Can I just thank the people who said lovely things about my music. Hopefully see some of you when we (musicians) are allowed to perform on a stage again.
This is a week old, but I just wanted to say how cool it is to see someone with your name! :) I live in the US, Florida, and I'm dating my very own Tim Moon!! I can't wait to show him this. He hasn't met too many other people with the Moon name! Your music is incredible. Thanks for the super chill vibes!
Gail: wow 🥰✨look at this gorgeous fairy tale piece of pottery guys✨🌈🧚🏻♀️ Alex in the background: I hope we don’t find the rest of the human ahahaha I love you guys
I miss archaeology so much. It was half of my minor in college and I was so lucky to be able to go on a 3 week dig in Macedonia several years ago. This video takes me back to mornings spent digging and afternoons spent washing sherds, but my absolute favorite was toward the end of the trip, sitting around piecing pottery and gluing them back together where we could. Because many of the sherds were coming out of a cistern (rather than a midden) where it’s likely much of the pottery would have went in accidentally and whole, we were able to to come up with quite a few mostly complete pieces. So, so cool.
June perfume, by Saville of London, was my late Mum’s favourite. As a child, in the late 1950s, I loved the little bottles. Later examples than the ones you found, had little round white tops with tiny little rubber bungs underneath. Once the bottle was empty, Mum would let me have it and I’d fill it with water and pretend I had my own perfume. I can still recall the scent to this day! 😊 xx
That's lovely, I'm glad someone remembers it as I wasnt able to find any records of it...I imagined it to be part of an extravagant Tweleve month set of scents so have been looking for the other months!! haha - I'll stop looking now😂
You two find the same things at the same time so often that I have gone from, "What are the chances?", to "Of course!". It's beyond coincidence. Great finds today, as always!
I just found your channel and love it. I've wanted to explore rubbish heaps since I was about 10 and was never allowed. I am now 74 and you provide the best possible experience for me! Love the music and the history of the items.
Hello ladies from Australia. I love your films on RUclips. You are both very talented. I get just as excited as you'd when you find something amazing. Please take care and stay safe.
My Dad's answer to your patented-curbside-sink was a WWII surplus metal gasoline tank welded into a wheel well of our station wagon. The filler tube with its screw-on cap protruded through the top of the wheel well inside the car. He added a pipe system to the bottom of the can with a faucet on the other end. The faucet was then attached under the back bumper outside. Running water!
Ladies, you brighten so many lives. Thank you. Gifts and invites to bottle dumps are proof of that. You certainly make my days so much more joyful. In this changing world you both are a constant smile and light. 🦋
There’s so many comments to read through since I just caught your video - but the pink multi-colored bead is Czechoslovakian and likely dates anywhere from the turn of the 19/20th century to around the 1920’s. Your channel is quickly becoming my favorite mudlarking channel. I don’t know how you both maintain such a positive outlook but it’s so terrific to watch. I admire very much the things you both create. I too make jewelry and odds and ends. ❤️ from Michigan, USA.
Dear Gail and Alex - I sent the Dremel accessories as a small token of appreciation for your talent and hard work. I really look forward to your videos and accompanying you on your adventures. Excited to see the collaboration with Andy and his glassworks as well!
Hi ladies. I have been watching you now for a few months. I am in Melbourne Australia and have a small business, where I make art from collected sea glass, pebbles, sea shells, pottery and driftwood.(@collectedbyhand) Absolutely love watching your videos and it makes me smile every time I see you get excited over a find. Very jealous of the fragments of pottery in today's video. Keep up the good work. Well done and thank you both.
HI ALEX AND GAIL!! THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO, IT'S INSPIRING TO SEE ALL YOU FIND. I LOVE THE TINY BOTTLES AND THE BEADS AND THE FRAGMENTS OF GLASS PLATES AND BOWLS YOU FIND WITH LOVELY COLOURS AND PATTERNS. LOVE THE STORY PLATES OUT THERE. EVEN THE STORY FABRICS YOU CAN GET OF FAMOUS STORIES LIKE GOLDIELOCKS AND THE THREE BEARS ETC. THEY USE THEM FOR QUILTS. LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE YOUR CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS YOU MAKE. WELL THANKS AGAIN AND STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY. ❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💋💋💋
