It's been awhile since I saw this film, but I do hope they kept in Jason screaming. It's a nice touch to the character that something can actually harm him after being half-zombiefied.
myers dies from one freakin knie wound, i dont know, but in the movies, jason takes a punding, and always comes back, jason is hung, then stabbed by his machete and still AND thrown into a lake comes back for more.
@deadkitn - Nah, in the movie, only the giant hands pull him down. Here (it's hard to see), the hands come up first, but then you see these little tree root looking demonds pushing him down.
Actually in the film version you don't get to see the little demon that's on Jason's back. The big foam hands just grab him and pull him down. So, they didn't cut much from this scene at all...
Jason X came out before Freddy Vs. Jason. But Freddy Vs. Jason was in the works. It was being written for such a long time, that the producers allowed another movie to be made, allowing the Friday The 13th franchise to keep alive while FvJ was awaiting release. As I remember, the events of Jason X began in 2008 with him being captured and frozen, a couple of years after FvJ was supposed to happen. I spend too much time watching horror flicks.
In Jason X, he is unexplicably re-incarnated. In FvJ, Freddy summons Jason from hell and thats how he comes back to life. (if thats what you were asking)
no it's actually a different ending...notice the demon on jason's back in this clip at the very end...that's not in the movie and also if i remember correctly it's the chick who kicks the knife into him, this clip shows the guy doing it
This is before the scene with Freddy's hand (which may have been included anyway). The difference here is the cheesy puppet-demon things dragging him down. In the released version you don't see them, only the large hands.
but no subtitle (if any) has been announced for this new film. The project was on hold while rights issues were dealt with. Now it appears that those issues have been worked out, with the Platinum Dunes producers saying that the film will be a Paramount/New Line co-production and might be ready for release near the end of 2008.
they did. This was in 1993 and FvsJ was in 2003. Freddy brought Jason out of hell and I think Jason X (hated that one too along with this) took place afterwards since it was 2010-2455. FvsJ was the best of these movies New Line made. it wasn't great, but at least Jason was more like Jason then in here.
exactly. if you think about it, jason x doesn't really count. it's like if fvj was next because in freddy's dead the final nightmare, he dies and is sent to hell. then jason is next to go to hell then freddy takes the mask then leads to fvj. that's how i think of it.
but is no longer involved. Per producer Brad Fuller, the new film will not be a direct sequel to Freddy vs. Jason or Jason X, but instead seems to be a remake/reimagining of the first 3-4 films of the series. New Line owns the Friday the 13th title,
it wasn't the first the one... in the first two movies he wore a bag over his head with one eye hole. it started at the third movie that he wore a goalie's mask.
@Nedyah74 No. the worst is the one when Jason goes to space and he wears that ridiculous spaceship outfit. What were they thinking when they made that mess.
@theaxeman360, his mom was a sick puppy too, she was trying to avenenge Jasons death, the thing is that of all the people she killed only one of the MIGHT have been on at the camp at the time he drown, all of the others were just a bunch of kids (one of whom was a young Kevin Bacon) who wanted a job or some random stranger who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
@datsome80 I think it should've stopped at 8 was well, in my opinion Jason goes to hell and up are just films that dont take place in the continuity, and just for fun. The first 8 are the entire Friday the 13TH story.
Aparantly he was human (although deformed and mongoloid). He somehow survived at the end of part 3 (axe in the head!). Tommy doyle killed him properly at the end of part 4. (He wasn't in part 5). He became a zombie at the begining of part 6 (lightning striking his body). None of this is made very clear in the films.
@BelfastAtheist What are you talking about? I'm not talking about Freddy VS Jason. I'm talking about THIS movie. Jason Goes to Hell. Keep in mind, this is not the official ending is it?
it did have that but what i ment was that it lacked creativity in its brutality. in the other jasons he would try to use weapons that REALLY were not ment for killing people...for example...in jason X he put that girls face in liquid nitrogen and smashed her face into a million pieces.....
