Dan from Knowledge Fight said he recently started watching the Info Wars broadcasts again because you can so clearly see Alex is putting on a show. And when you're hearing him on radio or whatever other audio only medium, you don't see the performance. you don't see the gears turning in his head to convince himself to believe his own words. So I have an issue with this. Not of Alex Jones losing InfoWars - fuck that guy, it'd be great to never hear from him or the rest of his flunkies again. My question is will he actually lose the brand, though? Remember that Alex Jones is the host, but he technically is under the banner of "Free Speech Systems"; a media company he made, but gave ownership of to his parents as a way of skimping on property rights in case something like this were to happen. Now of course, he tried to file for bankruptcy, but it didn't work and now he has to sell as much of his assets as possible, but with his show, we're dealing with some issues. Media properties can be sold and bought in various ways. Of course, they have the general value involving things like production coats, viewership, staff pay, etc., but sometimes that can be mitigated with simple documentation and a handshake depending on how loose you want to go with literally trading hands. For Jones, he's mainly been grooming people like his son and Paul Joseph Watson to be his successors to the brand if he were to retire or face a legal fuck up like this. Who's to say that Jones won't do something that, say, Keemstar did at a greater scale - sell the intellectual property to another entity, and either still be paid as a host or pass the reins onto another one of his idiot teammates?