Milton is still in shops today.i used to soak my babies towelling nappies in a diluted solution then boil them with fairy washing powder.it was a proud thing to have comments from neighbours on your Snow White nappies ,blowing dry on the washing line.nice video again .thankyou.sue.
Hi ladies. The Scottish Gems book is my "thank you" to you both for keeping me sane during these trying times. I really look forward to your foraging adventures and it is a pleasure to come along with you. Thank you so very much xxx
Oh Wendy! Thank you so much! We actually went to visit one of the locations for Scottish agate that was listed in that book today, in fact we just got back 😊 Thank you again, we will cherish it xx
Yes, isn't it funny that everone that watches your videos, from all around the world, loves you and apprieciates what you do. They have all found you on line. and the ones that haven't yet, will soon, I'm sure ! It is truely a small world and to see how much love and support people have for you is truely inspiring.
I found a Roman pot shard with his fingerprint on it .. The maker has slid his finger along and stopped leaving his whole finger print . amazing . take care girls.xx
Yay Tim Moon👍👏🤸🏿♀️🤸🏿♀️!!! Such absolutely beautiful music, sir😍!!! Wow 😲, that is really a large doll's leg in comparison to the ones you normally find. It would be so very cool to have seen the complete doll👍. And how simply lovely for those generous gentlemen to allow you both permission to "bottle lark/ mudlark 🤔 alongside them. 👏Well done, guys🍻!!! Hoping you and your family and friends are still healthy and safe now that the UK is relaxing restrictions 🤞. Thank you for taking the time and effort for this wonderful finds adventure. ☮️🕉️☺️🤗🤭😘.
The melted small lemonade bottle is by Chivers. They are still going today and make Chivers fruit jellies. What a privilege to be at that dump. I'd never leave.
That tooth is a hoot! I think it was pulled from a very sore mouth. My dad is 91,he will be 92 on new year's Eve. He comes l from a family of ten kids ,two sets of twins. He was one. Two girls and eight boys. He has told me many stories about pulling teeth. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! I enjoyed this so, so much! Thank you, Tim Moon! The music is just lovely! Yay for going to a bottle dump of any kind (I'm a fan)! Luvu guys!
The June perfume bottles were my favorite of your finds because I remember seeing the recovered Adolphee Saalfeld perfume sample bottles at a Titanic artifact exhibit. Amazing they were found still intact after being at the bottom of the ocean for so long.
Hello again Ladies, Once again you enhance a beautiful summers' day with the melodic sounds of your beautiful voices, and your wonderful adventures. I look at your collections and think of all the fantastic memories you've created, and of course all the joy you've brought to your devoted followers. As for me, thank you so much, and please be safe, be careful, and continue your wonderful adventures for all of us, who will, sadly never have the opportunity to join you. Too soon winter will be tearing across New England and I for one, will seek shelter and solitude in the warmth of your smiles and your wonderful videos. Thank you ever so much. Gob Bless, p.s. England forever, and Scotland a wee bit longer!!!
Love the bottles and jars, I wish we still used glass and pottery much more. I often rinse out jars and reuse around the house. We do have great doorstop recycling for glassware but sometimes they're just too nice to put in the bin! 🍶❤️ Also love the knight pottery and the fingerprint on the huge stopper. Locally we have a vintage emporium at a local mill, I love having a mooch around, it's like a huge treasure trove! I would think you would both love it, if you are ever near Stockport! Thank you ladies x x
I think the lead animal is a sheep, looking at the tail. I love that bead. They were really cool finds from there. Thankyou for sharing your search & finds.
You two make a great team it's wonderful to see a mother and daughter do something that they are so passionate about and truly enjoy! Something cool you can do with the broken dishes marbles and anything esle you think is cool attach them ( glue works good for most things } to plywood, paneling or what ever you might have handy it's enjoyable to make you and others will enjoy looking at it for years to come! Great video keep up the good work and be safe out there!