I'm surprised there's no comment here (that I see) of someone being scared by Jason just goin' AAARRRGGHHH RAARRRGGGHH UAAARRRGGGHH BLAARRRGGGHH GUAAARRRRGGHHH HAARRRGGGHHHH screaming in pain like that.
those 'giant hands' belonged to Freddy Krueger a slasher 20 times as awesome as jason. that was how they prepared for freddy vs. jason. what really stinks is that jason actually one.
I enjoyed it. The intro in the movie was a real nice touch(it got an applause). I liked the ending as well. The movie got an applause at the end, so majority of the people did really enjoy it.
i remember watchin the SCIFI channel back in 94 when they had SCIFI Buzz and they showed the making of a scene where jason was in a "throne" in hell and demons were grabbing all on him. i wanted to see that part, but when they finally made the movie, it never made it to the screen. that sucked.
the remake wasnt that bad, Jason was still immortal, he was still strong and he was more angry and vicous...that seemed like Jason alot, and if u havent noticed sum scenes are alot similiar to 1 scene form each of his old movies
theheat... i just came back from seeing it.. what did you think?... i thought it was good, but they skipped around a bit to much... but over all, a good flick and would like to see this one take off so we can bring back the best slasher of all time :D
Well Jason has grunted in other films, but most were when he was alive and took some rather nasty hits. But man God must have really been mad at Jason huh?
I think this version of the ending was better. But I think an even better ending would be to have Tommy Jarvis in this one, and he finally sends Jason to hell but dies in the process. That would have been a dramic and epic ending.
I think this ending wouldn't have been as interesting as the original ending. Because Demons is very cool and all but when you saw Freddys claws it was just a big Wow, Very Unexpected. And it was a nice Cross-Over even if it was onlylike 10 seconds.
Thats like saying that Freddy should always remain in a boiler room. I agree that JasonX is not the greatest Friday, but as far as Part 9 goes, the producers had to take the series in a new direction after SEVEN similar sequels! So, it may not be the best, but it is far from the worst. But, i'll say this...The liquid nitrogen face dunking and shattering kill in JasonX DID ABSOLUTELY KICK ASS!
yes but thats not "friday the 13th", now is it, thats just freddy vs jason, so the series is over id expect, or theyre making a new one, which would be cool
It's been awhile since I saw this film, but I do hope they kept in Jason screaming. It's a nice touch to the character that something can actually harm him after being half-zombiefied.
I met Kane Hodder and I wish I would have asked him about this alternate ending.
Did anybody else realize that's freddy kruegers scream from the end of part 2
I remember reading in Fangoria before this movie came out, that there was supposed to be a scene with Jason in Hell, with Satan talking to him.
Holy shit if that was still in the film that would've been epic
Know what would be a better ending? Freddy and Jason somehow merge into a single abomination called Frason.
myers dies from one freakin knie wound, i dont know, but in the movies, jason takes a punding, and always comes back, jason is hung, then stabbed by his machete and still AND thrown into a lake comes back for more.
I think he means how did Jason come back later in Jason goes to hell when he was blown to kingdom come in the beginning of the film.
that's how i alway's pictured jason dying... being dragged into the firey pits of hell by demons
When Jason goes to hell he's all like with his Machete to the demons," You will become my bitch!" FATALITY!
@deadkitn - Nah, in the movie, only the giant hands pull him down. Here (it's hard to see), the hands come up first, but then you see these little tree root looking demonds pushing him down.
@akty101
no, to a prelude to Freddy VS Jason, Jason got killed, and his mask got dragged to hell by freddy!
Actually in the film version you don't get to see the little demon that's on Jason's back. The big foam hands just grab him and pull him down. So, they didn't cut much from this scene at all...
Jason X came out before Freddy Vs. Jason. But Freddy Vs. Jason was in the works. As I remember, the events of Jason X began in 2008 with him being captured and frozen, a couple of years after FvJ was supposed to happen. I spend too much time watching horror flicks.
Plus, it is something with Jason's mind which does not allow him to talk but making noises is still different.
In Jason X, he is unexplicably re-incarnated.
In FvJ, Freddy summons Jason from hell and thats how he comes back to life.
