surely a waste of money.. it's hard to set it up again after factory reset. it took more than 3 hours for the repeater to get connected

Same, I connected once and now I reset it and it's literally impossible at the moment..... It does not even authorize my login details to connect to wifi. Just doesn't connect at all or even try.

@@michaelchivers3080 i found the solution. You need to change the security type to WPA2/PSK, if its already, then change to WPA/PSK. And if the problem occurs again in the future, change it again between these 2 options

Im able to connect via WPS. So problem solved I geuss. But still I want it to work though the app. The previous name of the extender (when it was connected) was Atenda263_Plus or 5G
It literally picks that as options to connect when I search it though the app. Like how does it even pick up itself to connect. I did reset it. 😂 Not sure if it makes sense but yes. I'll see what I can do. Thank you though.

same problem here. it should turn to blue after a few sec. but now after i reset its already more than an hour and still in orange light mode

@@rommelazul4587 I first downloaded MI home on the Google play store.I set up an account and I it picked up the device.I added the device and change the name etc and after ,it was still blinking orange then it stopped blinking.I pressed the reset button and it turned blue!

Hola tengo un problema con esto tengo en mi casa 100 mb de velocidad y el router está 4 metros masomenos del repetidor MI , cuando me conecto al repetidor solo me bota 8 mb max hasta 10 mb es muy poco... He visto que la mejor señal es 5ghz osea tengo dos señales una q es 4 ghz y 5 ghz es repetido solo agarra la de 4 ghz q es la más lenta mientras q la 5hgz la agarra mi cel por ejemplo y si arroja 100 Mb , alguien sabe cómo hacer para q el repetidor agarre totalmente los 100 Mb??
