Another great Sunday to hangout and watch the newest trophy log series video. Love the series and every Sunday cant wait until i get to watch the next one. These videos helped me learn a lot of what to do and not do when targeting trophies of the different species and I cant thank you enough for them.
@@NorlingGaming the line weight should be below the reel's mechanical weight or its brake force (unless you use a leader, which then should be below the reel's weight). That way neither the reel nor the rod should break when you accidentally close the brake but the fish is too strong and only the line will break. Then, the thinner the line the more you get on the reel. Each reel gives you in the description how many metres you can put on the reel depending on the thickness of the line. It looks something like 0.22 mm 210 m, 0.28 mm 176 m, 0.3 mm 154 m. So I like to go with the thinnest lines I can get for the required strength which is often braided, even if braided is not recommended as it is hard on the rod and the reels. But, for instance, I went to Winding Rivulet the other day with the starting spinning rod and the 100 m line that you get when you create a new account. I got a fish which must have been an asp. It just spooled me so I had to ALT-F4 because I couldn't wear the fish out, stop it and bring it in. When I rejoinded I got a 350 m line, got another asp which pulled off again but after about two thirds of the line were gone it finally was tired enough that I could reel it in. A 100 m line would again not have been sufficiently long. You can see on the screen how much of the line has been spooled off or how much of the capacity is on the reel. you should make sure than the white line around the reel icon is going completely around the icon and not just half way. Would be easier to describe it with pictures but I hope you get what I tried to say 😆
Congrats on the trophy. And I don't mind if you change the upload schedule. I woulduse 22.5 red camo leader if you are targeting carp and I have an idea for future videos. You could target some bluetags. Certain bluetags are not that rare for example roach on sura or gibel on ladoga lake. You will just have to wait for them to be active again.
Thanks! Glad that is okay with you :) 22.5 camo i will try to remember that! Blue tag hunting would be cool. Also minnow isn't super rare on kuori i think?
@@NorlingGaming Yeah minnow isn't super rare. Sorry if I don't respond to your reply. It's my dads birthday and I just made him a cake and now I have to do the dishes.
Hey for which fish? 3.2 is fine for all of the lower lakes when you target some species. You only need lighter leaders once you for some special fish like minnow.
@@NorlingGaming yeah watch out when fishing for buffalo or barbel on akhtuba you can get a wild carp i hooked a 24kg one on an hsv and fortuna carp it spoled me like there was not tomorrow i tought it was a trophy but 25kg is the trophy size and somebody told me that an 18kg wild spoled the absolut EVERYTHING on his beluga venga he tought it was a blue tag but not it was just a 18kg 100% energy wild carp so be careful with those.

Norling how can i catch frog trophy on mosquito lake in future?
Nice Videos pls more
good spot but only if you have a lot silver for equip :)
I think you can avoid carp with size 8 hook mostly so beginner set will be fine.
@@NorlingGaming ok try to follow this guide for make silver.
nice fish, gz.
but it seems you're only utilising half of your reel's capacity. You really should get longer lines.
Thanks a lot, which line should i get? Or how should i calculate which line /reel to use?

And also how do I use my fishing net to grab the fish🤔 answer if you can😁
press "space" also you can buy a longer landing net and use that one. Should be 50 silver or so.
@@NorlingGaming no like how do i catch the fish with it after pressing space
@@Official_Dukky just wait it will do it by it self if the fish is close enough. did you get the longer landing net?

Im kinda new ti the game so 😅 yeah
So idk what fish its for
@@Official_Dukky You kind of want to scale it to the fish you are targeting. Smaller fish-smaller test, bigger fish bigger test. Gl with trophies!