(if thats what you were asking)
no it's actually a different ending...notice the demon on jason's back in this clip at the very end...that's not in the movie and also if i remember correctly it's the chick who kicks the knife into him, this clip shows the guy doing it
How jason back in "Jason X"?
That was based in the future after freddy vs Jason.
This is before the scene with Freddy's hand (which may have been included anyway). The difference here is the cheesy puppet-demon things dragging him down. In the released version you don't see them, only the large hands.

If the demon would have been better, I would have rather seen that ending.
they did. This was in 1993 and FvsJ was in 2003. Freddy brought Jason out of hell and I think Jason X (hated that one too along with this) took place afterwards since it was 2010-2455. That's just the normal ending of the movie. Freddys hand grabbing the Jason mask is shortly after this scene.
it wasn't the first the one... in the first two movies he wore a bag over his head with one eye hole. it started at the third movie that he wore a goalie's mask.
@Nedyah74 No. the worst is the one when Jason goes to space and he wears that ridiculous spaceship outfit. What were they thinking when they made that mess.
micheal meyers is based on a true story..and the rob zombie 1 is the scariest plot ever its just creepy
what was so different about that scene from the movie? looked pretty much exactly the same.
well, would you scream if you were just stabbed in the heart and about to go back to hell for the second time?
@theaxeman360, his mom was a sick puppy too, she was trying to avenenge Jasons death, the thing is that of all the people she killed only one of the MIGHT have been on at the camp at the time he drown, all of the others were just a bunch of kids (one of whom was a young Kevin Bacon) who wanted a job or some random stranger who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
@Inflicter Actually it was the cast of Fraggle Rock. You know, because they live undergound and everything :P
@datsome80 I think it should've stopped at 8 was well, in my opinion Jason goes to hell and up are just films that dont take place in the continuity, and just for fun. The first 8 are the entire Friday the 13TH story.
yeah, that is another way to put it because jason didn't die in fvj
In the theatrical cut, doesn't Freddy krueger's hand come up from the ground? (it's been SUCH a long time...)
Tommy Doyle? He’s from Halloween, you mean Tommy Jarvis?
in jason X he burns up into the atmosphere and his mask is the only thing left.
There is one difference. Some kinda tree demon constricts Jason and drags him under along with the hands.
Actually the crate is a reference to "Creepshow".
this is what movies looked like early '30
Id actually say part 5 was the most heavily censored.
@Nedyah74
I totally agree
@BelfastAtheist Freddy VS Jason is completely canon based on the ending of THIS movie. Freddy being IN IT and all.
@jakaime yes but did he want to, whjose to say the jason that came back WAS the full concinousness of that jason that died
I'm surprised there's no comment here (that I see) of someone being scared by Jason just goin'
AAARRRGGHHH RAARRRGGGHH UAAARRRGGGHH BLAARRRGGGHH GUAAARRRRGGHHH HAARRRGGGHHHH
screaming in pain like that.
those 'giant hands' belonged to Freddy Krueger
a slasher 20 times as awesome as jason. that was how they prepared for freddy vs. jason.
what really stinks is that jason actually one.
lol the cast of the sesame street show got him actually
I enjoyed it. The intro in the movie was a real nice touch(it got an applause). I liked the ending as well.
The movie got an applause at the end, so majority of the people did really enjoy it.
ok guys heres how he got back from hell freddy brought him back to the surface world then freddy vs jason started there end of story
@BelfastAtheist It was canon. Perhaps you haven't seen this movie?
@TheGarfieldxx30000 got to remember that jason can never be killed
i remember watchin the SCIFI channel back in 94 when they had SCIFI Buzz and they showed the making of a scene where jason was in a "throne" in hell and demons were grabbing all on him. i wanted to see that part, but when they finally made the movie, it never made it to the screen. that sucked.
explains what can u cath me up on this conversation?? sounds intresting
Estoy de acuerdo con Aliciadom, this scene is not deleted.Todo lo q aparece en el video se ve en la pelicula.
the remake wasnt that bad, Jason was still immortal, he was still strong and he was more angry and vicous...that seemed like Jason alot, and if u havent noticed sum scenes are alot similiar to 1 scene form each of his old movies
@9c2008m5 you forgot the fight with freddy, remember, jason voorhess vs freddy krueger
This is cool i use to have the Freddys Dead workprint.I been looking for this Jason Goes To Hell one but its tough to find now.