Hello Alex and Gail, I am so happy on Sunday to look forward to your weekly adventure! Love the new music! Also that your new friends shared an amazing bottle site with you! Thanks again ! Can't wait to see what you have created! Both of you are so talented! Be safe big hugs xxJanice 🇨🇦❤️
Lots of great finds. Here in the U.S. there used to be an over counter med called "Carters Little Liver Pills. They came in a vial like yours until the '50s or early 60".

I used to love digging in old bottle dumps with dad's help. The problem is I've accumulated that many bottles I don't know what to do with them any more. We even found two different coloured, glazed clay ginger jars. So cool!
Another lovely video with you ladies finding precious treasures 💕. The warped bottles have been exposed to heat and called bonfire glass. It makes for interesting beautiful glass. Love the music!!! Happy Sunday to you both! 🌻💞
I've just looked it up the number 8 is abundance, these are signs from your angels. So maybe you had this last year with finding the first domino, you are going to have abundance again. So good luck.

Good heavens! The mother lode of 100 year old bottles, beads, and, of all things, a human tooth! Lots of cool old treasures. Thanks for a cool video! Lovely scenery at the beginning of the video!
I'm glad you've added the links in this video and included the Amazon wishlist as well! That's such an easy way for us fans to help out so we can continue to enjoy your adventures! Stay safe on your journeys! ~ from, across the pond!
Thank you so much for taking us with you on your adventures! I am so envious of where you live and the access to the finds, both natural and man made but so glad we get to watch you, I do hope that we get to see what you do with your finds soon, hopefully some jewelry from those agates! Much love and happy hunting, Ladies! From your vicarious friend in Wisconsin (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
A lovely video as usual. I really thought the collection of green bottles were beautiful. The red base that you found would look really pretty combined with some of the brightly colored pottery pieces that you found. A nice chunky piece. Loving your videos, y'all are doing an outstanding job. I wait Sundays for your videos to appear❤
geja tjeerdsma Wait..... you may not have bottle dumps, but old houses didn’t have indoor plumbing. So they used outhouses. Pretty sure they had those. Watch Aquachigger’s shows. He digs all kind of these spots out all the time. Pretty sure you can find some old abandoned sites somewhere? The only thing I might think would be an exception is due to Holland’s high water table, might be an impediment to this.
You both make me SMILE! Thank you SO MUCH for these delightful videos. I absolutely love how excited you get about your finds...and also that you create things from them. Which do you love the most? The finding of treasures OR the creative part afterwards????
Thank you, as always a fantastic video.☮️🇨🇦I giggled when Gail said “that’s hideous but good”. I love the wonky bottles. Imagine someone seeing the music in your souls, Tim Moon magnificent 🎶
Wow another beautiful vid ladies I always look forward to them on a Sunday, I love when you go to bottle dumps I love to see all the different bottles and to think someone touched them items personally not just when made but they were part of someone life and story at one point and now there part of yours ❤️❤️❤️ amazing thank you
God's telling you to you are in synchronicity with your righteous path....on your best mark...that is how it feels. So enjoyable to watch and see all you get and do...go team!
Great job again , so grateful to be able to go on these adventures adventures 🌞. My daughter and I so love seeing all the amazing finds from history ..... Treasure !!!!! My daughter often says it ....🌸🌞🌀🧚🏼♀️⚡️💕
I am so happy to see that you show how much you care for others by posting that you social distance THANK YOU...I wish my countrymen here in the USA cared as much. Love ur videos.
Some really lovely finds ladies! I have also found one of the fuse holders and used it as a perch on a wall hanging bird feeding/bathing station that I made from mosaicing some of my strange and larger finds and half bowls etc for the garden. I never knew what it was so was glued to the screen when you were explaining it. I also found one of the June bottles and drew a blank when looking for information. (Manchester finds) some of my mysteries now solved 😉Thank you so much. Take care... xxx
Wow some really nice finds. That patterned bead is lovely. I'm in love with those little green jars. Interesting to have the star of David on the bottle stopper too. It is a molar ( a grinding tooth), Incisors are at the front & taper towards the front & canines look pointy at the end. There seems to be plaque on the root so the root would have been exposed & the gum receded before it fel out or was pulled, it would have been loose too
I remember having seen the red berry beads before ? may be they off Holy decoration for Christmas cake, would have had fine wire waxed paper holy leaves 💖👍😃
Can I just thank the people who said lovely things about my music. Hopefully see some of you when we (musicians) are allowed to perform on a stage again.
Is the music on this video yours? Are you the one responsible for the delightful tunes on NM other videos ?
The music on this video is all myself, composed and performed. Not on previous episodes though.
Thank you so much for sharing your talent🥰 Your music was wonderful!👏🏽☺️
Tim Moon, it is quite beautiful.
This is a week old, but I just wanted to say how cool it is to see someone with your name! :) I live in the US, Florida, and I'm dating my very own Tim Moon!! I can't wait to show him this. He hasn't met too many other people with the Moon name!

