Hey Bulu, Hmmm......choices are always limitless!! What you did is the right thing, eliminate those which dont suit your requirements, and then see what remains. Reasons for not suiting your requirements may be multiple - budget, features/lack thereof, colour options avbl, delivery time etc. One man's bread could be another man's poison, as the saying goes.!! Ride/drive safe, take care!!
I think this is a very good practical choice. People watch all these RUclips channels which compare 7 seater broadly and can't think on their own. This is a 5+2 car and definitely is VFM for the price it is at. It certainly delivers to the set of customers who have a specific set of requirements especially for cities it is a boon . I am also planning to take a 7 seater and cannot fathom why some label it to be a flop. Maybe they cant think their own or maybe this does not fit their requiremts but i feel it is a strong overall product. I would like to own an Indian brand but i still dont trust TATA and Mahindra to give me a peaceful after sales experience . Hyundai made a mistake of not differentiating Alcazar from Creta enough. Safety ratings of 3 stars discussed are of creta base model. Don't know if that's the same case with Alcazar with better safety features unless tested even though they share same platform. Hope NCAP does a crash testing for Alcazar as well so this assumptions can be avoided. I don't like the underpowered diesel motor but for most it is enough and that too with 20+kmpl mileage for a 7 seater. I believe, this is a good alternative to XUV 700 ( not for the power hungry) . It maybe the best choice for cities, people who need 7 seats only occasionally and prefer a larger bootspace . Maybe I will book one soon , maybe petrol. Let's see if they add ADAS soon enough.
All safety ratings are done at slow speeds. They don’t mean a thing for Indian roads, especially highways! At 100/110/120 that cars usually do on highways, safety is a joke and it revolves around other car driver, u and a bit on luck.
Congratulations. It is a very good decision. I bet you will not repent your buy. Since you use your car not more than 5yrs. Cons would be parts will be expensive, mileage will usually dip after 1lakh. All cars there will slightly decrease, korean cars it is bit more. Reliablity will be issue after 5yrs. Pros very smooth drive, feature rich, good service support.

If we Indians do not teach a lesson to these car companies then who else can do it, surprised that you did even remember the incident what happened when they posted on Kashmir issue in Pakistan, people say Indians have short memory and value of any Indian common people is 1kilo rice and 1 kilo daal they will change any side who give it to them free like in Punjab and Delhi
New xl6 actually becomes a very value for money alternative for anyone looking to buy now onwards, because saftlety to alcazar and xl6 dono ka hi same type ka hi hoga 2/3 stars
Xl6 is basically more or less the same as before just the minor tweaks and the chassis engine suspension steering response is nothing compared to Alcazar. Alcazar is way ahead of xl6 in term of build quality fit and finish and premiumness.

Thats the business model of Hyundai.. compromise slightly on safety and use the same money in giving extra features.. however At the end of the day it's your decision.. what others are saying should not matter.. congratulations for your new purchase.. but I would disagree with you on one point where you are comparing the safety of bike and car.. being a biker myself I know bike is not at all safe and riding safely is the best bet on Indian roads but when I am buying a car I would definitely not compromise on safety as I am gonna drive it with my family.. in this case I would have still gone for a higher safety rating compact SUV as its not very often that you do trips like leh Ladhak where you will need extra space for a nuclear family.

I own a carens diesel manual prestige model. Driven 2500kms in 1month. Awesome suspension, decent city mileage, awesome highway mileage (20+kmpl), decent features. Overall it was a good investment for me.
The most important part is never compromise on safety u might drive safe but not everyone... buject is what u decide but life can not be decided .. u can buy 10 cars as well... if ur safe atleast with strong body cars

Bhai absolutely no issues for Ladakh, now roads to Ladakh r excellent. Last time I did it on Nexon absolutely no issues. So Alacazar will do it easily. And waise bhi Ladakh jaise trips life main ek baat hothi hai
You should have opted for bharat registeration you only needed to pay around 25k to 28k for 2yrs and would have saved around 1lakh+ upfront and would have saved that much in loan. After 2yr you again have to pay 28k. Its for the transferable job people.koi b state pe use kar sakte ho

Ignore the kids who's gonna spam 3 star etc etc. This car is actually pretty strong compared to creta, it even has uhss on b pillar. So basically the 3 star rating doesn't apply to alcazar. Congrats bhai.
Safety vs practicality vs value for money this is a combination which most take into consideration while buying a car. At the end we have to choose what suits us the best. We have booked the 2022 baleno AMT top end model, simply because of our everday practical needs.
You are perfectly right. LED light are looking great, but will not compete with Halogen, because yellow lights is more sensitive to eyes than white light. Halogens are always better. 👍

Cars within 35 lakhs all led lights are not good and visibility is less. That’s why halogen light is good within that price bracket.