@bdpchamp
I agree, I didnt get how a decaing child suddenly changed into a grown man by Part 2
Talking and screaming are different. He isn't screaming, he is moaning.
No, Freddy just pulled his mask after it stayed above ground.
does are some badass arms or muppets that draged him to place of fyre
theheat... i just came back from seeing it.. what did you think?... i thought it was good, but they skipped around a bit to much... but over all, a good flick and would like to see this one take off so we can bring back the best slasher of all time :D
This and Jason X really pissed on the other 8 parts. Hope the remake is good =)
Yeah,I agree. When it says "THE FINAL CHAPTER" like it did, they should've meant it.
why would freddy want to summon Jason from hell? just to fight him or soemting?
did jason was screaming at first?
Well Jason has grunted in other films, but most were when he was alive and took some rather nasty hits. But man God must have really been mad at Jason huh?
jason never dies though
yea he is. nothing is sacred, hes also remaking the birds and other good movies
If only the life guards helped him then I would not be hearing Jason Voorhees making all those groaning sounds when he can't even talk!
can i ask where u got this from?nice one for posting-i love these lil gems we find 15 yrs down the road
nice jason goes to hell : the final friday [1993] film deleted ending !!!!
I still saw the hands..
@Sharnese12368911 yea its the same ending but in old version
I think this version of the ending was better. But I think an even better ending would be to have Tommy Jarvis in this one, and he finally sends Jason to hell but dies in the process. That would have been a dramic and epic ending.
The ending to this movie is pretty much just like The Evil Dead.
The dagger, the necronomicon (that also revive jason after his drowning).....bssically friday the 13th is litrally evil dead
yeah it is. i have the dvd and it has deleted scenes
Can't wait to see Jackie Earle Haley as the new Freddy.
I'm an old-schooler, and I love the Reboot. BTW, Jason does run in 2-4...re-watch them.
That should be in the next movie!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, DONT GOOOOOOO, jason!!!!!!
I liked this ending better lol. And of course keep freddy grabbing his mask at the end.
"lol the cast of the sesame street show got him actually"
LOL!
Even terrible movies like this are better than letting Jason just stop coming out of cinema. We can NEVER let the Jason legend die.
Wow. Where'd you find that video?
I think this ending wouldn't have been as interesting as the original ending. Because Demons is very cool and all but when you saw Freddys claws it was just a big Wow, Very Unexpected. And it was a nice Cross-Over even if it was onlylike 10 seconds.
This is the only ending I remember seeing back in 93
+Isaac James same here, I saw the same ending back in the theatres when I was 12, this is indeed the real ending.
Anything else is canon,
Thats like saying that Freddy should always remain in a boiler room. I agree that JasonX is not the greatest Friday, but as far as Part 9 goes, the producers had to take the series in a new direction after SEVEN similar sequels! So, it may not be the best, but it is far from the worst. But, i'll say this...The liquid nitrogen face dunking and shattering kill in JasonX DID ABSOLUTELY KICK ASS!
this is the ending i saw on tv when i was a kid
Is he screaming? I mean i could see it with this movie. He was grunting the entire time.
No, it is not. In the actual movie, the girl kicks him and there are some other small diferences.
Yea really Jason is UNSTOPPABLE
Even when he's going to hell or stabbed to death
He is always going to come back for REVENGE!
yes but thats not "friday the 13th", now is it, thats just freddy vs jason, so the series is over id expect, or theyre making a new one, which would be cool
If only they kept this in instead of clay moulded hands?
It seemed more like a sequel to The Hidden, then Friday the 13th.
the demons looked like gremlins
this is the actual ending - what are you talking about?
Is it just me, or is that the exact same ending that is in the normal movie?
