it's never late to correct ur ways, may god bless u.

To be honest, I do not understand any of religious things and I do not want to get anything to do with that, because I just don't believe it's true. I'm part of a community that has been offended forever by religious people (LGBTQI+), I tend to ignore that kind of behaviors in everything I watch and do, because I don't feel comfortable (especially in Latin America where I live), but I do have friends that are christians (we just don't talk about that because it's not necessary), my family is somehow religious but they never forced something on me.
I'm here because I do like your reactions to kpop, especially the groups I like, I can't promise I would stay if there's a switch that I don't necessarily like in the way you react... but I always cheer for you, because I think you're kind, a strong woman that is doing what she can and I totally support that, I wish happiness to your family and yourself and that's it, I just gonna see if I still enjoy your journey (with the future changes) and if is not, I still think you deserve a lot of attention and good things 💖 If I have to leave I'm gonna be silent about that bcs I don't have any interest in being hateful, I don't like that behavior.
I appreciate that and I respect you completely. Like I've said in the video, I've been in it all, I've experienced many different religions. This time for me personally is that I'm gaining an actual relationship with my God. I don't try to force an agenda but I feel peace and happiness so I have a desire to make mention on occasion about how good my God has been.
The only difference that I believe could be noticed in my reactions will be the comments on secular dances (like simping or drooling over them) and how I think they look. My conviction is due to being lustful when I watch these men and I don't feel comfortable with that anymore because I do have a fiance that I love so much. I will continue to react to the music and dancing and all the talent they have! Just have to look at them in a different, more pure, light.

after reading all the comments and your replies i guess my only question is are you going to acknowledge the sexual innuendos or undertones of lyrics of songs that have it or are you gonna ignore them in the reaction even if you notice it?
i understand not lusting over them 100% and i actually dont really like reactions that do yours were more tame than others i find bts attractive but i dont say it in a lewd way i simply use the words attractive handsome cute even pretty. but i dont go all descriptive like some other people do.
but there are songs that will be obviously about sex so i wanna know when you get to those songs are you gonna mention it as it relates to the lyrics or are you gonna try to find a meaning that isnt there or ignore it all together. my one reason for watching bts reactions is when people react to the lyrics and 1 make their own interpretation then finding out the real meaning on camera by watching a explained video or watching the members speak about it directly in other contents and interviews.
next would be iconic performances and how production adds to the meaning etc and everything else comes after that for me.
im not religious myself but i dont hate religious people most of my family is catholic and i was raised catholic until maybe 6th grade when i left my catholic school and went to public. i was always in public except for going to catholic for 2 years cause my mom didnt want me to go to the school in our zone as it was very dangerous and kids got beat up daily and cops called all the time i was tiny and couldn't fight.
but i was also not interested in catholic school either and just never got into it from then on. i still go to church if the occasion calls for it like a wedding or funeral but i stopped regularly going in 6th grade.
i read surface level of many religions and even the surface didnt connect for me to continue down any path so ive been non religious.
i do believe in heaven and spirits and when people say their stories of seeing afterlife or hearing from those that are very little and know things like toddlers or those that were visited by people who passed etc and i do respect all religions just not the people who cause harm i dont link them to their religion i just lose respect for the individual.
all that being said idk if you know but most koreans are not religious and the ones that are are either Christian or Buddhist. but like majority of the country is not. bts members have said theyer not religious but all have shown signs of believing in something so for example tae believes in angels and when he mentioned his grandmother who passed away to army in 2016 he mentioned that something happened on the 49th day after her passing. thats a tradition linked to Buddhism its like a 2nd farewell to who passed 49 days after they passed.
rm said he was atheist but would visit a temple often and is shown to have a lot of knowledge on different religions.
jungkook said his parents gave him and his brother the option of choosing a religion or choosing none as his dads family is Christian and his moms family is Buddhist neither practice and neither forced their kids into either so jungkook chose no religion idk what his brother chose.
but they all believe in ancestors and have some form of thoughts about heaven as shown in we are bulletproof the eternal for example.
and theres clips and content showing they all respect different religions even if they dont believe or practice themselves.
idk about other idols but i just wanted you to understand that in case they do or say something you may find uncomfortable or upsetting they dont follow anything closely and dont know all the rules of every religion especially western born ones they may have more knowledge on Asian born ones like Buddhism or islam etc
im just saying cause they say God in many songs not about actual God but like the saying and rm for example made a song called God rap and when it made its rounds new fans of different religions got upset not focusing on the point and meaning of the song and how a 21 year old young man was trying to make sense of the world who may have not had the information he has now or used it in a way others didnt understand.
im just letting you know this so you can be prepared for such occasions and understand their public background with religions as they discussed them with army. doesnt mean they told us everything doesnt mean things wont change or have changed since etc.
as of june 2022 or whenever their last ot7 live before enlisting started they all had said they werent religious like 1 said it and the rest agreed. and in 2023 jk told us about his parents and his choice. the rest were from before 2022 so until they update either as a group or individually if asked and the answer is different thats what it is for now.
some have issues with that and had issues when they told us in recent years so i dont want you blindsided or possibly hurt when you find out at a later time. 💜

I actually did record this video after watching and reacting to Taste by Stray Kids (will be posted tomorrow) I acknowledged what they were saying but I didn't comment as I have before to those kinds of lyrics. Because of the lyrics I mainly focused on the dancing, music and their voices. I can't predict how I'll react in the future but I want to stay authentic and if there are some that make me feel uncomfortable I'm sure I'll be open about that. I made this video because before what happened to me I would have had a different response to the lyrics and dancing (thirsting reaction). I felt I needed to clarify why there's a difference now. I'm not ignoring those feelings or covering them up but my actual view has changed, if that makes sense. It's hard to describe. Kind of like when something major happens in your life and you see things differently. As far as acknowledging what they are saying, I feel that wouldn't be an issue, just my response to it would be different.
