The governments are with Ukraine. It's called being realistic. The Russian army's reputation has taken a battering and the competence of Russian military decision making likewise. Since Putin's own 'political survival' has been questioned for the first time and since Putin has been displaying paranoia and is surrounded by people either afraid to tell him the truth, or people who aren't even capable of knowing what the truth is, direct military intervention is extremely risky. There is no guarantee that under these conditions Putin will back down. Previously he did on two occasions, but this time his own position is weaker and that means he's more volatile and may be less reasonable in assessing his options.

But now seem it has shifted to the Ukranian Armed forces. Be aware and understand the enemy is still there, they still have in superior numbers and equipment. Go into each battle with proper plan, and fight as a unit. I hope peace return soon to Ukraine. Stay focus and Good luck!

I hear what you're saying but in this case the Russian army was duped into this war.....they were told it was a military exercise and some weren't even aware they were in Ukraine! Truth be told, I pity the Russians because they are being discarded with no regard for their lives by a power-hungry dictating tyrant of an asshole by the name of Putin! This isn't Russia, this is Putin and as much as this sounds odd, I think the Russian army is almost as much a victim as the Ukrainians. They're also being told they're fighting neo Nazi's and other lies. Putin has ensured himself a place in history as yet another monster, him and Stalin and Hitler and Mao, etc

I never understood how some human beings are capable of rationalizing murder by proclaiming themselves or their cause to be "just".
I always thought killing someone was wrong, even if you hate them. Why does religion teach people that their supernatural magic creator wants some people to suffer horrible and painful deaths because you disagree with them or look different or talk different?
Something is wrong with you if you think you can ever justify murdering someone. "But what if they are trying to take your life" is just third grade stupid. Killing humans is giving up on your own humanity.

"Mutilated corpses of children found in cellar, booby-trapped bodies strewn in roads and civilians executed with their hands and feet bound: Putin's war crimes are revealed as his troops flee Kyiv.
Territorial defence fighters told The Times they found the mutilated bodies of 18 people, including women and children in a cellar.
The town's mayor, Anatoly Fedoruk, last night said: 'We have already buried 280 people in mass graves.'
The corpses of at least 20 men in civilian clothes were found lying along a single residential street. One had his hands tied behind his back with white cloth. A Ukrainian passport lay on the ground nearby.
'All these people were shot, killed, in the back of the head,' Mr Fedoruk said.
He claimed some of the victims had tried to cross the Buchanka river to Ukrainian-controlled territory and that entire families had perished, including 'children, women, grandmothers. These are the consequences of Russian occupation,' he added.
Kira Rudik, an MP, posted a video of the horrifying scene on Twitter and wrote: 'Russians were killing people with their hands tied behind their backs and left the bodies near the road. I am shaking.'
Bucha, a suburban town of 28,000 people, has been left devastated by the fighting.
Shell explosions have blown gaping holes in apartment blocks and crushed cars litter the streets, according to the first journalists to reach the town.
Sixteen of the 20 corpses found on one street were lying either on the pavement or by the verge. Three were sprawled in the middle of the road and another was lying in the courtyard of a house. One appeared to have been killed as he rode his bicycle.
All were wearing civilian clothes, including jackets or tracksuit tops, jeans or jogging bottoms, and trainers or boots.
The mayor also told Al Jazeera that it had not been possible to collect a further 22 bodies strewn across the street due to fears Russian soldiers may have booby-trapped the corpses with mines.
Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhaylo Podolyak shared graphic images of civilians laying dead in the streets of Bucha with their hands tied behind their backs.
“These people were not in the military. They had no weapons. They posed no threat. How many more such cases are happening right now in the occupied territories?” he wrote.
Illia Ponomarenko, a defence reporter with The Kyiv Independent, confirmed people had been “executed” in Bucha.
“You did it. You are all invovled. You allowed it,” Ponomarenko told the Russians.
“In the Kyiv region alone, there are still a lot of cities and villages in ruins and with mountains of corpses on the streets.
“Live as you wish with this knowledge until the end of your days.”"

Now that Putin has authorized drafting more kids into the military this isn't going to end well for Putin.

For example “Cancel Culture” was made to prevent us from speaking our minds and possibly speaking out the truth on many subjects but now because of cancel culture we are being trained to think alike. If we have a different opinion and speak out we will be punished and that’s not how America was built. I’m sorry to say this but the United States is as corrupt as Russia. Glory to Ukraine though I have a lot of respect for the soldiers putting their lives on the line but don’t be fooled thinking America is this great country because we are not. We are the only country in the world that can dictate who we want to invade. America has more blood on their hands or as much as Germany when hitler was ruling and as corrupt as any other top corrupt country in the world. I wouldn’t be surprised if I lost my job for speaking my mind. That’s what Cancel culture does it prevents us from speaking differently then others and it needs to be shut down. Do not be fooled and educate yourself.

But at the same time, he knew they were trying to kill him. When got back from his TOD he said he would often find himself skirting walls without even realizing he actually was. In his age and before his death he would sometimes give us a story or two and convey the sheer horror of war that followed him to his dying day.

He was describing how they had pretty much finished taking the town, building by building (I think it was Ortona) and it was one of the last battles, and a German soldier came out from some rubble. He was bleeding badly because he had been hit in the face and lost both of his eyes, but he was still screaming and advancing, but he still had to kill him, because he was still armed and firing wildy even though he couldn't see. He said that killing that one soldier still haunted him, and that was 50 years later.

This should have been a longer interview. First time I see one of the soldiers not only speak quite correct english, but also documenting moments in this awful war. So many mouths of political "Leaders" are full of "We are sending this and that" but this guy is just letting everyone know that they don't have enough weaponry? Where are all the millions going to? Where is all the armory that we see on every NATO meeting they pledge to send them? My goodness, these brave guys need a real help, not just a politician! Slava Ukraina!

They have the most wicked weapons right now and Joe Biden just proposed he's sending another 3 billion worth into Ukraine yesterday.

Arm their civillians with no real training or protection and let them roam the street so an actual army can destroy them with ease. That's exactly what they did in WW2 and WW1 right?
