  • www.mybackloop.com. Our invention, the Backloop is a truly portable spinal decompression device. It focuses on the discs in your spine which is where the most back pain and dysfunction start. Prevention is the key in today's healthcare environment and the Backloop allows you to prevent spinal degeneration from even starting because it induces motion into the spine and its discs.
    The Backloop improves posture, flexibility and decreases and stops pain. It is also particularly effective at targeting disc protrusions and herniations. Sitting all day at work compresses your spine and sets the stage for degeneration, pain and disc herniations. The Backloop is far superior to an inversion table and is a very portable and easy to travel with. Don't leave home without it.
    It even helps athletes - jump higher, run faster or just hit the golfball or baseball farther, whatever is important to you. Just being able to engage and enjoy life pain free makes the Backloop a great investment. Less expensive that an inversion table and far more functional; get your life back with the Backloop.
    About 40 of our patients participated in the pre-market trials, with outstanding results. All participants have reduced the frequency of their chiropractic care and are very pleased with the benefits and freedom the Backloop has given them.
    A series of outstanding self corrections and exercises videos are now posted to help you remain or stay pain free. These exercises are centered around The Backloop and walking correctly and will be particularly beneficial for individuals who do want to do preventative and proactive therapy in the comfort of there own home.
    Most medical offices charge between $50-$85 for a single spinal decompression treatment where with the Backloop, its pay once and treat forever. Everyone, regardless of their condition will benefit from the Backloop. Take advantage of the 90 day money back guarantee and change your life for the better.

I legit could not turn over in bed while sleeping without hip pain/thigh pain waking me up. I've been doing these movements 2-3 times a day and can't believe the instant relief. Bless you! The high hip is the shorter because the muscles are tighter and are pulling it higher. It's usually accompanied by shoulder retraction and overactive quadratus lumborum on the same side as the high hip. You should stretch that QL and strengthen the opposite one along with many other muscles.

    • @mybackloop
      @mybackloop  7 лет назад +1

      HI Tin Man
      Typically, but not always the higher hip side has a slightly rotated foot (leg) but not always. Commonly, the foot drops on this side as well. Any foot or knee issues on the left side. Try and find someone to check the hip height when you are standing.

    My hip seems strange in relationship to your description. If both legs are in reality the same length my high hip produces a short leg on that side. My low hip seems like the leg is longer. In fact I have placed a wedge in that shoe to make the short leg reach the ground which in the x-rays the short leg the hip is tipped up.

    • @mybackloop
      @mybackloop  8 лет назад +12

      +kfarrick No, the higher hip (pelvis) is ALWAYS the longer leg. Typically, the glut max is weaker on this side as well. Also true, but not always is the foot may flare out on the higher hip side. This foot may also be less functional (somethings flatter). Hope this helps.

    Do these exercises move the higher hip down or do they move the lower hip up higher? My right hip is higher than my left hip due to walking tip toed with my right foot for about 4 years while at home. My right heel use to get very dry so while at home I would put lotion on it & walk tip toed on it so the cream wouldn't rub off. Doing this for years made my right hip higher. I walk odd now too because of it.

    If right hip is the high hip, it will pull up the right leg more so right leg should be the short leg, right?

    • @mybackloop
      @mybackloop  8 лет назад

      No. The high hip is the longer leg side because of the rotation of the pelvis. . Using the right leg as the high hip means that the glute max has gone "weak" and allowed the right pelvis (AS) to rotate forward. Since the hip doesn't connect into the pelvis dead center, when it rotates forward, the portion of the hip parallel to the ground is now higher than before rotation, therefore causing the higher hip and the apparent longer leg while lying face up to on the right side.

    • @psy9199
      @psy9199 6 лет назад

      Michael Flading because your hips is high on right, than that make your feet longer because it need to be longer to balance your left feet

    • @lovestheh20

      It's more of a visual interpretation of a pelvic rotation. The hip typically isn't high, but rotated anteriorly appearing to look higher.

      In method 1, are you supposed to apply pressure when you let your knee bend sideways? On the low hip it just "falls down" but on the high hip it takes effort to bend it. And will this help me if it has caused low shoulder on the high hip side, or do you know something else that will?

  • @PieterJanNotebaart

    The high hip is the long leg? Isn't it the short leg then?

    • @bekbek8848

      High hip makes the attached leg look shorter. But in fact that leg is longer once you unlock it

  • @PermacultureHomestead

    far too many generalizations in this video, while this method may 'correct' the mechanical problem at the time, it does not address the cause or fix the pelvic instability long term

    • @mybackloop

      It is hard to put everything is a single video...I agree that the glute max on the high hip side needs to be strengthened for ultimate success.

    I like the framework here for understanding anterior rotation. The blocks were something I was recently figuring out on my own regards to sleeping next to a heavy man to my supine left. My hips fall toward his weight so in the morning I place a flat pillow under my left seat bone and let things open up for about 5-10 min. Dont you think this could be a common cause for this common problem? I have been very tempted to move up to a king bed with 2 twin mattresses.

    Can you explain the rational of the first exercise you had the girl perform on how those exercises will correct the pelvic rotation seen by this leg length discrepancy? I’m very curious about it. I’ve seen using the blocks as a passive treatment for correcting hip rotation, I just haven’t seen that particular exercise. Thank you.

    I have idiopathic scoliosis and my left hip is slight higher. it looks like it sticks out to the left which I guess in turn means it’s higher. I did this ten times and it didn’t work completely. i wasn’t sure if I saw a difference. is this something that will work overtime??? I noticed I got scoliosis shortly after I got a shifted tailbone injury and my doctors think that’s not the cause of my scoliosis but I think otherwise. I was completely even until I got kicked in my lower back by a friend as a joke and shifted my tailbone inward. couple months later I noticed my left rib sticking out far and weird and was diagnosed with scoliosis. thoughts please?

    Hello doctor , I have my right hip high and right leg longer and whenever I do leg workout like squat or dead lift my si joint gets inflamed. When I am trying the rotation exercise you have demonstrated I immediately get cramp in near hamstring of my right leg always , and I also notice my left leg is weaker compared to right leg in strength and size maybe because right leg is doing more work
    Can you please tell me why I get cramps when I try to rotate my right leg inwards ?
    Thank you

    will this help IT band syndrome?

    • @mybackloop
      @mybackloop  6 лет назад

      Kevin, it should help but IT band issues are typically a weak pelvic floor causing entrapment of the obturator nerve which innerates the adductors. The feet also affect this becasue the feet typically screw up the glute medius which stabilizes the hip. When the hip is unstable, the IT band tightens trying to stabilize the hip. Kegel exercises help the pelvic floor a lot.

    Thanks for the video Doc, but I have a question. It seems to me, I have exactly the problem highlited on the video, right side higher hip, but I reckon that with the first exercises I am twisting my hip toward the left side, where there is the lower hip, whereas with the blocks exercises I am turning the hip towards the opposite side. Isn'it this a contradiction? Thank a lot.

    Thank you so much for sharing. You mentioned to "Stretch out right hip flexors and strengthen glute and abs on the right coupled with the high hip correction", how about tight QL, erector and lat? I feel they are very tight and it seems they pull my pelvis up. Your another video of walking is helpful for glute Max, would you please inform us about abs and flexors? Thanks a lot in advance.
