It was magick!
The band started playing,
made the crowd sway.
Bodies started working,
unity was emerging,
ritually converting
hundreds of people,
divergent beings,
lines converging,
spirits merging
to a singular being.
The band was united,
drums and guitars loud,
the liberation of sounds
colliding with eardrums,
hypnotising the crowd.
Bodies moved, moshing
hitting side to side.
Many buried emotions,
from their deep hides,
came back to life.
The poetic phrases,
skilfully intonated,
opened the senses,
tore down the fences,
letting down defences.
The air was energized,
everybody smiled, and
if you watched closely,
you could see tears of joy
appearing in many eyes.
Oh fucking yes! What a refreshing and monstrous sound. Reminds me of so many bits of my youth and punk rock, Zappa, Lou Reed, There's just so much goodness going on. I hope you guys get to tour the US because we all need a good musical enema here! Turn it UP!
