Great car and perfect after sales service.
Love driving it in all conditions. It's the easiest car to drive in the stop and go traffic conditions. Also, for cruising on highways.

Well rounded review. Only statement that I don't agree with is that we can buy safari and Innova in same budget...top models of Innova and safari are way expensive than alcazar.
Quite a commanding narrative Aditya. The fluency with which you almost covered every bit of the car is really appreciable. Very honest and clear opinions can make a decision rather easy. I am planning (I am fr. Hyderabad) for the Signature, 6 seater, diesel, AT . As I am a passionate wildlife photographer, I make road trips to various National Parks and Reserves. Do you recommend the above trim for my purpose ? Of course I am a driving freak otherwise also at my age of 67.

Yes it is justified but only if you're okay with poor fuel economy
Alcazar is not as solid and powerful as xuv 700 is
Also there are many differences
But with the details you've given
The decision should be based upon fuel economy

Can you guide me? I want to buy petrol automatic 2.0 as my usage is less. Most of my driving will be in city. Is it powerful enough if my family of 5 adults and a kid travel into it for a trip to hills?
Also can it pull on highways for an overtake and also will it have sufficient power for acceleration after a slowdown, especially when fully occupied?

Yes sir, it has sufficient power for this kind of usage, but you can't expect very much torque upon acceleration, though for normal usage it can be fine.

Petrol can be fine but only if the monthly running is under 1500 kms
And i think xuv 700 could be fine for this but safari can provide better space and comfort
how is the third row seats for long journey how is the pickup in diesel signature top model in some videos there have mentioned pickup is gud for highway over take and moventain section

What is a better choice between Alcazr, Kia Karen's and MG Hector. Petrol automatic is the requirement.
Kia karens for seat comfort and proper third row seat if u have a big family.
Alcazar if u have a small family and want a proper 4/5 seater car and want premium feeling. Alcazar has more features than carens
Sorry cant say about mg hector i have not taken its test drive yet. Rest both cars are far better than xl6 / ertiga.😊

Hello. Wonderful review. I have booked petrol automatic signature. I have a query. Is this car powerful enough to carry four adults and a kid on a highway ride and occasional hill ride. ?
My major usage will be in the city.
What about acceleration after for example after a slowdown on a highway.

You might be able to witness the lag but it'll not be disastrous, though not very much powerful yet okay for normal usage
What about the mileage of petrol variant? We are confused about it. Difference in cost is just 40k which is tempting us to buy diesel.
@@vikramtalreja9 i think this decision should be based on your usage. If your running is more, let's say about 40 or 50 km per day or more diesel can be a good choice. My running is mostly on weekends and sometimes within a week. So petrol makes more sense for me. Second, diesel engine has more torque, so if you live in hilly areas then again ot will make more sense to buy diesel as it will have better pull than petrol which have less torque.
But all this i have said with my limited knowledge.
Plz do your own research based on what you actually want from a vehicle and not merely considering small price gap between the two as this vehicle is not cheap by any means.
@varun bhandari you're absolutely right brother, and you should consider your usage, the mileage will not be of more than 7-9 on petrol in city
@@TheVarun469 I understood all this. What I'm confused about which engine to buy 1.5l or 2.0l. if both engine would be same I definitely go for diesel variant. But now 2.0 giving power of 156 while diesel has 113 bhp. Hence, I'm concerned about the performance of the car when fully loaded.
Definitely car bit expensive but compare to other 6-7 seaters this car is 3-4 lakh cheaper especially Tata and mahindra which are nowhere close to what this car is providing. Only real competitor is kia carens.

Aur 7 seater me agar aapke leiye mileage zyada mahatva nahi rakhti toh aap safari, xuv 700 aur scorpio n ko bhi zaroor dekh sakte hain
Aur agar inse thoda zyada budget hai toh innova crysta behad hi shaandar vikalp hai
Which is best CAR to buy in 2022. Budget is 20 lakh.
Mostly City drive and will be going on long drive 4-5 times in a year.
Safety, Ride quality and Interior matters the Most.
If you can expand your budget to 22 lakhs then xuv700 ax7 else hector can be a very good option for supreme comfort. If you want resale and good mileage too while power is not the biggest concern then alcazar.

I'd suggest diesel, petrol feels bit more underpowered and the lack of torque is significant

Yes it's reliable and everything would be fine except the point where you'll feel that the engine is underpowered, which will happen only in hills and in situation where you'll be seating more than 5 people and luggage or 7 people in the car.
Even now its turbo petrol it will feel underpowered??

Sir, see there will be some issues with electronics or maybe with some minor other things too but nothing will be so major that would bother you in the long term as the engine is reliable and the hardware used is also very good, issues will also persist with alcazar too but major positives of safari over alcazar would be the engine, suspension, build quality and space overall including the 3rd row... Especially power and control.

Sir for that you'll have to contact different dealers and maybe you'll get it sooner by any one of them or by paying some premium on it

The vehicle has run 1500 km at average of 7 km per liter .
The vehicle was called for 1st service on 31/5/22
The service dept said vehicle will be like that up to 5000 km and then gradually it will increase .
At what kilo meter distance it will be good ? It is said that it is not certain , its new model .
The water jet for glass cleaning does not raise more than 6 inch . The engineer said that it will remain so as it has this much presure . I have used i20 , accent , and verna earlier . have used Ford fiesta and ford Endeavour . have ford sport , bmw and a toyota Glanza . The lowest km was Fort endeavour 10 km/ lit.