Just love when you guys say “it’s a bead!” Just love it. You’re both so adventurous. Your fellow mudlarkers are cool too.

You ladies are a joy to watch! Thank you so much for all your hard work!!
So nice that the two shards with the knight actually matched.
How sweet Tim Moon for the music you made for Northern Mublarks!
Wow!

Lots of great finds. Here in the U.S. there used to be an over counter med called "Carters Little Liver Pills. They came in a vial like yours until the '50s or early 60".
Motorcycle Mikel - we had Carter’s Liver Pills here in the UK as well. I can remember seeing them in my parents’ medicine cabinet - late ‘50s early ‘60s 😊 If i remember correctly, they were yellow in colour 😊.
Love to see you digging in bottle dumps. Nice of the guys to share their secret place with you. Another great film - thank you!
In Chinese culture, the number 8 is actually considered lucky. Lol.
I was just checking if you had upload a video today! Sundays are for northern mudlarks❤🥰🙏🏻
I love a Sunday evening with both of you. The bottles are amazing and I love the doll leg. I once found a human tooth whilst mudlarking in Edinburgh by the river, But confess it gave me the whimwhams lol 😂

I watch your longer videos over the span of a couple nights before I sleep and it always puts me in a good mood!
There are two types of women; those who cry over a chipped nail and those who aren't afraid to get dirt under them. I prefer the latter! 😁♥️
@Marilyn Dreamwalker Mejorado In Indonesia they are digging up big pieces of gold some as big as a tennis ball.
Lovely hands, the signs of a true artist.
Bring from the US it it always fun to watch digs or hunts in other countries. Thanks for sharing.

That's nice of the guys. My son would do anything to dig at a bottledump. He collects bottles. But sadly enough we don't have those in Holland.😭

Awesome finds Thank you for sharing ❤️🦋
The Celtic style music at the beginning really, appeals to some innermost aspect of my self.
Love your enthusiasm, followed by your informative research. The night could it be Don Quixote ?
Some really lovely finds ladies! I have also found one of the fuse holders and used it as a perch on a wall hanging bird feeding/bathing station that I made from mosaicing some of my strange and larger finds and half bowls etc for the garden. I never knew what it was so was glued to the screen when you were explaining it. I also found one of the June bottles and drew a blank when looking for information. (Manchester finds) some of my mysteries now solved 😉Thank you so much. Take care... xxx
It would make a good perch! xx
Wow some really nice finds.
That patterned bead is lovely.
I'm in love with those little green jars.
Interesting to have the star of David on the bottle stopper too.
It is a molar ( a grinding tooth), Incisors are at the front & taper towards the front & canines look pointy at the end. There seems to be plaque on the root so the root would have been exposed & the gum receded before it fel out or was pulled, it would have been loose too
hi girls,

stay healthy girls x

The two "smooshed " glass bottles look like something from a Tim Burton movie, perhaps you could call them from the Tim Burton "collection!"
Ah yes! We hadn't thought of them like that x
I love the white jars.
