I did it with a fusion 3D scene on Y axis with transparency , I have an artifact when the offset reach 50% of the range and the softglow is on . That last during 1frame. if i blur the channel booleans on frame 71 I get rid of the artifact ... I guess there is a better way to do it Simon.
Yes, you're right that this exact same technique could be adapted to become a reveal/disintegrate. I'll put it on the list of things to look at demonstrating.
Yes, basically it's the exact same technique but using the (Position-derived) mask to create transparency rather than to mask between two grades of the shot. The edge techniques are the same too. Tutorial coming soon, I hope.
More of these great davinci resolve tutorials!❤
A holiday treat! Thank you Simon.
Very clever. Thank you Simon.
Another great tutorial. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing this amazing tutorial , keep doing more davinci tutorials like these
The high-level tutorials as usual :)
Very cool effect Simon. 👏
Thank you.

I 100% agree with your statement at 9m30s - Pretty sure NOBODY wants shrinkage!! >:O~ Just sayin...
True. Very true.
I have a request. Make a disintegration effect using a 3D model exported in exr. I feel like this recent video of yours is right along that lane.

Here's a version of this idea: ruclips.net/video/j8qBpaa90e0/видео.html
@@SimonUbsdell That was fast. Did you just use the BrightnessContrast node as a mask in the end to make parts of the model disappear?
