When my late husband was diagnosed with cancer, I remember the “I choose you. I’m beside you in this.” moment. Even though death came 13 months later, I have no regrets to investing in mature love.

I was married 2.5 years when my husband left. We got a divorce then he died of alcoholism. I’m raising our son by myself. I had zero idea about marriage, this stuff should be taught to everyone! You could all write a book on this with husbands too x

I had none of this, way back when. This is all so rich and valuable!

This is the guidance we all needed along time ago and I'm sending it to my daughters, the next generation

I have been widowed from a young age and its been 31 years since my husband passed on to glory. I pray for an equally yoked man of God to come into my life. A man that loves Jesus first and then me! A man that loves Kingdom work for Jesus! This I pray! Thank you for these teachings, as I’m preparing for a new season! Much love to you all!

Wow!…..Married 40 yrs. Body changes, of course, completeness…..equals oneness! I choose my husband no matter what……prostate cancer thought it would steal our sex life but I laugh at the devil!!! Intimacy goes far beyond sex. I love the most about my husband…..his tenderness and acceptance of me and others. A true fathers heart! A big journey since my husband grew up without one.

I had the picture of climbing in the mountains. It is not always the same person which first and the other follows. Also it switches of who is responsible for securing the rope. Marriage is needed for special team efforts

"I'm not longer 'in love' with you" is lust. Lust doesn't show up over night, it brews over years of lusting after something you don't have and if it's suppressed, and nurtured rather than confessed to God and dealt with, asking God to replace it with love for what's in front of me, then it will eventually come out!

I was told if there was any content tion it was the wife's fault as she was not submissive enough. The wife had to adapt to her husband's needs even it causes her physical or emotional pain.

God said "I hate divorce". So staying in a marriage and loving your partner because your divine husband is God, and out of love for who God is... is fine right? It's also selfless but it seems more satisfying? Because God will never let us down. We are first and foremost married to him. Forever. Marriage here is an image afterall. A beloved replica.
