@@WuKuVex ruclips.net/video/FkH6itxRgig/видео.html here is a link to a video of Mix Master Mike explaining how he does it. Even though you can see his hands and everything it’s still an amazing feat that I can’t wrap my head around.
The fact that this is a live recording shows how much the beastie boys AND mix masta mike are legendary
I honestly thought that the BB lost a step after Paul’s Boutique (with the exception of a few tracks). This track is sick…back to Hip Hop roots. Love it. And welcome to the genius of Mix Master Mike
"Rappers spit rhymes that are mostly illegal. MCees spit rhymes to uplift their people." KRS-One.
Knowledge reigning supreme over nearly everyone.
Cannot believe how these chaps were not Included in a programme about early hip hop on UK TV it was fuckin criminal they was there near enough at the beginning
As I have said before these chaps were there at the beginning of it all with my heroes
Krs one Afrika bambatta, Run Dmc ,Roxanne shante,Grandmaster Flash ,kool herc , enough said
Still one of my favorite Beastie Boys songs and videos. Raw and real, just pure hip hop
No matter the decade or date, this shit was epic! Unbelievable skill from Mix Master Mike.
Mix Master Mike is awesome !!!!!!!
"My name is Ad Rock and I'm a scorpio.".
No wonder why I love him.
The purest most authentic hip hop ever , Thank God I was here when they were.
The Beastie Boys are good rappers and musicians, and a good trio, but the thing about the group that really stands out as time goes by is that Mixmaster Mike is like the greatest DJ of all time, an incandescent talent who towers over everyone else who does what he does. I mean good lord, he doesn't even use headphones. Dude knows the records so totally he just throws it down and does it all live.
The swagger and energy of The Beastie Boys will never be repeated again in hip hop/rap.
As a member of Gen Z, I thank my dad for showing me this gold
Gen X and Millennials had the best music change my mind
I'm Gen Z too, from when I was really young I knew who the Beastie Boys were and listened to their songs but until recently I really started to listen to them more. My parents hate them TwT I thought the older generations would be happy us younger generations are listening to this :(
The injustice of the loss. This is a group I was looking forward to growing old with, now it's memories forever.
One of the Illlest Beastie songs ever!
My forever and ever favorite Beastie Boys track! ☺️😍
I don't see how you can pick just one to call your favorite theirs no way I could
@@bless520 I can see why you'd say that but for me this is my #1, I've listened to this song on loop for the last 5 hours and still love it, not many other songs I can say about that...but this one and "Girls!" I can listen over and over to.
Oct 25th 2024 and still one of the freshest sounds around....
Only the beasties can go 2 min. into a video without a word said. They always have great videos to their songs ....
No blings just pure talent. ❤❤❤😢
Cool guys who perform hip-hop and rock
Still heartbroken over MCA's death but stoked my 9 year old is obsessed with the Beasties. Second anniversary of his death in two days from now. Respect.
watching this makes me feel like i’m in the room with them, it feels so raw yet so perfect to a tee.
OG BEASTIE BOYS#1
Long live the Beastie Boys.
3 MCs, 1 DJ, and 1 really sad 13 year old boy trying to accept the fact that he will never see these geniuses perform.
Don’t worry I’m 39 and passed up so many opportunities to go see them. We’ve still got the music to listen to at least.
same here bro
Just close your eyes and believe enjoying the music is 99% lots of people have been to a concert and don't get it. I'm lucky to see the bestie boys 2 times live in Australia 🇦🇺 they always delivered
I saw them when I was 13 back in 03 at Coachella fest, best two days of my life and one if not The best line ups of Coachella fest ever~
I’ll tell you this, you know how they have multi stage concerts, as soon as people hear one riff from their guitar everyone is watching them. They were awesome son.
MC bails out like a god damn ghostbuster.
I miss these guys. so great.
Put this on repeat.... Because this never gets old.
I’m a metal head but I freaking love the Beastie Boys
its not about genres, Its about skills and authenticity. When you see someone skilled in action there is no other way than give respect.
So am I I listen to all genres not just metal
well they have some songs that could labeled as metal
their early stuff is punk/hc
All metal heads from my generation 80's era love the beastie boys!
There is no words in any language that can describe how perfect this song is
I got to snowboard with the beastie boys back in '96 (junior in high school), i ran into them in Tahoe while riding and did a run with them. I was a massive fan, it was one if the cooler things that happened to me back then. I think it was at Northstar, but it's been a few decades so im not sure anymore
That is awesome❤❤❤
I can’t even imagine how dope that was!
Shenanigans!
if beastie boys came out today brand new...holy crap...they would blow everything away!!! every rapper would be blown away by these guys....these dudes are truly legends of both rock and rap!!!....pure talent...pure legends...you have to respect!!! these are gods in this genre!!!!
This is a work of art
Dunno how many times I've watched this, but it is one of BB's masterpieces.
There is so much genius in this video
Historical shit poppin off!🤘
